Am not gonna lie! He looks fantastic!! And feels incredible!! But to mess with and play around with..to try to get into pose!! Is Horrible!! Sometimes all that heavy plastic and diecast gets in the way of playability!! Is almost his like a Hefty Brick!! Just like the Thomas!! Looks phenomenal!! But Horrible to mess with! Am sorry!! Pretty like having a Statue!! Just put him a Glass Cabinet! And call it a Day!! Now I know why all I see A stance! ..smh!! As much as I think his superior to Xtbs! I definitely feel like ..this Figure!! Is very AWKWARD! to move around.
Yeah… I do agree with you on the heft… I don’t mention it because a lot of people seem to like that… (maybe they think that = higher quality???)… but I kind of agree that the weight interferes with the playability / transformation… For me it’s like the Binaltech vs Alternators… I prefer the alternators because it’s easier the play with and transform… and yeah, I think FansToys looks better (toon accurate)… but in all fairness XTB is an older figure / design…
@@streakshooter918 The problem Streakshooter!! ...is the LACK of a thigh cut! ...that point of Articulation is Absolutely Critical imo! Because his really limited in the legs because of it. That's why...all you see is "A".. it kind defeated the purpose of the Abcrunch. If you look at every review and IG ...it's all A stance! ..smh!! And at $240..and the year is 2024!...that's crazy!! Sorry!! But because of that!!...I think that's a Fatal Flaw!! ..look at those new Fts Constructicons and ArielBots..I think there asking $220 for Basic 90° Articulation! That's why imo Xtransbots is superior.
@2006chunming I don’t think I understand the thigh cut articulation… but I agree the price is just too high… as for the Constructicons and Aerialbots, I have to take a closer look when I get them… But I did just make a video of the articulation so I can see the difference in articulation… and they seem to have the same amount of articulation… at least for this figure…
This really is a mind-blowing moment because i have the original Andras and he is a gorgeous figure and then i got Inquisitor and then looking at Andras is like looking at an old low definition TV vs a hi def oled. Andras is very cartoon accurate and a beautiful figure, but putting them aside by side just shows how good fanstoys is with their technology and chiseling fine details. I think both figures are great. FT is miraculously gorgeous but Andras is certainly a figure worth having. I just can't say I'm convinced to buy his 3 pack or not because i do know how much nicer the ft looks side by side. Standing alone andras is amazing, too.
Interesting metaphor (Low def TV)… I think that’s a creative way to describe the difference… XTB is an older figure… and more importantly, the design was not made to capture the full toon aesthetics (fusion toy/toon)… like they do today with most of their new figure… and FT… was designed to capture the toon aesthetics… and they did a excellent jab at that… So the judging them based on the criteria to toon accuracy is not fair/equal… but I will say that their are things that I like and don’t like about each figure… based on my preference (toon accuracy) and how well designed the figures are… Overall, I like both… but I lean more towards FT on this one…
@@streakshooter918 I agree with you. I almost passed on inquisitor because I had Andras and thought it's silly to upgrade. I waited months before buying inquisitor. After receiving him, I was shocked and just more appreciative of how well fanstoys is at their craft. How did they do it? How does ft always manage to outdo what is an amazingly competent competition? They all deserve credit (and discredit in certain situations) for all being amazing figures, so amazing I want to have them all! 😭
@@kohnfutner9637 I was going to pass on FT cause I have XTB and the Price… but after seeing how toon accurate it is… and how their design fits in and stays consistent with their other figures ( Cyclonus and Galvatron )… I had to get it… and my impression when I got it in hand was like your… Amazing… In terms of “how…” FT produces figures better than most… (not all their figures)… is simply their design choice (IMO)… First, I think they try to keep their design simple (aesthetically and functionally)… Some people don’t like that cause they want more detail and articulation… which complicates and compromises how well the figure can be made… but in short, It’s a design choice… For product design… I learned in school to keep things SIMPLE… and I think that’s why FT does well with their figure… but I don’t like how they are charging more now…
The same from simple perspective… (both with grey top, black bottom that turns into double barrel boxed gun)… but there are major difference that I portended out… (the extra sculpted detail on XTB… and the nice paint on FansToys)… and the transformation is different… which I am already aware of… but didn’t mention it…

Xtb has the head gimmick in alt mode you just pull the head up its much easier.
