Chappelle is unique among comedians, recognizable with a single word, and tells a story like no other. The man is brilliant, funny, and teaches serious life lessons.
I honestly think Mr. Chapelle is the highest calibre comedian alive today.

Dave is the goat because he’s the best story teller I’ve ever seen.
This dude consistently puts on a comedic masterclass. Truly the greatest to ever do it, even after a decade removed from the game.
Dave doesn’t tell Jokes anymore! He is simply one of the best storytellers we have in this day and age. The man can mix lots of bitter truths with a little humor and then BOOM!!!!

I've said it before in other forums - Dave Chapelle truly is a master at his craft. Keenly honed from years of blood, sweat, and tears!
That Daphne story knocked me on all fours, I did not see any of that coming. That was one of the greatest story reads I’ve ever heard, just soul crushing but pure masterclass. And funny too, just like Daphne would have wanted.
How his voice and mannerisms have changed over nearly 15 years is amazing ❤

The Daphne story was new to me, and it really made me see Dave with more respect. I knew he wasn't really a transphobe, but that story showed how deeply he really cared about his friend. I hope the world can recognize the respect he has for everyone, so they can see how it's the basis for every one of his jokes.
😅just wow. The story of Daphne always gets me even though I've listened multiple times. The truth of the story is the strength of human connection. God's speed and thank you Dave for your bravery to tell it.
