This is late era Neil Young, i think in the sixties and seventies Neil and the others were living not in their minds but in a tremendous creative wave that eventually crested and broke. That was the golden age of music that meant something too. They were living the dream dangerously on the edge.

Maybe the most authentic musician ever. You always know you’re gonna get Neil giving 100% no matter what he’s doing. You might not always love it, but he’s always true to himself and his own vision and always giving it his all.
What I love about him is his passion. Always plays as though it's the final performance. Saw him at Hammersmith London years ago, an hour of solo acoustic, then two and half of stunning electric, plus his very dry humour.
I was a little boy in my moms car…heard Heart of gold. Was a fan before I knew who he was!!! Always have been since. .seen CSNY …Crazy Horse..Niel accustic…I’ve always appreciated the honesty in his songs..and so much more ✌🏻❤️

Neil is one smart cookie. I was startled to hear George Harrison didn't like Neil's music. George said he didn't like Neil's voice. George Harrison was my favorite Beatle when they were the Beatles but I hated when George evolved into the my sweet lord Hare Krishna marshmallow meltdown. Huge Beatle fan here. Huge Neil Young fan here!
I love Neil, he is passionate, clever, outspoken, poetic, stubborn, and consistently erratic. The interview with Patti Smith is my favourite, cause I love her too.
@@ryreinhardtYou’re missing out on some truly incredible pieces of music. He does get too political at times but only on a few albums. It’s also more environmentalist than it is leftist. But anyways, like what you like man, but listen to Ragged Glory, Chrome Dreams II and Psychedelic Pill someday and you won’t regret it. Although I feel like you’re gonna be jaded against it no matter what.
