Need to tell a story about how much of a gentleman AC Green is, about 4 maybe 5 years ago, AC Green was a commentator for the LA Defenders. We were at the game early, we see AC and we ask him politely for a picture with my son. He kindly says that he is preparing his notes for the game but he'll come back later. About 20 minutes go by I see AC come walking towards us, and we were sitting in the last row of the Lakers practice facility in El Segundo. He walks up to the last row where we're sitting and he says, ok, we can take that picture now, and he signed my son's ball. I'll never forget that, cause I thought that was so classy of him what he did. Awesome guy AC Green. This was the year before Alex Caruso joined the Lakers.
I interviewed a Major League Baseball player in 03.Mike Matheny of St. Louis Cardinals. He said I got to warm up. Yet he came over and answered all my questions local angle and all pre game in Cincinnati. Great guy. A long time TV and radio reporter said these athletes like their routines!
Godly & classy guy of all NBA players. The Lakers were blessed to have him. Met him in the Philippines in the 80's. Enjoyed this episode. ---Lito Badiola.
AC doesn’t drink so that was thoughtful of B not to have alcohol on the table. Could of had a picture of water though.
I’ve always admired AC. I love all of these behind the scenes stories. 10 stars!
17:18 “somebody find that tooth for me if you can but I’m throwing punches” 😂😂😂😂😂 bro Byron Scott had me dead these two are so funny
That playing streak will not be broken in this era
Mr. Green..... I hope you see this - I lived in Bloss Hall at OSU back when Ralph would made you run the practice. I remember when you and Detlef Shrimpf played a full court 1v1 game - Epic...... You are one of my heroes'. Strong.... Spiritual. Just an effing solid man........
Regards - Rei
Awsome, good to see the great AC Green. Greetings from México
growing up, i was lucky to see 2 ironmen in action - AC Green and Cal Ripken!
Great job “B” on getting AC he was awesome player, but even more better person. Keep it coming and definitely been a pleasure watching this episode’s on RUclips. 💪
Let’s get more subs here. This is a GREAT podcast. B gives his guest the space and confidence to tell their stories. Wonderful show.
AC Green was PIVOTAL in the 1988 NBA Finals. He led all players in rebounds which was HUGE for that series
Another excellent interview!
What an awesome role model..
Great interview! AC is and has always been a stand-up guy. He has stayed true to himself and in his Christian walk. He's a breath of fresh air.
AC GREEN. Needs to mentor these players today because he was a Iron man when he played. He could teach these players today about Mental Toughness
Love the podcast B-Scott 👍🙌🙏
Love the Byron Scott Podcast! Breath of fresh air! You can actually understand what Byron and his guess are saying. 🙏🍻👍 Nuff respec B Scott❤️❤️❤️🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
The day I realized work was important was my mother who took care of our family of 5 by peeling onions by hitting the onion with high powered forced air . She left at 5 am and didn't miss. I was amazed by her strength. So I went to work to help her
A.C Green, The REAL IRON MAN... today's players should look up to him and see what a True player is. Not No Load management b.s....
The Showtime greats! I'm watching all their platforms.
This is my favorite interview so far 🙌
One of my all time favorite LAKERS
Great interview, awesome memories of Showtime basketball.
is this October or April 1? I thought it was an April fools joke that the Cal Ripiken Jr of Basketball would be afraid of the flu! Glad it wasn't true. I love AC Green for so many many reasons... thank you B Scott.
Hope Scott interviews Magic, Silk McAdoo and Rambis
If someone plays 16yrs NBA and misses just 3 games, he is definitely a HOFer regardless of PPG, RPG,...
Love from Phoenix A.C.!!!
This guy grew up in Oregon that is my favorite state. It's different especially if u are from the South. I don't hate the South but I like the North West United States.
Aw this is nice.
Lets go showtime
Wow I want to be AC in Science. I'm an educator I grew up playing Basketball and Football
💕💕💕💕💕💕
I'd take AC Green over Draymond green any day.
😂😅
Coop falling in love with your spirit
💜💛💜💛🎊🎊🎊👑👑👑🎊🎊🎊💯💯💯👌🏾👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
AC was good. Yet Lakers got even better when they got Mychal Thompson
Green was a champion 🏆 on and off the court
Masks 😷 don't work
Great story about Arizona State vs Oregon State. Remember those games Arizona State played against Ohio State in early 80s. Amazing Buckeyes won 1 of them.
You mean LeBron James doesn't have that record 20 years........wow. is that a player or what the best ability is availability
