I have been watching Jess for a few months now and in the background every once in a while I would see a devotional crop up in the suggested videos and I never sat to watch them purely because I just hadn't. I was not raised in a house where church or god was talked about and for this reason I often denied him. In the past week I have been struggling with the blessings I have and with what struggles I see ahead and honestly coming to culmination tonight when I sat down and began my conversation with god. Thank you Jess for helping this connection I know he sent me here even before I was ready to aknowledge him.

Somehow I became a follower on your Instagram. I guess bc we have a farm with chickens and huge gardens....So I noticed you do RUclips videos. I love watching RUclips and learning so much. I have taught myself to can. Garden. Chickens. Etc. From you tube. I was a city girl with a dream of a farm. God gave me our farm with lots of hardwork....we have redone our farmhouse from the foundation up. I have such a testimony and have thought maybe I wanted to do RUclips videos...Even bought a computer but haven't started yet. Yes. We as Christians utter these words "God is good" when we are fighting the fight of our lives, it is warfare. The tongue is a weapon and even if the words "God is good" feels empty the the one uttering it, it still is a obliterating blow to the enemy camp. God is good all the time, even if I don't believe it sometimes.

After watching this, I know why. Your words were balm for my soul. I needed this. My brother died in February. His loss has hit me really hard… he is the third brother that has died. I cried ♥️ I'm in a place in my life right now that has really been hard on me and everyday I look for something to give me encouragement and hope. Some days I catch a glimpse of something, and others I don't. I am so thankful I discovered your Instagram because you've given me hope on days where I feel like a shell of the person I used to be. I used to have so much hope, but life experiences have caused my hope to fade. I feel so guilty because I *do* know God is capable of doing anything and everything, but in my mind I always think, "but would He for me?". I truly believe that thought comes from me feeling like *I'm* not good enough. But sometimes I'm able to step back and see the truth that He loves me all the time no matter what. I just wanted to let you know how inspirational you have been for me. The first video that I saw was called Dear new gardener, you can grow food. I was very moved and I started watching your channel. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you and your sweet family. I am now watching all of your videos from the beginning so I have a better idea of the journey that has brought you to where you are today. I’m waiting for the fulfillment of my lifetime dream of a farm. I’ve raised most of my 8 kids but I still want the farm. It’s something that I’m working toward with the help of my 2 oldest sons and daughter in law. Thank you for sharing your journey and being real but always encouraging.

These are such good words! I've been lacking in my walk with God recently. I've been out of church since March (due to it being closed because of the virus.) There have been times between now and then where I felt like I missed that environment of believers, but not many. I've felt so distracted and preoccupied with everything going on that I haven't even given much thought at all to God or any part of my relationship with him. It makes me feel sad and a little scared that it could all fade so easily, but this gave me hope to start over. You truly have a talent for preaching the word and you use it so well. You are an incredibly beautiful soul.

Yes. We as Christians utter these words "God is good" when we are fighting the fight of our lives, it is warfare. The tongue is a weapon and even if the words "God is good" feels empty the the one uttering it, it still is a obliterating blow to the enemy camp.

We watched a video on your tomato trellises using cattle panels. I told my husband I wanted to subscribe to your channel because I liked you and Jeremiah from the get go. After watching this, I know why. Your words were balm for my soul. I needed this. My brother died in February. His loss has hit me really hard… he is the third brother that has died. I’m the oldest and have one brother left. All three of my baby brothers have died. All of them without children. And I’ve been so broken by yet another loss in my family. Thank you.

I cried ♥️ I'm in a place in my life right now that has really been hard on me and everyday I look for something to give me encouragement and hope. Some days I catch a glimpse of something, and others I don't. I am so thankful I discovered your Instagram because you've given me hope on days where I feel like a shell of the person I used to be. I used to have so much hope, but life experiences have caused my hope to fade. I feel so guilty because I *do* know God is capable of doing anything and everything, but in my mind I always think, "but would He for me?". I truly believe that thought comes from me feeling like *I'm* not good enough. But sometimes I'm able to step back and see the truth that He loves me all the time no matter what. I just wanted to let you know how inspirational you have been for me. The first video that I saw was called Dear new gardener, you can grow food. I was very moved and I started watching your channel. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you and your sweet family. I am now watching all of your videos from the beginning so I have a better idea of the journey that has brought you to where you are today. I’m waiting for the fulfillment of my lifetime dream of a farm. I’ve raised most of my 8 kids but I still want the farm. It’s something that I’m working toward with the help of my 2 oldest sons and daughter in law. Thank you for sharing your journey and being real but always encouraging.

These are such good words! I've been lacking in my walk with God recently. I've been out of church since March (due to it being closed because of the virus.) There have been times between now and then where I felt like I missed that environment of believers, but not many. I've felt so distracted and preoccupied with everything going on that I haven't even given much thought at all to God or any part of my relationship with him. It makes me feel sad and a little scared that it could all fade so easily, but this gave me hope to start over. You truly have a talent for preaching the word and you use it so well. You are an incredibly beautiful soul.
