great video! interesting to note the major tax write-off benefit, cleaning their "reputation", developing a new betting company while basically revoking competition, and still having that 50% profit clause upon sale of Barstool. very interesting to think about who wins, but this is all gambling at the end of the day, except with lawyers - so fair bet lol. cool to see that Barstool remains its own entity though and excited for its future
@@RaisedMedia You're almost there! I'm working on getting monetized myself, so I know the struggle. 😅💪Hopefully, my watch minutes pushed you a little closer. 🙌
Thank you! I’m surprised you aren’t monetized yet given your subscriber count (including one from me haha). Must be your watch hours? I’ll be watching all your videos on repeat to help the cause 💪🏻
Yes! The watch hours. I have about 500 left. I'm only starting to get consistent viewers now, so hopefully they add up soon. And, awesome! I appreciate you. 🙂🙏@@RaisedMedia
I messed up the 2021 date when I meant to say 2023. This just happened. Obviously he didn’t get the whole $550 million lmao. When he sold to Penn he got around $100 million from it.
Not long term, when they released the app it rose to the top betting app but that was quite short lived. Purely because it was new and had a lot of loyal fans download it all at once.
Your video quality is insane for only having 1k subs you deserve much more. Great vid though, learned a lot.
Thank you! Keep tuning in, more to come :)
August 2023 not 2021
Yeah good catch!
great editing man, in the short timeframe too! very impressive!
Thanks I rushed this one out! Glad you enjoyed
He is an inspiration
I used Barstool to bet. I'm not going to use ESPN.

Yeah it’s a pretty rock solid deal for everybody involved. Dave obviously wins the most here
Great production quality
Much appreciated!
Great video - I never knew he sold his stake then bought it back!
Thank you! He sold the stake back in 2021 but he just bought it back!
Great video! I feel as though this channel deserves many more subscribers. All the best. 🙌
Thank you! Aiming for 1000. Getting there…

Disney owns a beting company
Wait! WTF?!

You rock!
Top sport betting apps in the USA? Huh? What data are you looking at....

yet you can get around regulated gambling and illegal states by using VPN ...lol...
Hell yeah you can.
Remember when you buy a company you also buy the liabilities.
He paid what it's worth.
Was popular.
Now nobody watches.
That's why Penn tossed it in the trash bin.
LoL
Lol because penn is public, you can see that barstool is quite unprofitable.
