VOA 60: Kenyan activists hold memorial concert for those killed in recent protests and more

Activists in Kenya held a memorial concert on Sunday for the 39 demonstrators killed during recent antigovernment protests. Throughout the concert, people called for the resignation of President William Ruto.
The U.S. military said on Sunday it had completed its withdrawal from Air Base 101, located near the airport in Niamey, Niger. The country’s ruling junta ordered the U.S. in April to withdraw its nearly military personnel from the country.
