I've still got my original version of Andras (with unfortunate paint chipped off his nose and really weak ankle rocker that doesn't like holding a pose), but looking at this I'm a bit surprised. This is labeled as their "Toon" version, but he's got silver thighs where all their other "toon" style figures use white in lieu of silver.
just finished the transformation.. good steps btw.. thanks.. decided to get this.. i have the original as well.. never wanted 2 of this mold always thought to have the FansToys version when he does come out.. because we know they are going to at some point.. but i decided to call an audible and get this mold again due to the fans toys frenzy.. at this point i really doubt i would be able to get my hands on a FT figure again.. sucks
Should they make more sweeps in assorted colors to give them individuality like the seekers or the Datsun brothers. Even the clones from that other brand. I’m just wondering.
With this guy on a shelf with just the FTs figures you had in the review does he stand out as if he did not belong, or does he blend in? I'm thinking about getting this version instead of waiting for FT.
@@TMReviews maybe ther can’t compete, but considering how expensive FTs version of Galvatron is right now, I’d like another option. Of course that doesn’t xtransbots would be well priced.
I like the new paint but I'm still holding out in hopes one day FTs will make Scourge. I'm a little worried at XTBs pricing for their Autobot Spike. Especially after their ridiculous pricing for Dr. Egg. Thanks for the content.
Thanks for the Review TM. I have three of the original figures. Was going back and forth with myself on whether to pull the trigger on all 4 of the re-paints. I'm going to pass. Too expensive for the quality and these figures really harken back to the days where my opinion of X-Transbots/KFC was at an all time low (still pissed about how god awful Cliffjumper, Windcharger, Swerve and the Autobot cassettes are). l'll wait for another company to more than likely do this figure better. @@TMReviews You know what's funny...after buying 4, I was more than likely going to buy 4 more just to complete the set. There was an episode called "Call Of The Primitives" if I remember correctly, where there was actually 7 Sweeps. My wallet thanks you

Maybe but it wouldn't be from the cartoon at that point
think another review said the little blue piece was for him to use MP-39 Megatron's energon mace.

Yeah I was watching Skullfaces old review to figure out where the square goes and in the baggie the paper says “Apollyon Mace weapon connector”

I see you have the overspray issue on the inner wings. Xtransbots replaced mine and it makes the figure look a million times better.

The pale color looks gray in those character models. The baby blue is offputting. Doesn't strike me as villainy.
It's not as bad in person but definitely could use more muted colors
