"but seth, my dad says you should use a socket wrench"
Henry Meyer I laughed so hard 😂😂
he just dosen't give a fuck
*procedes with agressive drilling*
The issue was that guys dad who said that, didn't have a torque limiter on their impact driver. New age, new tech, a torque limiter solves this problem.
BRRRR

“If something goes horribly wrong, like if I yell Curtis really loud...”
2 seconds later,
“Curtis!”

Wow I love the other side of you Seth, or rather the less edited and more natural side of you and what goes on. Loving this new channel dude
reminds me of the old seth days, back when he mainly made tutorials
Yeah I agree, this type of video where you just kinda talk to us un-scripted I really enjoy watching.
Another vote for more of these... 2 votes if you include my 10yr old
His audio is a little more open now
RIZZLYBEARFTW 1 almost 1000 likes on your comment
This guy looks just like seths bike hacks and sounds like him as well
And he is working in Seth's garage!
snizzard i dont Think you Got the joke
snizzard sure you did...
huh, sound shady

Seth's favorite pastime is making fun of the crazy safety people, amazing.
Seth's car audio installation days are coming back to him.
Seth did car audio? Are there any videos?
I tought that i am only one that knows that.
@@mosiowaty1573 There was one howcast video of him talking about car audio installation but I can't find it
@@RoryMag I think it was about subwoofers. 2 10 inch subwoofers vs one 16 inch sub is the title iirc
@@aronkristofori1591 You're right, found it. There's actually a ton, if you go to the HowCastTechGadgets RUclips channel and search Car audio loads come up
5 days, 173 Views. Almost no childish comments. Feels Surreal to be watching a Seth Video with so few views. Even what is essentially a B grade video without the polish of the main channel, this is still top notch and put together better than 98% of youtube vids. Working with car stereos in your past life was a bonus for installing this winch. Projects like this remind me of another great youtube channel, Jerryrigeverything.

Not a tutorial.
The best tutorial i saw.
"Reason is, Ohm's law" if my 4 years of Electrical Engineering education have taught me anything it's that this is the answer to damn near everything
I had no reason to watch this “tutorial” that’s not a tutorial, but my takeaway was: Seth is, without a doubt, the best instructor for an instructional video that I’ve ever seen.
Lol “ohms law, look it up”. I’m a EE and I know how funny it is when people say stupid stuff like don’t touch a car battery.
RJ Anderson yeah but you wouldn’t want to get cocky and touch something you shouldn’t
@@idonotlikeboats9328 He's a professional, he understands how this witchcraft works. I think he would know common electrical knowledge.
I'm still confused at how V=IR means you don't get shocked but i want to learn
pew pew I said don’t get cocky not that they’re wrong lol
Steven Hardwick see that’s where it gets complex. The saying is that it’s not the voltage that hurts, it’s the current. That’s not exactly correct. The higher the voltage the less current is needed and vise versa. But your body resistance is so large that not enough current can flow to do any damage.
Edit: a prof once told me to think of voltage as force or tension, and current as a flow of liquid. If water has enough pressure it can hurt you( like a power washer) if you have enough water in one place it can hurt you. (Think like drowning in a pool). Hope that made sense.
This channel feels like the old video's of the main channel. Just raw and entertaining. Keep up the great work!
Watching this video shows me that Seth does have something upstairs in the ole noggin.
Ah.. got to the end of the video. Mind changed
CURTUS
Drill, jigsaw and a file. Near perfect button installation process in my eyes. Work with what you have.
7:15 But Seth my dad says you should use a socket wrench.. Pure comedy gold right there bud! :-)
I lost it at thus part
"But Seth, my Dad said to use a socket wrench" hahahahhahaahahhaahhahahahah
Really enjoying the more "off the cuff" Seth in these. It is a nice change for sure and I cannot wait for more.
6:50 ah I see you are using the incredibly precise measurement of ugga duggas
“This fingers on negative this fingers on positive”
*explodes*
I love the use of ugga duggas for torquing the winch down. I think thats the best way to go at this
Yes 1st video on this channel, thanks for making this channel more active seth!!!
Here after the bike park update; thanks for getting to word out Seth, always happy to see more of your content!
0:10 Seth is so short he needs boosters for the pedals
Hah! Reminds me of my first BMX. I was too short for it,so my dad put blocks on the pedals for me.
@@kainpwnsu you must have been really small then. BMX bikes aren't known for their high saddles xD
@@sebastianjost Yeah, I think I was 7 years old. My parents got whatever used bike they could afford. I quickly grew into it and rode it for several years until it got backed over by my mom's car. It was never right after that. :(
There was a field across the street from my house, plus a park nearby with a hilly, undeveloped area that had dirt trails. Cut my teeth on the dirt almost immediately, and have been rolling in it ever since.
In college, I completed in some NORBA races in '95-99, but discovered girls and a solid paycheck. Got married and moved away to flat places. Just got back into MTB in spring 2018 when we moved to the foot of the mountains. There's a full-blown bike park/dirt jump park very close, and an adjoining world-class trail system. The best part is they are between my house and work, so I can... uh, "commute" by bicycle. :D
I feel like a kid on my dirt bike, again!
@@sebastianjost Oh, dude! I see from your playlists you, too, are a programmer and physics geek. Fantastic!
@@kainpwnsu that sounds like a great place to live!
I don't have any Mountains or even hills near me :/ I'd be glad to find any flat singletrail here but I've searched pretty much an entire 10km radius around my home.
So interesting commutes aren't really an option for me. But I do still love my XC Hardtail. When I move out I'll certainly make sure to go somewhere with a bit of elevation.
I'm studying maths in University but still enjoy physics and programming (also studied physics last year ^^)
love the new channel seth hope its as funny as some of your old stuff!
Serving us the good stuff as always, with lots more laughs. Thanks Seth for all you do..
I love these behind the scenes and bike mechanic vids, well done.
Love this video. So natural and unscripted/edited. Reminds me of the old videos. Really interesting!!
Love getting more content Seth! Thank you!
Seths personality in these less planned videos that have less voice over is awesome.
“I’ll let you guess for one more second”
*pills out big drill*
I'm loving the new style of video this channel has! I'd love to see more!
That fit on the switch is SO satisfying, good job Seth!
This video is great! Love this side of you Seth - keep it up!
Omg so. Much fun. Thanks for the new channel Seth
The pure unedited and just simple backyard working is amazing and I love the holes about the safety and just fun times of building that is how the majority of people working in their garage work is great. However one big tip is had a dampening pad or blanket on the winch cable for heavy loads because if it does snap that cable will slice right through you like your butter.
If you ever thought that Seth was smart and creative, this video shows how truly brilliant, handy, and creative he really is. He makes this look so easy
Loved this video. Looks like you will be able to post more = lots of happy fans
We needed this content and channel.
Loving the new channel as I’ve watched all the other Seth bike hack videos so it’s nice to have some new ones to watch😁😁😁

