I feel the 3 big cherries on the plate would be a great display decor feature in a large kitchen & perfect for a liquor bar. Somebody would love that because it's unusual. 😊
Those cherries would be great in a home of someone who loves a mix of contemporary/ pin up 50’s style. Super unique
On the beaded pillow and other items that are mold spotted, often you can use Folex carpet cleaner to eliminate the stain and break the mold spores that may remain. Test an area first, but I have used it for years on anything and everything fabric like clothing, linens, plush etc. owned a residential and corporate cleaning company for 20 years and was an estate liquidator for many of those years also. There was rarely an item we ran into that this didn't work on.
Folex carpet cleaner or spot remover? Can it be used on yellowed bed pillows?
@@mariaroldan4200 the carpet cleaner! Test an area first, especially on valuable or very old pieces that were possibly dyed with vegetable dyes. And yes, I use on all kinds of bed linens, etc.
Thank you I just bought some.
Cool tip!
What a great tip!!! Thank you!
May I ask if you use it as a spot cleaner and then toss it into the wash after having done so or do you just spot clean with it?
Also, is this the “Instant” cleaner?
Thanks so much!
Who would want these cherries? "Raising hand" They'd be such a cute photo prop or kitchen table centerpiece. PS I LOVE selling games too, just sold a 1967 The Newlywed Game for $50! Def. vintage tv show games sell like hotcakes for me. Have a wonderful vacay Karen and thanks as always ; )
You should have merchandise with " We Love a Good...cat, pig, horse...etc. something like that. You are so cute in your sayings!
I love that kitchen table. Gorgeous!
Ok Karen I am new to your channel and old to thrifting but your business sense is mindblowing! When I saw your store I could not believe the skill and talent. I love to see women succeed in business. Congratulations
I’m laughing to myself as Roger walks up with a handful of clothing and NO shopping cart…..so guy like😀. And then you make your comment about him using your cart; I loved it. And great eye from Roger for the Longaberger curtains. I didn’t even know they made linens.
The owl print is from Home Interior home parties in the 80’s, I believe. I had one and eventually passed it on. It’s called Dad and Little Henry.
We had that owl art in the 70’s
My Folks had the owls in our family room growing up in the 70's. The picture is called, 'Henry and his Dad'.
I have the matching lady golfer! They were originally a pair but she obviously ditched her husband. Funny how he has ended up in your neighbourhood! LOL
You two are the greatest couple. Can't believe you met a fellow thrifter:)
Hi Karen! I think the white dolphins on driftwood is a John Perry sculpture! Very collectible. I've sold several 😊
Hi, Karen, you love the cherries because they are red, red sells, especially if it's food related or imitation of food.
Bottle Stopper: sometimes I pull out and list only the cut glass or lead Crystal stopper, when the bottle is damaged. Replacement stoppers can do almost as well as a decanter and it’s less expensive (usually First Class) and easier to ship the stopper by itself, then with a large bottle or decanter.
Very true! I personally have purchased many stoppers for decanters I’ve bought missing theirs. I’ve bought them in all different colors & have quite a collection:)
@@LindaKayHolevas I've found the key, to stoppers is accurately measuring the taper and diameters, so folks can tell from the listing if the one you're offering will likely be a good fit.
@@LindaKayHolevas great idea! It adds a lot to a decanter if it's all together like that and I'm sure that you can command a higher price if it has a stopper with it.
We had that owl picture in my house in the 70s😍
I did too! It's from Home Interiors. I seem them quite often.
The dolphin sculpture isa John Perry. i think your hand may have covered up the name. Always a good pickup. Real wood.
When my husband and I go shopping together and we separate, we just call each other on our cell phones when we are ready to go home. Hope you are having a great vacation! Waiting for your new listings!
I think the two little kittens on chain would have came with a Mama kitty to complete the set. See if you spot her next time you go!
Cast Statue: Bronze is good, but a lot of bronze looking statues (especially the re-pops) are made from spelter, which is a much cheaper zinc-lead alloy metal. It ages to resemble bronze, but is softer and has a lower melting point, which is why it was originally used, being easier to cast. You can still find really old original spelter statues, that date back to the 1800s and those do have value.
Karen, I just love you and your videos. I am so sad, living in Dayton, Ohio, that our Goodwills Suck! They have redone all the stores to make them look fancy, but all they offer now are low quality items and when I find something that I might like the price is outrageous! I have shopped at these stores for so, so many years and now I may not anymore. Have a wonderful trip!
I just opened this up and saw the title and just want to tell you before I watch this it doesn’t have anything to do with Lock. You are probably the hardest working reseller on RUclips. You are to be commended. You are a true example of how hard work and diligence pays off in the great thing about it is you have such a great attitude about what you’re doing it’s so much fun for you and you are really truly living the dream. Congratulations. You are an inspiration to many..
