- In this episode, I'm going to take you to FOUR thrift stores in search of thrifted home decor finds to resale! My mom, Carma, and I head out in search for beautiful home decor finds that we can sell, only to have to cut our shopping spree short. My mom wasn't feeling well, so we stopped at just two stores. A few days later, however, a Facebook Marketplace purchase would get me back out there searching for more home decor finds! Am I the only person who is amazed, week after week, by how awesome the thrift stores are near Sherry? I would be overjoyed to find a fraction of the amazing things they find!

I can’t compare to your mom, but I have suffered from double sciatica for two months. My friend is liquidating everything in her humongous thrift store. I went a week ago with a cane and I was in so much pain I could not even think. I got a few things and left. I’ve been back twice since and scored some great items. They sold the property that her husband’s transmission shop is on in the back is a humongous building full of stuff everything from measuring spoons, two jackets, beautiful furniture, beautiful glassware, antiques, vintage, scrapbooking, sewing, you name it it’s there. She even has a vintage singer sewing machine. CDs DVDs, VCR tapes. It just goes on and on. But that day I was not into it.
You can really tell your mom doesn’t feel well bless her heart❤️

Kelly, I'm sorry your mom was hurting. I understand problems with legs. Have had issues with mine for YEEEEAAAARS!!!! And I hope that Cuisinart works well for you. I remember some time back, when Debbie was showing her house, she listed the things she would NEVER BUY USED, and APPLAINCES OF ANY KIND WAS ONE OF THEM!!! I never forgot that!!!! Way to go mom! Love that you pushed through the pain to thrift!! I also have Lupus and 2 other autoimmune related diseases. You are truly an inspiration. I think I mentioned this before but just in case I haven’t, A mobility scooter makes all the difference when you’re having a tougher day but still want to get out and about. I love mine and I have painted and added transfers to make it fun. The only thing that I regret about it is that I did not get it sooner. I have been able to do so much more and participate in so many more outings. I thought I would feel self-conscious about using it but it has been just the opposite. I love it I get to go out and about even on my not so good days and I get nothing but compliments and smiles when I use it. 😁Missed and praying for you Debbi🙏🏼Kelly you have the best friends and family. Always love shopping with you guys😄

Okay! I am just so jealous! Your stores have so much cool stuff. Ours are horrible in comparison. The prices in this video are higher, but not if you were buying for yourself, which is what I do.

I think these stores should have a shelf for things half off that has chips, cracks and anything else wrong with them because people will not buy them unless they are a low price. Some things can be used for crafting other projects.

I picked up a shelf with the hooks on it! I painted my JRV logo on it and plan to put it in my booth with my JRV items i sell; stencils hanging from the bottom and my decoupage papers hanging in sleeves feom the bottom! 😎

Thr blue transferware set is Currier and Ives. My grandmother left me her entire set of 20 plus all the additional serving pieces. One dinner plate is 15.00 on Replacements and the casserole dish goes for 89.99 and the sugar and creamer are 40 each so 84.00 for the set is a steal.

I used to own that exact rooster chalkboard ( it broke) and I thrifted that same $22.00 years ago, I also own the galvanized cake plate from HL.
Oh my stars the animal heads are wonderful! Oh my I have a similar galvanized clock scale and the shelf with the hooks too!

Those bunt pans could also be used as a tree skirt for a small tree.. already has a hole to put it through.. paint it up in a Christmas colour.
Good evening Kelly. If your mother is a coffee drinker ask her to do some research on mushroom coffee. You can add your own cream to it but it's supposed to help with a lot of things especially energy. Love your videos 🙋🙋🙋

Some of those prices were insane. That is what is so upsetting about thrift stores these days they just want way too much for this stuff that was donated to them. There really are people out there who need to shop here but they can’t because it’s to much. Sad ❤❤❤

Yep, Thursdays with Sherry! It seems all the thrift stores are getting crazy with their prices. I just say to myself (or to other shoppers) are the people doing the pricing on drugs?? And it’s even worse when week after week they don’t sell.

You put batteries in it and it's for essential oils.Like I use mine.Put peppermint oil in it.They say peppermint oil keeps the mice away and it actually does.I split it around my door jams coming from the garage and yeah, I don't have mice coming in anymore.So yeah, that's it where you put the essential oils.And it has a battery and instead of a electric cord , unless the cord is not with it
OMG! Went to my Goodwill and found outrageous prices. Fenton for $60, a broken Lladro for $65 , milk glass for $60 and carnival glass for $40. Now, all were very nice pieces, but the pricing was ridiculous.
