To be fair he has a point. In tennis if someone wins a point they’ve bettered their opponents, if they lose a point they’ve made an error which they shouldn’t have made and cost themselves the point. It’s similar here, Arsenal had the opportunity but made errors which lost it for themselves
@@pete8383 it’s in reference to unforced errors, arsenal went into the last 3 months of the season clear top 4 favourites but lost games which should have been easy based off form. As predicted, Ty gets all defensive when someone has a different opinion than him. Funny how Neville and Man Utd fans are there and Ty isnt calling them cheaters like he does on AFTV.
I actually used to like Ty, but that was embarrassing. Wouldn’t let the Tottenham fan get a word in, constantly sulking and acting like a complete bellend when they brought up Arsenal finishing behind them. Keep him on AFTV where he’s entitled to act like that. Not welcome in these sort of fan debates.

Why Sky continues to bring Ty on shows to “debate” is insane. The minute he’s involved in the conversation I just fast forward cuz it’s going to be nothing but him talking over everyone with shite arguments.
As a United fan I was looking forward to Gary & Jamie’s take on Spurs, how Conte has changed them, the future of Kane & brilliance of Son. All we got was TY screaming over everyone. It’s amazing how every other rival clubs fanbase can sit down & chat yet TY never lets a discussion around Spurs blossom
Ty’s normal talkback behavior on Aftv is funny but in this forum he just sounded like a mad nuisance. Not even his Arsenal buddies we’re laughing alongside him. He really can’t take any form of banter or criticism against his team. This is truly the genesis of his delusion with Arsenal and ‘die with a sinking ship’ attitude.
It's getting to the stage where it reminds me of X Factor auditions where they have a demented member of the public for people to laugh at. It's almost cruel.
Who keeps inviting Ty man, actually unbearable. Carragher spot on when he asked if Arsenal cant be criticized. Most spent last summer No European football, playing a game a week Not a previous managers squad now, all his players Hes decided to go for the youth project and have 'such a young team' Still doesnt get top4. The conditions wont get any better for them to qualify for CL. Yet hes constantly discussed as a great manager.
Gary talking about Conte, “it’s a regime, his diet requirements are strict and he gets his players physically fit” Gary talking about Lukaku, “when he came to chelsea, his gained weight and doesn’t look fit, but he was fit in italy, and i can’t put my finger on it” Conte was the reason he was fit, and that’s what a top coach does
@@benito0072 No mate I disagree, yes he has all those but it was a routine medical that Lukaku said he was struggling with at United and they found something
You can see it with Kane now too!! I thought he looked a little over weight under Jose and Nuno, but he looks as Lean and fit as ever since Conte arrived!! Same for Eric diet
yeah the presenter, who is as milquetoast as they come, was oddly bitchy but the Everton fan handled it with class and had the facts to back it up. guy represented his team better than the actual squad did all season.

It's not really that genius. It just goes to show whoever ran sky must have been a dinosaur for thinking having fans involved in the discussion is controversial.
He started by ridiculing AFTV now he saw their rise including other channels then he jumped on the bandwagon. He couldn't beat them so he had to join them
I agree, you can't have a grown-up objective conversation without him losing his mind, shouting and repeating Invincibles. I think he has mental issues and I'm not trying to banter him. On a similar note, the Tottenham guy is an arrogant prat, they may have finished higher but they won nothing we have won two titles in that time.

Can't imagine many Arsenal fans being happy with the fact that Ty represents them on shows such as this. He clearly has social issues and is unaware of his behaviour. Hopefully this is the last we see of him on this fan debate as not only is he humiliating himself but also Arsenal fans as a whole.

Interesting show. Shame the Spurs/Arsenal segment got suffocated by the guy shouting over everyone. I could feel the collective eye roll through my screen. This format is there to dig in to the weeds and the nuances of clubs, and his “did you win anything?” argument displayed that he’s not up to this level of discussion.

Other than the money it'll bring in the end it means nothing if you don't win it.
That, and to further represent Arsenal and it’s fans as deluded. The main reason I enjoyed this season so much as an Arsenal fan is because I feel the fan base is as energised and together as it has been in a long time, but that narrative is never presented to non-Arsenal fans .. they just have someone like Ty speaking of the trophies we won a decade and a half ago and upsetting the entire flow of the programme through pure childishness. Would love to see a forum with just 20 fans - one per team, with prompts being given to talk about. Bored of the big 6 agenda every single overlap, where the only time they talk about other teams is when someone like Everton nearly gets relegated or Newcastle becomes the richest team in the world. That or they're eyeing up one of their players for a transfer, like last year's Kane and grealish's situation. I get the larger fanbases for the bigger teams and that, but a bit of representation for every club's voice in the variety of fans they have on these would be a breath of fresh air.

Spot on mate.
it was ruined by the 2 on the left!!!! who are they???
Arsenal fans act as if they weren’t the ones who started the whole thing of celebrating fourth like it was a trophy 😂 Wenger even said those exact words. 1:07:18 I get what Carra’s saying but we can’t do it all on one summer, overall we need perhaps 3 midfielders, at least one centre back, a right back, a right winger/wing forward. So for next year we’ve still got a 25/30 goal striker, bring through Charlie McNeill and go for a new one next summer. Make the statement with Bruno Fernandes, bring in Eriksen for free and start him ahead of Bruno straight away, cause he’s an actual playmaker
Wenger celebrating 4th and fans celebrating it is different, wenger celebrated it the fans never did
@@TDG_98 yes they did, you know they did 😂. You even had (had being the key word) st tottinghams day? Or whatever is lol, regardless of where the fact most of those years you weren’t close to winning the league yourselves
@@kJ922-h3j we are not living 10 years ago though are we? Spurs have been closer to the title than arsenal in the last 6 years so for a team that hasn't won a trophy in forever, it's quite embarrassing that arsenal keep falling behind them

