Yaaaaaaaay!! Thank you and loved the shout out! How about that voice?! Geoff is deity status. He's been my favorite vocalist for 36 years. The rest of the guys nail it too. And yes.. it's a song of hope.
MASTERCLASS! I was fortunate enough to have seen this very tour at L'Amour rock club in Brooklyn, NY way back in the day! My jaw is still on the ground somewhere there...
My FAVORITE band on (or off) the planet! Very diverse in their musical and singwriting talents! And Geoff has been my favorite singer of all time for decades! I hope you'll dive deeper into original lineup Queensryche. You won't be sorry!
Another thing this is their debut album. Only practice and played a few dozen times before this event the four songs in the EP they play live better because they've played those songs over a years time.
Thanks for your reaction, and for teaching us about placing a Tarot Card with the song. Life really is a game that we must learn to play, or we are the plaything. A couple of their songs you may like, "Silent Lucidity," and "Eyes of a Stranger"; both were part of concept albums.
While Eyes of a Stranger was the bookend to the concept album Operation MIndcrime, Silent Lucidity was the most widely popular song in their epic catalog. Unfortunately Silent Lucidity was on the EMPIRE album. It was amazing and commercialy successful album, but EMPIRE was not a concept album.
check out the lady wore black live in tokyo killing words i will remember on Mtv unplugged silent lucidity queensryche was in a league of their own that great of a band
I do remember that back in these days the vocalist here, Geoff Tate was bit of an anomaly in so much as he had just cut off his brother standard-issue metal hair in favor of the Olivia Newton-John cut he is sporting here and he never really went back. And of course the eighties were so image-conscious that it was a always going to be people who just didn't like a particular band because of their look. But the fact was Jeff was such an amazing singer that people even dummies who are all about the visual aspect had to give him his due he still had a ton of respect from fans because he was just flat-out an amazing singer. And he fronted an amazingly strong band so in the end they win
Epic performance by the great Geoff Tate and the band!! Great reaction, and breaking it down. This is one of my favorite songs by Queensryche, but you got to check out another awesome song by them called "Queen of the Reich." You won't be disappointed. Peace!
80s Decade Produced Stellar Bands Song Writers Singers Musicians Playing Keys Brass Strings Skins Talent is Endless if you really dive Deep and Don't Compare to Zeppelin! In fact few bands sound like them but Better. Oooh . Back to what I was Saying 80s Metal To Light Rock. R&B to Dance Music was Pretty dam good in I think 80s overall was one of best decades I was in my late teens threw my 20s threw that decade felt like I was in a MTV Rock Video the Whole time Not Kidding. Thanks for Great Commentary on this Band and Song one of the bands I haven't seen in Concert but saw Van Halen 1979-2004 20 Concerts includes 1983 US Festival Heavy Metal Day 350,000+ people that day alone. what a Ride

MTV unplugged session. Your welcome

All Queensrÿche music is awesome. Their talent and work ethic is just like Rush music live but more intense! A fact !!

Right. Empire, didn't have a progressive storyline, it was more about that era. Thanks for the correction. @@ishsosa9344
I think what you were trying to say is, "Don't lose yourself."
Pretty much BE you true Self.

Lisa you are wise beyond your years.
This song is on Queensryche's The Warning Album, Google the album and you will see there are Tarot Cards featured on the cover.

Just like Metallica….the older the Queensryche, the better. My favorite band for many years. Watching from Tupelo Mississippi ✌️🦎

Thank u! I'm curious about that recommendation!
Forn reference, this was the oncore.
Listen to Rage for Order, their most underrated album and underrated metal albums, and Operation Mindcrime
