I have missed you soooo much Daniela! You are truly an inspiration to not just the woman who follow you, but to all the men who not just quilt but also loved ones that are fighting to stupid cancer. I am so happy to see you in full swing and it made me cry just seeing your video. I love everything about you. From your quilting patterns to your quilting videos. When I first started sewing/quilting, about 10 years ago, I had nowhere to go to look at for sewing and/or quilting and being a guy, I didn't know if even men could quilt, though now I know they do...I am a bit naive...lol. Then one day, while streaming on YT, I saw one of your videos, the Up Square Down Square video, and I fell in love with how you explained on how to make a quilt and the way you articulated the pattern was AMAZING!!! I never did make the pattern, but I saved the video because whenever I need motivation to quilt, for some reason, your voice inspires me to just sew. Even though you have tons of videos, the Up Square Down Square video is what gets me to sew. Don't ask me what it is about it, but it just does. During stupid covid, your videos kept me going to sew. When you were gone, I was lost. So I pulled you up on YT and searched for my saved video. I started to cry. I started to cry because it was like seeing a long lost friend that I hadn't seen in a long while and your voice was as welcoming as a warm hug. Thank you for all you do and I am so glad that you are doing well. I am so very happy to hear that you are coming back and I am so looking forward to seeing you on the stage again. I love you like a friend and I hope that one day I will make it out to you at Cozy Quilt Center in El Cajon so I can meet you and give you a great big hug and a huge THANK YOU!!! Good luck in all you do and I look forward to your inspiration(s). ~Tavo B. from Fennville, MI
So pleased you are well again, I wish you all the very best of health and happiness for the future. Looking forward to seeing more quilting videos from the quilting strip club...❤
Thank you, Daniela, for using your platform to help others detect cancer early. I'm someone whose ovarian cancer was detected by sonography -- before it had spread -- and that was 18 years ago. Early detection makes an enormous difference. I can only imagine what you've been through in the past few years, and my heart goes out to you. You look good, and I hope that that is a reflection of your underlying improving health. Wishing you long life and a return to an increasing sense of normalcy. You've done a very good thing today.
Thank you for sharing and I am glad you are back. I have a niece - in her early 40's- going through breast cancer that was missed on her mammogram. After Chemo and a double mastectomy it appears they got everything, including the lymph nodes. I have to say it was really tough for her and also tough to see her go through this but she is a champ. Anyone who goes through cancer in my book is a hero and so are YOU! BTW - I love Cozy Quilt Designs patterns - they are my go to when I pick out a pattern. Love and prayers!
Bless you Daniela! You’ve been in my thoughts & prayers. I’m so glad to see you looking hale and hearty! Cancer is a bitch (I know from personal experience - breast stage 3A) but those of us that come out the other side are reborn (sounds corny but I lack the words to describe). I’m looking forward to your New Strip Club. I’ve been watching your older ones a few times each. I always get something new out of every video, too Love & lots of good thoughts your way! Quilting is VERY GOOD for the Soul.
I just bought a pattern yesterday after having seen this video, wanting to support Daniela and popped on to write a message of support. Imagine my heartbreak learning that she has passed. While I do not have this confirmed other than the post below. I am SO HEARTBROKEN for her family and for the entire quilting family who has lost a genius and a beautiful soul. Please let us know how we can support you!
Just learned that we have lost our beautiful Daniela to cancer. My condolences to her family and to her RUclips family. We have lost a loved, talented and brave soul. Rest in Peace, Daniela🌹🌷💐
Prayers for your continued good health. I’m so sorry you endured that journey. Looking forward to seeing you again with your wonderful, uplifting personality & spirit.
So overjoyed to see you again! Wishing you continued health, healing, and sending positive energy your way! Thank you for sharing the important information about the warning signs of ovarian cancer.
I had no idea that you had been diagnosed. I did wonder where your channel had gone. I am so glad that you are back and you look great! I hope you are feeling great too. Can't wait to see your new content. April
So glad to hear from you again. The last few years have taken their toll on many of us in so many ways. As a cancer survivor myself (breast cancer 44 and 50 yrs ago) I know the toll cancer takes on you both physically and emotionally and your smiling face tells me if your victory. Stay strong, take care of yourself and I look forward to many years of quilting with your inspiration.