The team that should have been featured on the overlap was Brighton and their manager and owner and how the club is run and improving!!!
Love these fan debates.
What would make it better is keeping ty of them. Imagine having someone like ty in your fan base couldn't think of anything worse. Embarrassing
Ty is Wenger reincarnated as the complete opposite person Wenger is

@@twjian1994 Imagine Xhaka, Ty, Robbie and Ozil sharing a room for a week

If these debates were 3-4 hours long I’d still watch them.
The minute ty started shouting I suffered from emence second hand embarrassment. Robbie must be feeling embarrassed by that. Out of everybody who's invited to speak, he's the one just SHOUTING from the crowd. Come on bro!

Finally Arsenal have Robbie there instead of just having Ty who is like having a plastic fork at a gun fight

As a United fan from NYC I can't begin to tell you how informative and important content like this, as well as content from these fans who mostly represent clubs via their work in either media/fan channel/content creation, etc. They give us insight on what it's like for fans "in-person", giving us the updates on feelings, vibe, current energy around the club, news - all the stuff that might not be wholly delivered just by reading some tweets from a journalist. Thanks for content like this, Gary & Jamie! Big up all the fans who represent us!
What’s wrong with supporting a team in New York?
@@BT-ot6gm I’m not a United fan, but it’s not anywhere near the same quality in the US lol. The league is full of international players, international fans should be expected
@@kylelappen2477 what if they support Man City? I was raised a citizen but our fans are slewed for having an international fan base😂

Why’s Flav not been there? At least he avoided Ty 😂
He's just extremely reasonable. Willing to listen and is always calm. It's a refresher from Ty lmao

Arsenal. Honestly. No matter how bad we are. Or even if they finish above. They’re hilarious.
That's Arsenal FOR YOU!
Think you mean AFTV 😉🤣
@@Itsthecreative it's not ONLY AFTV. Have you seen Arsenal fans on RUclips?? Hughwizzy, Lee Gunner, Egal, they're not on AFTV, they're mental too. Even on Tik tok and Twitter they're deluded. I genuinely think that majority of Arsenal fans have something wrong with them. 😂
Really surprised the 1991 Cup winners Cup wasn't brought up 😂 mustn't have been filmed on a friday
As an Arsenal fan, I apologise for Ty's appalling body language and total disrespect when the Newcastle lady is speaking. He does not represent us.
Josh: “Right, time to discuss Arsenal & Tottenham…”
Gary: “Ultimately I think Ten Haag has a massive job on his hands rebuilding United”
Except there's a good ten minutes of discussion on the top 4 place...which nobody gives a fuck about.
Is Ty on the spectrum? Genuine question. I have never seen someone just constantly never let anything be said negative about his team. Can he not see he's purely there to be laughed at and mocked? Surely he must have genuine friends and family to tell him this. It's not fair to him at all.
He's on the pipe
@Hulk Hogan Yet 90% of real football fans would take a top 4 finish over a domestic trophy especially Arsenal who celebrated finishing 5th with an open top bus parade yesterday to which Ty himself attended...
@Hulk Hogan you have the mind set as Ty lmao get checked
Bardi, Spurs fan on the show, also does a podcast, The Extra Inch, in which he mentioned his appearance on this show. He said that before the start, he heard Ty instruct Robbie to stop Bardi from speaking! Obviously, Robbie has too much class to disrespect anyone, so Ty did it himself! He is a Flounder!
The overlap has been mvp for this season.. best thing to come from prem football in a while
Hopefully continues in the future
Please do these next season!!!!! These have been one of the high lights of the season
The best person on this was the Chelsea fan, incredibly articulate and concise. That Arsenal bellend on the other hand...... I thought he was done after the first one - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT INVITE HIM NEXT SEASON. He has the attitude of a child, some serious growing up to do that boy.
She’s not too bad on these. Same with the lfc and city fan. I rather the Tottenham fan from the last video. Pippa and Robbie and lee are good representives of afc, Ty should stop being invited.
Haven’t been able to watch it all yet but The Overlap must return next year. Legitimately the best piece of footballing content around.
Bar the beautiful game of course.
The Don Robbster deciding to leave his Yacht in Monaco to come to the Overlap is a huge W for the Sky
Love how everyone ignores Ty’s tantrums 😂😂😂
I find Ty really pathetic and sad. He brings the whole level down. People who find it funny are the exact kind of people that make Hillsborough remarks, or Munich remarks, or go around using phrases like "banter club" or "bottled". He shouldnt be on. If you cant speak at least remotely objectively and rationally about football on a program such as this; youre taking the place of someone who could, who would add real value.
@@mattvanemden7573 how can you even compare the people who find it funny to people who say Hillsborough or Bayern remarks. That's completely different

No one ever mentions the injuries to Chillwel (whole season), Reece James (5 months), Kante (barely played 20 games) 3 key players to our system. Then Lukaku busting and all of the off-field problems.
With all of that to win two trophies, be in 2 cup finals, round of 8 in champions league to the team that could win it all and a comfortable top 4 finish. I’d say that’s a decent season
No one like us Chelsea mate ha ktbff 💙💙
If you're a Chelsea fan, don't come here to watch anything positive about Chelsea. Even if by a miracle Chelsea win treble, these people will still say 'But they didn't do it convincingly', 'they're not the first to do it', 'we expected Quadruple, etc, etc.
