Truly one of the greatest bands the USA has ever produced. On par with anything coming out of the 1960s & 1970s. Anything. If you’ve never seen them, go. You will be floored. The talent on that stage is utterly insane.
The talent isn't just on the stage. Their light people are excellent, and their sound person is a master. Saw them for the first time tonight, and I can't remember the last time I saw a band that SOUNDED so perfect. Every instrument was clear and balanced, no oppressive over-emphasis on lows, and my God, the guitars. What a spectacular wall of sound.
@@user-fi7ju4nj9b Yeah man. That's for sure. They've been at this a long long time and have their sound dialed in perfectly. I've seen them too many times to count & I've never been at a venue where they didn't sound bang on. I'm seeing them tonight & am looking forward to it.
@@bullmoosepiper7732saw them first in 2007 on Skynyrd's Simpleman Cruise and countless times since. It's been one hell of a ride knowing these guys and watching their success. In 2007 I saw 4 long hairs that looked and sounded like they followed me out of the 70s. The talent was obvious.
Modern Day Southern Rock reminds me of the Group called The Band from the 1960's. I believe the drummer Brit of BBS will forever be Rocking out. Always be with us in spirit ❤️ Brit
I'm 67 years old. I like real country and real rock and roll. Always looking for a new band"to me" I heard them on SXF Outlaw country station. Thought I'd listen to an album of theirs. I'm hooked. What a band.
I really like this band it is one of the most versatile bands to come along from there originals to everything they cover its just great stuff would really love to see them live
❤❤ 1 of My FAVORITES! TOM PETTY PASSED AWAY WHEN I WAS 43 LISTEN TO HIM FOR 40 YEARS THAT I REMEMBER ! 😢 HAD A CHANCE TO SEE HIM BUT MY BUT MY EX MESSED THAT UP PROBABLY WHY I'M SINGLE NOW😊
Sorry you missed him. I saw Tom live at Jones Beach @ 1981, he was so happy that he was getting these huge sold out shows with roaring fans. He couldn't wipe the smile from his face in amazement. He was celebrating with us.
They also did Don't Come Around Here as a part of Sleeping Dogs for the Portland Maine show in July 22nd, but I didn't get a video of it. I love how Charlie sings it...it fits so well with SD. Thanks for sharing!
With good reason, too, because part of that blessing can relate to what Tom Petty did for bands when he stood his ground in a legal dispute over costs with the Record Company back in the 70’s. The company suits eventually backed down giving the band more say in their own business. So, yes, God Bless Tom Petty 💙
I love this band. Their music is from their heart. Their covers are from the best of the best TPATHB. I find it a great thing when bands cover their heros
Re-watching: just watching Charlie's eyes; he's intent, he's so into what he's playing; he grins (sheepishly ha!) when the crowd don't quite hit the LOW ay ya. They're loving playing for us; loving playing together; loving the crowd. When will Blackberry Smoke be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? (If I missed it, let me know). What pure unadulterated joy to watch the Smoke. Linda
