Beautiful quilt and your fabric choices were gorgeous! Thank you! I am going to have to check and see if you have a tutorial for curved log cabin block. Your daughter is beautiful!
Here’s my pitch: a summer camp for adults in your quilt store. We could sleep on the floor among the bolts, wander around gazing at the loveliness all day, and then share our quilt ideas along with some beverages in the evening!
Thanks, Donna. I've been quilting for 40 years, taught quilting and consider myself very experienced. But, I learned a new technique from you today. As simple as it is squaring up a strip and cutting with scissors while sitting at the machine is ingenious. Goes to show we can learn something new everyday no matter how much we think we know. 😀 Love your vlogs. Keep on quilting!
Donna, your beautiful daughter is a natural on camera! And thank you for the incredible scissor trick- it was a ‘duh!’ moment after just making 12 blocks ‘trim as you stitch’ using mat, ruler and rotary blade after each seam!!
Donna, you won't beieve how much my quilting has improved just from watching your tutorials. All you hints are so very helpful. Thank so much for your help. My only wish is that I lived closer to you.
Your warehouse has changed sooo much since this was recorded! Love seeing your family participating. This pattern and your choice of fabric are phenomenal as always❤️👍🏻👏🏻
You have really turned me on to Cozy Quilt patterns. I like the size option they give on all their patterns. I also love seeing the process of how you go through picking fabrics. Matt does a great job picking fabrics for the shop. Keep making the videos. They are great!!
I love your teaching method and your very clear and skilful demonstration. I’m noticing that I’m learning really good habits and techniques as a new quilter since following your methods. Thank you so much Donna for your care and commitment to your tutorials.
I love this quilt and the colors you chose. I really like your choice of colors in all your quilts. You always do such a great job of explaining how to do everything. You and Matt are my favorite to watch in video tutorials.
Hi Donna, I just love your style of quilting ! Some quilters do a lot of pinning and I find that so tedious sometimes when you’re a more experienced quilter like you. I do use pins when working with larger pieces or borders but for most blocks I find it’s not necessary! Keep making your videos, they are so inspiring and make me want to go to my sewing room to create some beautiful quilts. Thank you ❤
Well.I've been quilting for 20 years and your way of squaring up the strip surrounding your central fabric is one I'd not thought of before.Turning round complete blocks so you don't have to match up horizontal seams is ingenious too. Thanks for both ideas.Your videos are really interesting and easy to listen to.
I really enjoy quilting and like to watch what you do so that I can make other type of blocks. You make the designs really pop in color and designs. Thank you for you suggestions.
You have the most amazing fabrics and you always choose the perfect combination to make your quilt(s). Thank you for demonstrating how easy it is to make this complicated looking square. Regards, Rosemary
This is the first time I have seen one of your tutorials. I would remember if I had done so previously--Jordan is my husband's and grandson's name; so I would have checked it out upon sight. As for your tutorial, quilt pattern, and fabric choice, they are awesome! I love the way you cut the pieces at the sewing machine with a scissor; what a time saver. The quilt pattern is timeless and is going on my to-do list. The fabric you chose is perfect for the quilt. I have subscribed to both your emails and tutorials. Thanks so much for sharing of your time and talent!
Hai Matt and Donna..I'm from Malaysia have been watching your tutorials ..I love sewing and you have varieties of collection...and I am starting to prepare do patchwork with your guidance.
I am a beginning quilter, I’ve only made three. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have trouble holding down my ruler when I cut. Thanks for showing that I can use a hand weight to assure my ruler does not wiggle when I cut !

I giggled when you eyeballed getting to the center when sewing the side pieces, you realize most of us were stopping and folding the pieces to find the center and finger pressing! I would not ever have the confidence to 👀ball anything, but I sure enjoy watching you do it ✂️✂️😘😘, gorgeous quilt, thank you for sharing!