My parents had that exact Owl picture in the 70's!!!
ONE HUNDRED pieces of clothing PER WEEK!? Oh Karen, I bow to you! Enjoy your vacation!!

I would display 3 cherries on a plate with no purpose at all!
I love stuff like that. 🍒💗
Same here 😂
I like things that serve no purpose😂
Those sold barstools would look great painted a bright color and reupholstered with an interesting printed fabric.
You two are so sweet together! Thank you for sharing your sourcing adventures with us!❤
Those huge cherries look expensive online! Weird but pricey!
I had that Richard Screech Owl print when I first got married in 1978! It was hugely popular. I found one in a thrift store recently and almost bought it, but it was too faded. Awesome vintage 70’s piece !❤
I was at Liberty awhile awhile ago. When I'm there everything is so high. I did get an antique humidor smoking table for myself. It had a $40 sticker over a $25 tag. I asked about it. They gave it to me for $20 PLUS $5 off senior discount! I saw a pair of high end men's shoes. I asked about the price because I didn't know the price was marked on the bottom because it said 40. The price WAS $40....lol. Happy Vacation to you Karen.
I want those crazy cherries- I’m in PA and May need to go check
Them
Out 😂
Roger is a KEEPER!!! So happy you found him Karen!!
Ah I loved the Holly Hobbie plaque!!
I actually have a male (manly man) friend who loves Holly Hobby plaques! He actually has his kitchen decorated with them. I love that he doesn’t care what people think, they remind him of his little sister so he collects away. He definitely would’ve bought that one from Karen!
I did too but this rude lady assumes no one wants it. 🤷🏻♀️
"MEMORIES"...... but I'd leave it there, as a consumer.
I think it would sell....lotsa people love remembering great happier times, especially nowadays!!!
The solds are very low on eBay. I loved it too.
My husband picks up certified international items pretty often for resale. we have started calling him Timmydishes. 😆
I had the Owl print in the 70’s. It came from Home Interiors, a company like Tupperware that did home parties.
I just made a comment about having that and now I’m thinking I might have sold home interiors at some point. Totally forgot about that!
my mom had that owl on her wall back in the 80s
Your organization abilities are inspiring. I can’t believe you accomplish so much all on your own. The ability to break up your day with various tasks is something I lack. My point? I can do better. You’ve inspired me. 😊 the eclectic items you choose are fun and often a surprise. Used to live on Long Island, ah! That explains the east coast accent. Oh the signed wooden tray so beautiful.
you can do it write out a schedule the night before and then do it for a month, you will be amazed at what you can get done.
She has help so she’s not alone
I love the Cow, Pig, Chicken figurine...I would have bought that :)
Owl picture is a home interior from late 70's home parties
Enjoy your videos. Binge watching.
I would’ve bought that chalk from you in a heartbeat! I never find things like that!!! Someday. 🤞🏻
Owl picture was from Home Interiors and was called Dad and Little Henry. We had that one growing up in 1970’s and 80’s.
When I lived near PA in DE could not believe how good the picking was!
Great finds Karen!! Oh and that signed wooden tray… gorgeous!🙌🏻 Can’t imagine what it looks like in person!😃
Enjoyable video! I'm happy that you are taking some time to relax and enjoy some warmer weather! Looking forward to your next video.
You and Roger are so cute!
The owls…Dad and little Henry….by home interiors…
1:08 we had that owl art when I was growing up
Also nice glass cake plate at 4:50!
That Owl in your cart was in our home for years
We had the owl plaque in our home for around 10 years. I’m thinking from around 1975-85. Fond memories!
Cast Metal Bowl Holder could also take a glass or metal sphere, such as decorative glass paperweight. Doesn’t have to be a bowl, could be a little gazing ball.
Your Goodwills look like gift shops! Ours look like the city dump!
Hello, I just watched your video and I’m commenting on the table with claw feet you saw at Liberty thrift store. It was not Burlwood. Burlwood has more of a swirl with lighter and darker toned mixed in with one another. The wood is very unique and once you really have seen it, you’ll never mistaken other would again.
Love the chicken cookie jar too!
Thank you for this great video👍💞
The wood tray is stunning!
Great haul. That tray is lovely!😊
Love the dark nails this season! 😍
It is so sweet of you to offer going thrifting with us ❤
Love LOVE the cherries!!!
I believe the owl picture is Home Interiors from 40 years ago. I was a seller for Home Interiors at that time. Nancy Salem
Happy new year Karen. Thanks for the video. Nice group of things !!
Amazing finds in Shillington!
Roger found good items....nice video!
You and Roger are so cute together! So happy you found each other! Enjoy your vacation!
You always pack so much into your videos! Thank you so much!!
