i honestly think i enjoy the less formal, more personal feel of this channel a little bit more then the main Seth's Bike Hacks channel. great work. keep it up. also please just look into Robertson screws. the square ones. they are absolutely amazing. they don't EVER cam out when you don't want them too are extremely hard to strip out and you can attach the screw to the bit on the drill and it wont fall off even it you shake it or hold it upside down (as long as it's not totally worn down) so you can operate the drill with only 1 hand and the other holding the workpiece instead of needing 2 hands to get the screw started. there's a reason that these screws are the number 1 choice and the absolute standard when it comes to building anywhere in Canada. i don't know why they aren't more common in in the USA because they are awesome and a pleasure to use. no more stabbing your hand with a drill and no more stripping and camming out

Garage floors are actually pitched to drain toward the door on purpose. If you pull in and your vehicle has rain or snow on it, you want to direct that water.
I did that with my dog without even knowing and it worked, I would just tell him "No" and take him outside and eventually he just stopped peeing inside.
This does work! Though when my dog was a puppy she would pee inside during meals for attention (because someone would have to bring her outside). Not from lack of attention in general, she just got jealous :)

Avoid Ryobi like the Plague. I recommend Snapon>Bosch>Makita. Ryobi=DeWalt=Milwaukee>Husky, those are trash, utter trash. I myself would go Bosch, but I inherited Makita batteries....

Now that you have a break room and a water cooler where folks can gossip. Haha. Nice shop, very clean and well organized. I really enjoy the trail build vids. They give me ideas for things I can build here. I've got 60+ acres on a mountain with woods. I started cleaning existing trails and finding new areas to make trails. It's taking forever though due to horrible weather in WV and a lack of friends that ride mtb. Someday I'll get it finished. Lol. Thanks for sharing.

phillips head screws are designed like that so that the driver jumps out at a certain torque and the screw does not overtighten in something like metal that can be warped

"I HATE Phillips head screws!" You're preaching to my soul brother! Not sure about the US, but in Canada, Robertson (square) are super common, and I rarely have an issue with the screw staying on the bit. I've tried the Torx screws, I don't know if it the bit or the screws but they don't stay on and constantly wobble when driving them in.
Seth, sorry to be one of "these guys" but I have an idea for your rip fence limitations. Is it possible to clamp a straight board to the work bench perpendicular to the stairs? While it's not the fence on the saw I think it might function similarly.

They're just a shittier robertson, as torx still don't grip the screwdriver head like robertson head screws do. Built a few decks, not professional or anything, but unless you have one of them fancy belt feeders no everday handyman should go with a lesser product.

I’m building decks since 2003. We used to love Robertson screws. Now we see that torx are the best. And even better google torx ttap little more expensive but worth it.
