The teal/turquoise color on the inside of the larger pottery bowl is generally referred to as the "glaze" (and not "paint"). Vessels, containers, and various wares are almost exclusively "glazed," although some may be "underpainted" with various patterns and designs using an "underglaze" and then clear glaze is applied over them. When you are looking at porcelain/pottery figurines, the faces, as well as other details, are always "underpainted" with underglaze colors and a clear glaze on top, except for those ceramics that are "cold painted"--but that's a whole other category for another day!
I bow hunt. I shoot Easton Carbon Express arrows and buy them unfletched (without feathers). I fletch my own. (Put my own feathers on them). So yes people would buy these. Especially around bow season. Sometimes arrows are lost or damaged. I save my best ones for hunting and practice with arrows of lesser value. And yes it's a quiver. Not being a no it all, just sharing what I know. Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh, the Bread of Life with scripture cards brings back SO many memories. My sweet grandparents had one on their kitchen table forever. They read a card each morning before their little devotional, as my granddad called it. Our family spent nearly every Thanksgiving at their house, 50+ years. They are no longer here to carry on that tradition, being gone about 5 years. THANK you so much for sharing your memories as well. Y'all have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving💙
Karen, just a tip! take a heavy flat sheet or big beach towel and line your shopping cart to keep your glass things from vibrating and chipping. Jessie
2nd comment, lol- at 19:53, while you were going through your cart, there was a pink and white polkadotted Drowsy doll on the shelf. If it’s one of the older ones (late 60’s & 70’s), they can go for decent money. I know this because she was my favorite doll when I was young (I was born in 1964), & I’ve been looking to buy one. Some have sold for over $100! In 2000, there was a remake of the Drowsy doll & these are selling for as high as $145 (not listed, but sold). Anyway, just thought I’d share some random doll info, lol
My grandmother had a Bread of Life like that one & I remember reading those scriptures. I also remember I made up a game while playing with it. I would ask God a question, then pick a scripture & see if it in any way answered my question...lol. I guess in a way, I created a Magic 8 Ball out of it before those became a thing.😂😂 A couple years ago, I found one at a thrift store & bought it. Even though it isn't the one my grandmother had, I treasure the memories associated with it.
I just cannot BELIEVE that people actually put that kind of thing (dishes in this case) in the garbage pickup... I usually donate good usable things, like dishes, towels, etc. to either the Salvation Army, Goodwill, or to my local County Family Aid Center. The staff at CFAC is always grateful and happy to receive these donations which will go to families in need. Wishing you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving!
I got a credit card reader form a high end linen store in my town, it was on top of the lid, not inside. I was taking a short cut through an alley. I listed it and sold pretty quickly for 75 dollars, “as is”. 😂
I hope you and Roger have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I enjoy your videos so much. I appreciate all of the knowledge you share. You're such a sweet, gracious, and lovely lady! Thank you, Melanie ❤
I purchased the Pig statue from you last week. It arrived today and I love it!! I actually saw your video where you pulled it for shipping. Thanks very much!!❤
Hi Karen. I watch your videos all the time and really enjoy them. You've taught me a lot! I am commenting because I think you missed a Glassy Baby candle holder on the clear glass aisle just after you picked up the puppy dog. It was on the middle shelf and was gold or amber in colour. I found one here in British Columbia, Canada, at a garage sale for $2 and I sold it for $100!
Karen- I would love to see more of your listing processes. 100 items photo’ed in one day! Wow that’s amazing. Also do you have any templates set up? You seem to spend lots of times thrifting- how do you get it all done?
The Clock key was worth Goodwill’s asking price and then you could part out and sell the other loose parts, like the pendulum. Clock weights also sell, when you find them.
Karen, craft people like me , buy clocks like you put back for decor projects. Also vintage paper goods, books and stationary finds. Just an FYI to keep us crafters in mind, might not be a big money maker for you but lots of other elderly and house bound crafters would love a chance at some PA vintage items. L😅ve your & R😅gers videos. Sandie from Texas.
We have a funeral home........the cross you picked up goes on top of a casket for Catholic services. You can see where the stickers were on the back of the cross. =) Happy Thanksgiving to you and Roger!!
Nice box of wrap from Monkey Wards. I love the old box it is in also. Yep - Found at Goodwill, from back in the day, just like you both. lol It is a wonder you can find anything in that store. The shelves are heaving and so disorganized.
It’s amazing the size of the Goodwill stores throughout the states. I wish the Fairfield County, CT stores had the selection other states have. If you are an eBay seller in Fairfield County, CT you would be starving. Everything is about the amount of square footage of affordable commercial space - less space rents that would choke an elephant.
Happy Thanksgiving from Australia 🦘🌏 your living room is beautiful and it's lovely to see how you have styled some of the thrifted items. I wish our thrift stores had the variety that yours have!!
I love your home, I would love having my kitchen like that again. The cat was adorable !!! The arrows I remember using some with a bag like that, absolutely love them. That candle/ wine glass, I believe is a floating candle holder. Great find with the vintage wrapping paper / bows, I think my mom or someone had that style box in the 70's. I wish I had seen that clock it's so cool, the one piece is the tandem it should have had a hook on the back to hang it. That Bread of Life, I grew up with one in our life as well, we did the same thing, I always love that. What goodwill is that as the prices are great?