I'm fighting stage 4 endometrial cancer. And my quilting is keeping my mind distracted. I have many quilts on the go, or in planning so I can't die until they are all done. Chemo is a savage journey so lots of love to all
Glad to see your amazing smile again. And I agree that Ovarian cancer is silent. I had none of those symptoms on the list just a swollen lymph node in the groin. Looking forward to watching you again.❤
Happy to see you and have you back......my sister couldn't beat her colon cancer during that nasty covid period, so I am pleased to see that you won your battle. Cancer is such a nasty word. Looking forward to your new ideas. God bless
You are incredible. So glad you're getting better. You have given SO MUCH to the quilting community. I can't believe how much I've learned from your generosity. God bless you on your next adventure and thank you so much for fighting like a BOSS!!!
So glad to hear you’re doing well; and will be returning to us. My “Sewquester” quilt sits on my sofa. It reminds me of the joy you brought to me and everyone else during our quarantine time. Thank you!
I want to let you know that I am a 23 year survivor of stage 4 ovarian cancer! I also had no symptoms. And I was on the very low-risk end of the scale. But I had great doctors, and with lots of prayers I am still here!! I pray you have a full recovery!!
Oh Daniella, i am so very, very glad that you are back, that you are upbeat and i so hope and pray that you are on the mend.because i wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy. You know when i was in my teens it said that it would affect 1 in 4 of us, then it was 1 in 3 when my beloved father got Bladder cancer and died from it. That dreadful disease is now down to affecting 1 in 2 of us now i am 56, instead of it disappearing with all the new medical wonders, it seems that it will soon be down to every living person. I was one of your new subscribers just before Covid hit and i went through the Covid quilt with you thinking someday. Although i'm not good at my points, i am getting better at lining up and now on my 3rd quilt for my 3 year old granddaughter. Thank you so very much for all the brilliant ideas and patterns that you and your Mum design for us. Sending you crafty healing hugs, Norah, Glenochil, Scotland
So sorry to hear about your struggles with the horrible C, but as my husband also a cancer patient would say your smiling and still on the right side of the dirt. I look forward to your beautiful quilts whenever you feel ready and up to it. Don’t push yourself, ever, for us. We will still be here when you post, and understand when you don’t. You have many people out there who support you and are happy to receive whatever you can give whether big or small. Take care of yourself, all the best. Hugs
I was just talking about your channel the other day and realized I hadn't seen you since the pandemic sew along. So sorry you got hit w such a difficult blow and so grateful that your back
So glad to see your smiling face again after all this time. I will reach 5 years of remission from my breast cancer this summer. I found the lump between doctors’ visits and mammograms. Did the surgery, treatments, etc., but I found as I went to the store, banks, etc., although women knew about self-exams, nobody was using this valuable tool to maintain their heathy life style. So here’s what I want to tell all women about breast cancer. YOU MUST DO A SELF EXAM ONCE A MONTH!!! No exceptions!!! I suggest doing your exam in the shower and feel for any bumps or lumps you have not felt before. Don’t be embarrassed if it turns out to not be cancer. Any and all doctors, nurses, aides or technicians would rather find nothing now, instead of major cancer later. Thanks letting me share my experience with others, too. I know this has been a hard 2 years for you, Daniela, but you are looking good and healthy. I wish you God’s grace and blessings and will thank Him in my prayers for watching over you. Looking forward to your next video!! May you have God’s peace. 🙏❤️🥰
what a lovely post. Thank you, Gail. I agree. We can help ourselves with knowledge and those self-exams. There is a big difference between stage 1 and stage 3 (or 4). Happy for your 5 years of remission. ♥
@@CozyQuiltDesigns Thanks for the kind words. (I was lucky or blessed; we found it at Stage 1. Yours must have been 3 or higher. I’m so sorry. I know how hard that must have been. ❤️🙏
I’m so glad you’re back and in fine form! When Covid shut everything down and I was laid off from my awesome fabric store job, I found you online and joined the Sewquester fun. It was so comforting to have a sewing connection during that weird scary time. Very very happy to see you again. 💕
So glad you are better, my daughter-in-law had ovarian cancer. She was fortunate that it was found early. She had surgery and chemo and has been cancer free for 4 years. Praying for your continued recovery.💙💙💙💙
More than a few of us have traveled along this road. Some are there in support of others, while others still, are active participants. Thank you for sharing your journey. Be well my friend.
I'm so glad to see you and hear you again! You have always been so uplifting and positive in your videos! Thank you! Glad you are back!! This community needs you!!
Thank you Daniella for helping all of us know the symptoms of ovarian cancer. It is so important for all women of all ages. We have mother's, sister's and daughter's of all kinds and we need to help each other. You are an inspiration to all of us. I love you very much for sharing your journey. Bill and I are behind you all of the way. Twenty years of Cozy and looking forward to 20 more at least. Now that's forward thinking... I'll be 90! Ha, ha and still sewing.