This was really fun to watch!
feels alot more natural seeing you this way haha, keen to see the rest of the park updates!
Love the new Chanel, keep them coming.
I really like this video it’s different from your other videos and you should do more like this. I have been Subscribed for almost 4 years now and watch every single video. keep up the good work have a good one man
Love this new channel of yours Seth! Subscribed! Of all my subscriptions, I get the most excited when you release a new video!
i like this more than the normal vids,i like the raw videos more than anything
Loving the new channel. Informative and funny as feck too. Long may it continue.
I actually really enjoy seeing Seths videos in this way! it shows the different side of whats going on but it shows a different side of Seth!
oh man. I've done a hundred of these when I used to be a motorcycle mechanic. so fun :)
Love the new channel man
I thought this video was new. I’m still really happy to watch
I love you Seth. You never fail to make me laugh.
Love this channel, this will be fun!
Not going to lie, I like this style of videos more than I do the main channel ones
U are so freaking funny, love the new 2020 plans. Love from Edmonton Alberta

I love seeing this other side of Seth that's so knowledgeable about things like this.
Love this stuff looking forward for more
Great channel and video! We want more!!
really enjoyed this!
Really like this style
It's so cool having real time Seth. Used to voice over seth
Really liking the more natural side of you seth, this channel will be a gold mine of content
Love this channel already
I love this idea. This Is the type of content I sub to your main channel for anyways. Now I just get extra!
Well done sir. Different, but just as awesome as your SBC.
I like these types of videos. Where you do maintenance on your things. 👍🏼
So good keep making these!!
Awesome video!
Perfect! Great content.
Oh man! I was waiting for something like that on your main channel! That's amazing to watch :D
It seem you know everything, your amazing guy💯
Great video, would love to see more like this!!
Seth these vids are great keep it up
I built a receiver hitch cradle for my 12000 pound winch. You can use it on any vehicle and you can wrap the winch around a tree to move logs or vehicles wherever you need! I have a deep cycle battery that is just for the winch. I have quick connects for the battery wires. It has got me out of quite a few situations!
I really needed this channel.... especially since my 2 favorite MTB RUclipsrs now only do written script videos. Not a low blow on you guys, I just PERSONALLY prefer the natural, original, in the moment type videos...not the rehearsed, reading a script type videos. Can't wait to see where this channel goes!!!!
This is great Seth! I was laughing all the way through!!
"that was really dumb but it worked" should be the motto of the majority of the channel xD
Love this content!
love your videos
Why giving away something in 2 year old video
Great video!
Ahaha this is probably one of my favorite videos😂 I love how always improvise with tools
seth this is what kind of vid we like no edits nothing just be your self
this video was amazing!
This might be my favorite video yet...
Love it Seth keep it comin
Seth just seems to never get bored
That was fun to watch!
This was awesome! I honestly might like this channel better than your other one. :P Just kidding, but I do love how natural this feels, no editing, no scripts, just you doing you.
Loving the new channel 🥳
That was fun to watch, more of this please
Really love the content
Taking notes taking notes
"Did I mention this isn't a tutorial"
sigh...
😂😂😂😂😂
I had already bought my JD, winch and install kit...wish he said that at the beginning 😑
Love these honestly. Keep it up!
Dude that was alot of fun!