Thank you for commenting. I love learning something new every day!
That puppy dog toothpick holder would make a great succulent planter.
That cat could live by a fireplace or really anywhere else in your house, on a table or on the floor.😸
Please HANG the gorgeous painting. It's YOURS! You love it and we do too... a little color never hurt anyone ❤❤❤
My thoughts exactly! That painting would be lovely right on the wall it's leaning against.

My grandmother had a bread of life scripture set when i was a little girl.
❤😊
Yup we had the scripture cards as well. Loved then too 🥰
Karen, just a tip! take a heavy flat sheet or big beach towel and line your shopping cart to keep your glass things from vibrating and chipping. Jessie
I remember my grandparents reading the scriptures cards from their bread loaf before each meal in the early ‘60’s. Good memories.
The Aigner leather line is pronounced "AHN-yay" with emphasis on the first syllable. I was middle aged before I knew this!!! ☺️
Hi Karen thanks for taking us along with you lv Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
That metal cat is everything. I don't think there's gonna be a problem if you pick ground advantage for that cat.
I do think that you should have bought the cats as if you weren't going to use it in your own yard it would have sold very well
Tony Lama boots are hand made, hand pegged with a steel shank. Great boots. My fav.
Newel Post Cap is what I believe you were thinking of. Often a ball or an acorn shape.
Awesome parents who helped put the Word of God in your hearts and heads at dinner time. Bread of Life 💖🙌

Put some of your Shiny Brites in the primitive bowl. Lovely decor Karen! Happy Thanksgiving from Kentucky!

yes,,,those bread of life loafs were part of a lot of families households!!! Great find!

I love how you speak in keywords about items. You give my reseller spirit a lift. 😊💕

I love when you’ll shop together. The wrapping paper was a fine, also the boots.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Roger! I am thankful for many things, you are included! I love your channel. Do we love a good chicken, yes we do!
That kitchen towel rack would be perfect to hang homemade pasta on 🤩
My brain is full, too!
We had a Bread of Life! I still have the cards but not the holder. I would love to have that. 😇🤩
I hope you and Roger have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I enjoy your videos so much. I appreciate all of the knowledge you share. You're such a sweet, gracious, and lovely lady! Thank you, Melanie ❤
That cat would not withstand the weather if put in a garden. Add some red colored bows or more red ornaments on that Christmas tree.
Just crazy they won't reprice stuff for people. It has to be repriced at some point...why lose a sale??
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Roger. We have a lot to be grateful for. Thank you for the video. ❤
Love your videos! Happy Holidays! I’ve been selling on FB Marketplace for years and I finally took the leap to start selling on eBay this week! 🎉

Happy Thanksgiving Karen and Roger and family. God bless you all. Great Video girlfriend.
Hi Karen, I bought one of those fancy glass teapots and you have to watch because sometimes the water goes into handle and heats it up!
Good to know!

I love to shop along with you and Roger! You have all kinds of stuff in your cart, definitely Random ! LOL
Those big wood things you thought were curtain rod finials are bed post corbels like for a poster bed.
Love that wrapping paper!! Your good wills are so much better than ours! In Cleveland!!
I would buy the cat!
Hey Karen, the top of the stair railing that looks similar is called a newel post. 💕 but that looks like a drapery rod finial as you said.
The weird green bowl would look pretty with limes or lemons.
Hi Karen, I think your bowl is E&R Italian Royal Crown.
Your tree would look great with a box of those shiny brite ornaments!
Happy Thanksgiving to you both. It’s hard to buy a chicken and not say “bawk, bawk”!! Thanks for making me laugh. Carrie in Nova Scotia.
The Clock key was worth Goodwill’s asking price and then you could part out and sell the other loose parts, like the pendulum. Clock weights also sell, when you find them.
I have my mom's scripture box.
Boot hit them with warm hair dryer and a cloth them stuff them while they are warm.

I think that the flowers on the yellow box might be daffodils; thus the green interior 🤔
My Grandmother had the Bread of Life as well!!!
We have a funeral home........the cross you picked up goes on top of a casket for Catholic services. You can see where the stickers were on the back of the cross. =) Happy Thanksgiving to you and Roger!!
Finial hun. For the stairs or fences.😊❤and huggs to you both
I don't have to have 2 of candlesticks or whatever. Mix media is pretty😊
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Roger!
Happy Thanksgiving May your day be filled with joy.
Beautiful Italian bowl, it could be used for a million different uses.
they have codes written in red grease pencil for ornaments they must have standard price by the book in the back like 1.99 then fancy 2.99
Nice box of wrap from Monkey Wards. I love the old box it is in also.
Yep - Found at Goodwill, from back in the day, just like you both. lol
It is a wonder you can find anything in that store. The shelves are heaving and so disorganized.
Wishing you and Roger a Happy Thanksgiving!! Love the Chanel and can't wait for the notification to go off for next one!!
The cat is awesome!
Clear glass, even crystal is not bringing the money that it once did.
