I’m thinking it was something to do with the shutter, as this has a variable aperture and I’m recording in Auto. Never seen such phenomena in my other drones.
autel should hire you as their ambassador. can the remote be charged while in use? also where can i get this portable charger? do you think they ship to malaysia as well? Thanks
lol... I think the remote could be charged while in use. Good idea, i will try it next time. I think u can buy this in taobao, and arrange forwarder to ship it over. Cheaper that way.
@@TheGreatExplorer thanks for the feedback. I'm not really well-versed in browsing around taobao. A banana 🍌 myself. Looking forward to your future videos.
Great video. We need more range tests. When fly over trees and water you get strong interference (physics: the trees are plenty of water...) 3 km isn't bad, but as I say we need more tests...
Great drone!!! I see you got a white balance cards! Nice! I have the wallet ones that is the size of a credit card. Remember that you do that with 5000k so in post all your footages from any drones gets the right balance after in post you pick the gray card. Avoid white! use the gray colors and when you are in post you pick the gray card. Anyway, this drone is amazing
Nice review. Question: How is the drone connecting to the controller? I know it has GPS, but the Controller has a antena and i can not imagine that the signal from the controller reaches that far to connect to the drone directly. How does it work, do you know? If it connects directly there must be a huge radiation dont it?
Hello, the drone is connected to the controller through an encrypted wireless connection, usually on a 2.4Ghz & 5ghz band. The GPS module is located on the drone and your phone also act as a GPS on your phone Apps. The signal could indeed go very far if it is position directly in line-of-sight of the drone, not being blocked by buildings or anything. For this particular drone, 5KM is easily doable in a perfect environment. The radiation is expected to be within what consumer electronics are allowed by CE and FCC.
@@TheGreatExplorer Thanks for the clear answer. Its nice, but at the same time kind of scary that the controller wifi can reach that far. Back then they would also encourage smoking to pregnant women, and they advertised it on tv as healthy. Today the facts proove otherwise. Thats my only concern about it. But it must be really fun!
@@housevibez8828 i feel for your concern, however flying drones could be real fun that is worth the radiation (just like adapting to smartphones), it let’s you have a different reality from above and with all the tech inside, you will be amazed how far humankind has gone to this day. Btw, We have wifi signal all over the place nowadays and probably our immune system has to work hard to adapt to the increasing complication of radiation too, its just a reality we cannot stop but to just make good use out of throughout our lifetime.
Thank you for ur kind comments. I think if u wanted something a little different, with no geofencing, longer battery, variable aperture, very good night footage, this might be worth the purchase 👍
lol. I think it’s not quite possible as there might be tight border control with Radar and signal jammer. With this in mind, the drone might act strange while flying and loosing GPS signal is something very likely to have happened that could have ended such an attempt.
Open the props bro! 0.22 Don't want to see that thing bounce around on the deck like a fish out of water. Can you take a photo while recording video like on the Evo 2? Sure hope you get a sunny day soon. :)
You say you have the CE model. Is the Lite+ sold in both CE and FCC models (like the DJI Mini 1) ? I thought it used the GPS to calculate what country it was in and the change modes (CE or FCC) to fit the country regulations it was in (like the Mini 2 or Air2s etc) Are you in a CE or FCC country ?
As far as i know, it comes in two type (CE and FCC). I saw this information when I’m trying to activate my Autel Care. Seems not able to change to FCC from CE, since it’s likely coded into the hardware. I’m in neither CE nor FCC country.
Well, manufacturers always exaggerate their numbers. In real world flight, it is not good to drain ur battery to below 15%, which i surely have no intention test it this way.
@@Stefan-wd9uv i have a video on that comparing RAW files, i guess it is still inconclusive as of now. Will be doing more test to find out once i get my hands on an Air2s. It is very likely the Lite+ camera is better than the Evo2Pro.

How much for that powerbank?
I got mine for about equivalent of 40usd.
OA ... So it does not avoid obstacles... it just brakes? So its really ABS?
Yeap. It doesn’t avoid obstacles like what Dji or Skydio could. 😂 It should be called something else instead of Obstacles Avoidance.
Hmm.. Im quite over the fence about the range and signal stability
Me too. At least for this flight, the first mountain might have blocked the signal as I’m flying at a constant height.
how many minutes can you fly with a battery and with what percentage left?
In this video I’ve flown about 25mins with 30+%battery left