Don't ever change. Your commentary is hysterical. You have a great sense of humor. Lori
Love her commentary!! It is hysterical at times! I had the privilege of meeting her at Flipcon (reseller convention) and she is the same sweet person as we see on RUclips!
Making Roger blush...must be a keeper! Stay blessed❤
I love watching the exchange between you and Roger, and his smile for you is so sweet. Happy New Year and enjoy your well earned vacation!
I've been finding those shelf sitting bunnies too, they remind of the 90s. Great finds today 👏
Those crazy, expensive cherries! At least if they are what I just saw being currently sold online. GIRALAU currently sells red (black too) cherries in multiple sizes, prices at approx. 60-80 each, and the trays have that indented curved shape - seem the same, except for colors ( black, gold or white).
Best part for me (aside for ❤all your interactions with Roger ❤) was asking the two kitties 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ on a chain if they wanted to come home with you - the best!💘
You and Roger are the best. I love watching your videos and all your knowledge!
Thank you and have fun on Vacay!! 💃💃
I have learned so much from you thank you for sharing. Love the portrait art, the media is actually pastels.
I just picked up the same owl print!! 🦉 Hello Karen!!
Just wanted to say how pretty you look today 😊
The lovely, green & purple, scalloped art glass vase is actually a teleflora piece. I picked one up a few years ago. A shocker because it looks like a one-of-a-kind piece! Beautiful just the same!
Some Teleflora pieces are really quite attractive and seem to be coming into their own. I predict that they'll become more desirable and collected as time passes.
My mother had the owl print in the beginning for years. My son has it now.🥰
Another fun video! I love that you sell all kinds of things Karen. I really wasn't surprised that you came from Long island. I'm from CT and I was pretty sure you weren't originally from PA. I definitely thought I heard a bit of a New York accent. 😊 BTW, you have a very gentle, soothing voice. It makes your videos even more enjoyable.
I love the beaded cushion. I know you don’t have time to re-fabric the back, but someone might like it well enough to ignore the staining or replace the back fabric.
Plus, Pier one, is a throwback from the past ❤️
Pier 1 is still open here in Weatherford, TX. I don’t know how as their prices have always been high, hardly ever has a sale, low traffic into the store and a bad location at the end of a strip mall next to Penny’s and the have hardly any traffic. 🤷♀️
HAPPY NEW YEAR Karen ; ) wishing you every success and happiness. PS i love watching Mellissa and Bare.
Wood tray♥️♥️♥️🐱🐱
Liberty Thrift looks like a great store.
New to your channel.Just love it.I am also a thrifter or antiquer. It is the most relaxing way to shop.Looking forward to more.x
OH, the owls! Love!
Karen, your comment is so funny. I drove through PA on my way back to VT last week and made a point of stopping for a rest break at the Schillington Goodwill, hoping i would see you. I hung out there looking around, found some nice clothing and other cool stuff, but did not see you....oh, well. The store was full of happy shoppers. Now I see this and see what i may have missed! Your videos are fun to watch.
Store looks great.....nothing like that in Florida!!
I'm sooooo jealous.......but I'd be more cluttered and broke!! 😉
THAT TRAY!!! Lucky! 🙂
My mom actually had that owl portrait when I was growing up. In the 80’s.
Yay! So glad you snagged that Murano bowl. :) Happy vacation, Karen!
Agree - peer pressure CAN be a good thing..
You have helped me see value in things that I would have normally passed by.
31:57 just when you find the rainbow 🌈 my favorite song plays in the background❤ wonderful shopping trip, sweet Roger, gorgeous wood tray🙏🏻blessings on you, friend💜
So enjoy your channel. It relaxes and inspires me! I love that you and Roger found each other because you have the same interests!
The Owls are "Dad and Little Henry". - Home Interiors, about 1972.
Karen I went to Goodwill today to try to get some items to sell. I sold things last year but I really want to do more this year. I have binge watched your videos for about a month or so now and have picked up many tips. Today thanks to you saying how you can feel by hand the value in leather and clothing material, I scored a designer B. Makowsky purse… it felt like “Budda”!! I think I will clear a very good profit on it! Keep the videos coming! 😃
Oh, I loved the three Christmas ornaments .and the three shelf sitters, but I would have probably passed them by also.
I love the Screech Owls piece...If I found that it would be hard to part with ;) Its from the 60's by Richard Hinger and would fetch 50-60 on etsy, Love your channel enjoy your vacay!!!
I had the owl picture in the 60 !
Magazine racks make great storage for bakeware storage
I just love following along with your videos! I always look forward to a new one. Ya know, I'd be curious to see Roger's inventory set up! I'm sure I'm not the only one interested right!?
that tray signed wow I would push u out of the way to get that,, hahaha
Have a wonderful R & R! 🏖🏝