I am a new subscriber and I am so happy that I found your channel. I often heard about you and your patterns from Donna Jordan's videos . I live in Bucharest, Romania, I am a doctor and quilting is my hobby and my therapy . I appreciate your message about health and I wish you all the best . 🍀
So glad to see you back. As an Oncology RN, I know of your journey. Thank you for sharing part of your story. Hang in there and I'll continue to pray for your wellness. Blessings, Karen.
I know I'm not alone in missing your posts, and I'm glad to hear you are getting ready to start videos again. You've done a wonderful thing to share this part of your journey, and of course I'm wishing you the best health going forward.
You look wonderful. I too am an ovarian cancer survivor. I'm doubly blessed to have also survived a recurrence. It's a beast and does require all your energy to fight. So glad you're back and quilting! 🦋
I've been here the whole time waiting. I'm so glad you are going to be back. I'm praying 🙏 for you. I had breast cancer in 2008. What a battle. God bless.
Thank you Daniela for sharing this with us and sharing the information about this cancer's symptoms. We love having you back and wish you all the best as you continue to fight this horrible disease. You have given us all so much inspiration through the years with your patterns and videos and we continue to be uplifted by your strength, determination and wit. God Bless You!
Cancer sucks, I never knew about your cancer but found your videos a few months ago and have been watching them. Love hearing your going to start doing them again. Love your patterns.
So glad to see you are feeling strong enough to post this message. I learned so much from your videos and have missed your sessions on strip quilting. Keep smiling and one step in front of the other. Thank you for sharing the information on ovarian cancer.
I was just a marathon of past videos today! As a matter of fact, my situation for the last couple of the years has been somewhat similar... only it was cervical and it was my 33 year old daughter. I've not sewn in close to three years, as I dropped everything to moved to Oklahoma City to be her full time care giver. I'm starting to feel the pull to sew again... but it has taken time. I'm so very thrilled to see you back Miss Daniella... My prayers for your continued health and healing! My daughter's name is Emily... Is because I can't yet bring myself to say was... She was stage 3B and very quickly became 4... but she chose to fight, and fight we did, if only for as many moments allowed to us. She almost made it to two years, and she will always be forever 33. Cancer is a cruel beast. She suffered horribly, and never once complained. In the end, she died very quietly and peacefully in my arms. I am so very blessed to have been her Mama. I couldn't be more proud of the way she lived, and how she faced her own mortality. Preach your message darlin girl. I, in her honor am writing a book about her legacy and message about cervical cancer and the importance of exams. I send you hugs, and smiles through tears, and all the precious moments to fill your days. Thank you for your wonderful work and inspiring generosity to share with all of us. Blessings sweet girl. You'll be in my prayers.
I just joined and I look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing about your ovarian cancer. Us women need to be aware of the symptoms. I have a friend who was dx about 2 yrs. ago. She is doing very well. She had surgery and a few rounds of chemo. Bless you and all who are affected by this disease.❤
I have often wondered about you as I have thought about my cozy quilt ruler. You are in my prayers and thoughts and praises that you are here with us today. We love you. ❤️ Go in grace and peace 🙏
Bless you Daniela and I wish you good health. I was diagnosed with Breast cancer in October 2022. During my treatments ( body CT Scan) my doctors also found uterine cancer. I understand the path to health is long and hard and not a straight line. My journey is still on going, but I am very happy for you to be able to continue the work you love.
Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Those of us who have been on cancer journeys send you all the love and prayers and strength. We are really glad,to see you back on RUclips. Take care and looking forward to future videos.
I used to work with GynOnc patients in a teaching hospital setting. The social worker that I worked with and I both agreed that ovarian cancer was the one we feared the most. I will always have a special place in my heart for GynOnc patients. You all have such dignity and grace. 🙏
Thank you for what you do for us warriors. The crew that support us, especially the onc nurses, will forever have a special place in my heart. ♥ Appreicate the post, Irene.
Thank you for sharing and I am glad you will be returning to posting content online. I also was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and received treatment in 2020. It is truly a silent condition. Mine was picked up during a CT scan for my first ever kidney stone at age 59. My oncologist said that kidney stone saved my life. During treatment, I always looked forward to getting enough strength back that I could sew. I am so happy you have been blessed with the strength to return to what you do so well and that you are using the platform you have to share with others about your journey. God bless.
We have all missed you.. I want you to know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers... Looking forward to new posts from you and a healthy future for all..🥰
So glad you are back again!! So sorry to hear about the cancer but you are looking well and would love to hear about your journey one day. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2021. I do understand the ups and the downs. Praying God’s blessing for you! Looking forward to new videos.
