Outstanding! The sound of that big German V8 can't be matched. It sounds strict yet mad at the same time. I will never forget that scene in 'Risky Business' when Joel started up his Dad's 928 and I felt, in the air around me, the tight, low rumble of the motor then goes silent as he stalls then starts again resonating with deep pings off the walls of the garage. Wonderful . I bought my now long gone black '84 928 S because of that scene. I'm here looking to replace it...
Yes! I remember that movie from my youth and you're right - the sound of the V8 is incomparable. If you're looking to replace yours - this one is very well sorted and for sale now www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/porsche/928gt/2007265.html
Damn you I've REALLY been trying to resist the urge to get another one I'm not rich im a working class dog making decent money with herculean effort but I think after watching this ......I think as far as my resistance goes i may be LOST because in spite of the issues I had with my previous one years ago ( probably my fault for lack of due diligence) this is what I think a car should look & act like DAMN!
Oh man, I also think of getting another one sometimes. When I had this one, I found a good community of 928 enthusiasts who support one another with leads on parts and whatnot. But it's not easy to find mechanics who know their way around one. Good luck if you decide to take the plunge again!
I've always had a thing for the 923. Beautiful.
Thanks. I sold it five years ago and still miss it.
Very, very nice.
This might be the best one I seen so far🔥🔥🔥
