    Wow, I love this idea. For me the force interactions are the most fun at the moment and this deck plays them very well i guess. Also thematically I like that the force users "use" the played force events unlike many events like open fire etc. that come "out of nowhere". Like some others I did also not think about discarding a card with force throw myself. Well done sir.

    I've tried a Chirrut Mono Blue deck based around protector, but a deck based around force throw looks a lot of fun! I've got two Lukes and nearly all the other cards after opening up a box and a half. Got another box to open so hopefully I can build this myself.

      Just a thought- you could just play Force Throw in that list anyway, and pay the 2 for it. It can still be quite a swing for 2 resources.

    Excellent vid, thanks.
    1) Considering that Han steps up in the meta as well as Vader removal deck. Do you think that at least one vanquish should be added to the main deck (keeping a 2nd one at SB)?. If yes, which card should be cut off?
    2) I would personally take a risk of cutting the rebel pathfinder for another one patrol.
    3) Baze seems better than K-2SO for the main deck. (Keeping 2 copies of K-2SO at SB)
    4) With all above changes, SB could be: 2x devotion, 1x take down, 1x open fire, 2x K-2SO, 1x Vanquish, 3x Forced Surrender.
    What do you think over all?
    Thank you in advance.

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  8 месяцев назад +1

      Han is not scary for chirrut in my experience, as k2 and force throw can demolish his hand. It's a similar plan id use vs blue vader (forced surrender good there too).
      I don't think I'm comfortable going down to 9 turn 1 plays.
      I've been playing with baze, it's a good addition. This video is from a month + back so there have been changes based on the meta. I'll likely do an update video at some point.

    What do you think of this deck, but switch to ramp green? Ramp to get luke out early with Resupply and alliance dispatcher.

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  9 месяцев назад +1

      I prefer red because force throw is such a swing card. I do think green has some merit, it would just be designed pretty differently. You get energy conversion lab, which is huge. I'm not sure I'd include dispatcher though (without shielding it turn 1 with Luke's leader ability, I think the card ends up being pretty hard to do anything with).

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  9 месяцев назад

      You can try Mace Windu (also a legendary but a cheaper one). You could also try to play a more aggressive version using Guerilla Attack Pod, and possibly even play For A Cause I Believe In (you would need to replace more non-heroic alignment cards with heroic cards to fully utilize that).

    Love the high level commentary, Gives me hope for this games Competitive future. I was going to play Boba green but Boba and Vader are a little more than I want to spend. I already own a playset of lukes, Would you say this deck competes well into the open meta and is worth investing the time into? I am coming over from the Competitive mtg scene.

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  9 месяцев назад +1

    How would you compare this to the blue vigilance version of this deck

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  9 месяцев назад

      Vigilance is strong, especially vs aggro, but it's really the only powerhouse mono blue gets. It can help you hard target aggro if you want to go that route.

    • @TheSozeone
      @TheSozeone 9 месяцев назад

      @@iamwooooo so the mono blue version is stronger vs aggro specifically but this force throw version is more well rounded vs either deck?

    can Luke’s modification defeat Chirrut?

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  8 месяцев назад

      No, it cannot. The effect wears off before Chirrut's effect checks for lethal damage

  • @konbokonbox2293
    @konbokonbox2293 9 месяцев назад

    How does the Chirrut ability works exactly on both sides?

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  9 месяцев назад

      On the leader side, he can temporarily give something health, but the unit still dies at the end of the turn if it has lethal damage on it. On the unit side, he will survive until the end of the turn even if he has lethal damage on him, giving you time to heal/buff him and/or attack with him. Note that he only lives if it's his health that reaches 0, but he is still defeated by cards that say "defeat" like Takedown.
