Seth you can get a plug adapter for your tool and vacuum that will automatically turn the vacuum on whenever the tool draws power. Then you don't need to lean down and turn it on every time... or be like me and end up with dust everywhere when you forget to turn it on.
Put in a door to your voice booth. The amazing way to do it: Put wheels on your "Not staircase" and cut the door behind it. re-bolt the stairs to the door and add a latch so it doesn't open when you don't want it to. That way, when you want to open the door, the stairs and the door would open and swing out and close as a single unit without losing any space or having to move anything.
