Original lineup Queensryche is my all time favorite band, and has been for almost four decades now. Queensryche is still going today, but only has two of the original band members in it now, Michael Wilton, guitar and Eddie Jackson, bass. This song was early in Queensryche's career with all 5 original members. Please listen to the five or so albums with the original members who are MAGIC together, and diverse in their songwriting! Must hear the whole of their 3rd full album, "Operation Mindcrime" ( with lyrics in front of you) which is a HIGHLY acclaimed concept album which tells one long, complicated story in flashback. Very intriguing, well-written lyrics, musically stunning, and intensly performed! And Geoff Tate's vocals simply have NO equal! In his prime, he had a 4 octave range. After the first two albums he started incorporating more of his lower range into his vocals. The studio and live versions of this album are amazing! They have SO many great songs, its hard to recommend just a couple. "Anybody Listening?" "One More Time Around" "Jet City Woman" "Another Rainy Night" "I Dream in Infrared" "The Killing Words" live MTV Unplugged 1992 "Silent Lucidity" "Real World" To get you started. You won't be disappointed! I enjoyed your reaction and comments, and hope you've gotten over that cold! That's definitely no fun! And YES, Queensryche music IS the medicine I need doses of every day! Hope you do more Queensryche reactions in the future!
Revolution Calling is my personal Queensryche favorite. The lyrics were written in the mid-80s, and they are just as relevant today. "I used to trust the media To tell me the truth, tell us the truth But now I've seen the payoffs Everywhere I look Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?"
geoff on his prime its amazing to see, please do more queensryche!!! anything from the operation mindcrime album is good, and all live performances of them are great!
"Jet City Woman" is an outstanding song by Queensryche, but always gets overlooked by the reaction channels. "Silent Lucidity" is one of their most popular tracks and the official music video is excellent.
Child of Fire is top song from them.. I dream in Infrared is great too... All of The Warning album is great. Im so glad i had a chance too see them live
I saw the Operation: Mindcrime tour early in like '88 or '89. To this day, it is the best concert I ever saw, and I've seen hundreds. This song was like the 3rd encore at that show. They played for nearly two hours. The next song you should check out is "The Lady Wore Black" from this same concert. Then move into Operation: Livecrime, which is the live show for the Mindcrime album (not to review, just for enjoyment). It's a gritty tale of politics and media that was predictive of today. Change a few words in the entire thing and it's NOW.
this performance you know you have to have your shit together to go to japan as early in their career 1984 probably been touring for 2 years when this happened so much raw talent the singer is Geoff Tate he's could do that everynight Queensryche is progressive rock and metal queensryche and metallica used to tour together
Angels PR says that I song like Geoff Tate AND Ray Alder, yet maintain my own unique (Holy) expression of the Soul, which provides the world with a Wholey expression. The name of both bands is Signs Of reigN and Veritas (which is sung by the Grace of our One True Father of Lights). If you check out Veritas, check out a song called "None Enslaved" and "Creation Groans" and "Somniloquy" and "Masquerade" in particular but... If you check out Veritas, listen to the entire album called "Silent Script" to hear the scroll (Book of Life) that was Sealed by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, in that Faithful and True Day of our Lord YesHuWaH (some know as Jesus Christ of Heaven). The deal was opened... The Final Judgement is here already.
Geoff has one of the Sweetest/Meanest male voices of all time regardless of type of music sung. He's the MAN!!!
Geoff does solo tours now and he still sounds amazing. My favorite vocalist EVER.

Operation Mindcrime is awesome!
Queensryche (last syllable sounds like "bike"). Geoff (British spelling of Jeff) Tate is the lead singer.
Revolution Calling is my personal Queensryche favorite. The lyrics were written in the mid-80s, and they are just as relevant today.

welcome to discovering one massively underrated metal band. Geoff Tate can still hit those high notes now also.
Please do Silent Lucidity it is there most popular song and about a little girls first nightmare. Beautiful song and was up for a grammy
Geoff Tate's voice is off the chain! "Silent Lucidity" is completely different but, such a beautiful song.

James my man!! 💪💪
Big Pete !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Queen of the reich from the same show is more of a speed metal song if you want to hear that
do 'queen of the reich'
one of their first songs and nobody seems to react to it, but its my favorite
First! Hey there James! 🫶🏼
Queen of the ryche is another good one for Geoff tates vocal range
Start with their original LP. Tate has the greatest voice. The band is epic
Mindcrime
The lead singer is of course Geoff Tate and I am first minister in Tatism a new religion based on perfection
