i just rewatched Super Bowl 18 on Jan. 22, 2024 - The 40th Anniversary. I still get chills every time I see 17 Bob Trey O taken "to the house." Thank you Marcus!

Great show B, i remember in the mid 80's in California that Marcus Allen was on the same level of a super star as Magic Johnson. Thats how big and great he was.

Definitely the best all around running back in NFL history. He was the best player on the Raiders and Al Davis hated Marcus because he got more attention than Al and refused to even allow the coaches to play him at all at times. Wins Super Bowl MVP his second year in the league, so let's make him a fullback or sit him. Incredible.

I've already was a huge fan of 32 and now even more. He just did more with the tools and talents God gave him. Big respect for the way 32 handled the last years with the Raiders.

Marcus I hated to, my father was a raider guy and I was a viking guy. You were class.

I think Marcus, could have done anything he put his mind to. I always appreciated his ability to not let's others compromise his personal values. It's easy to go with the flow . What is hard , is to tell people what you they don't want to hear and stick to those values .

A lot of lessons can be learned from his story in the beginning about becoming a quarterback in high school. Also, wisdom about being grateful for having good parents. Great interview!!

Marcus allen was robbed of at least 3 yrs of prime production... 3,600 k rushing yards & 36 rushing tds not to mention the numerous all purpose yards left on the table. A all pro running back who played fb undersized...think about that. This man could do it all & was a class act of dignity & confidence.
Why the 49ers didnt trade for him is beyond me

Because Al Davis refused to trade him to SF