So very happy to hear you on on the mend physically, emotionally, and hopefully financially as well. We did feel your absence and missed seeing you and learning from you! So happy you are back! Thank you for telling us just a small part of your story and the trials you have been facing and keeping life real.
Bless your heart! I just found your channel. My Grandma passed away from Ovarian cancer. I know what you went through. We are here for you and so glad I found your channel. God bless you. Thank you❤
God bless you, Daniela. Thank you for reaching out and sharing the information about ovarian cancer with us. I really have missed seeing you and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Thank you for sharing the info about ovarian cancer. You may save lives in sharing this! So thankful you are better now and looking forward to sewing new content!
Huge hugs! I have truly missed your content, and your smiling face. Take all the time you need, your fans will still be here, when you are healthy enough to return. I cannot even fathom going through life changing illnesses during a pandemic. You are a rockstar ❤
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Daniela. I too have fought cancer- and continue to do so. A positive attitude is a great defense, which explains why you’re doing so well. God bless you! Have enjoyed your Facebook live streams and now look forward to your RUclips videos.
It's so great to see your face again! I've prayed for you many days since the sewquester and not being anywhere close to your store I only see videos. I was so happy to see this pop up today. I'm now dealing with the C word struggle and seeing others quilts is what us feeding my soul. I will quilt again in time. Sending lovely thoughts and prayers your way. It will be a joy to see you and your fun tutorials again. ❤️
Hugs sweet friend. You are strong and a fighter. I, too, was diagnosed with cancer in 2021. All is good now, and I am very happy that chapter of life is done. Onwards and upwards!! Heres to more quilting and a happy, healthy life for everyone!!!
So sorry to hear of your battle with cancer. Hope you have beaten it for good! I have loved Strip Club patterns from the early days...2006?!? Glad to have you back in action. 💕
Daniella, I had no idea. I am so sorry you have had to go through cancer and treatment. You do look fabulous. I think you are the best. You have given me inspiration. Thank you for your kind words of warning. Ovarian cancer killed my cousin and closest friend. Her symptoms were as you listed. I will "Share" your "Channel update". I suggest you tell others to do so as well.
Please give this a thumbs up! We all need to hear this message about Ovarian Cancer. So glad you are back. Sending love your way.

I'll be 90! Ha, ha and still sewing.
and still sewing! ♥
Daniella so glad you are back! Thank you Jesus for touching this beautiful woman! Stay strong love!
♥
I am a new subscriber and I am so happy that I found your channel. I often heard about you and your patterns from Donna Jordan's videos . I live in Bucharest, Romania, I am a doctor and quilting is my hobby and my therapy . I appreciate your message about health and I wish you all the best . 🍀
So glad to see you back. As an Oncology RN, I know of your journey. Thank you for sharing part of your story. Hang in there and I'll continue to pray for your wellness. Blessings, Karen.
Oncology nurses are some of my favorite people in the whole wide world. Thank you for what you do, Karen.
Oh Daniela I have so missed you! It is so very wonderful to see you ! Blessings to you always! I can’t wait for more quilting project videos!
I know I'm not alone in missing your posts, and I'm glad to hear you are getting ready to start videos again. You've done a wonderful thing to share this part of your journey, and of course I'm wishing you the best health going forward.
So glad your coming back! I've missed you. So happy you are getting well. Cancer sucks!
You look wonderful. I too am an ovarian cancer survivor. I'm doubly blessed to have also survived a recurrence. It's a beast and does require all your energy to fight. So glad you're back and quilting! 🦋
I love a survivor. Especially a double survivor! ♥ Thank you for sharing.

So glad you are able to be back with us.
So glad to see you are feeling strong enough to post this message. I learned so much from your videos and have missed your sessions on strip quilting. Keep smiling and one step in front of the other. Thank you for sharing the information on ovarian cancer.
A cousin and a friend had heartburn that wouldn't go away. I am glad you have come thru the other side. Many blessings to you.
Luckily I have had minimal side effects. Except that pesky hair loss. But who needs hair anyway.
My love to you and your daughter.
As a 28 yr Ovarian cancer survivor myself I totally sympathize!! Loads of healing prayers
Thanks for the note. Love connecting with other survivors. ♥ 28 years! Give me so much hope.
So glad your friend is doing well. I love survivor stories.

I have often wondered about you as I have thought about my cozy quilt ruler. You are in my prayers and thoughts and praises that you are here with us today. We love you. ❤️
Go in grace and peace 🙏

Daniella, I had no idea. I am so sorry you have had to go through cancer and treatment. You do look fabulous. I think you are the best. You have given me inspiration.
