That's what baffles me the most in these cases, many only got probation, a cop who was caught with a gun, knifes, a chainsaw, ropes, duct tape, and child pornography got nothing at all and a 10k bail which is laughably low compared to what everybody else normally gets (in another case where a predator was caught with the same stuff they straight up said this is known to police as the murder kit and dude was regarded as a potential murderer on top of being a predator)
