- Veteran journalist Chris Hansen came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, where he spoke about growing up in Chicago and being inspired to be a journalist as a teenager after the murder of Jimmy Hoffa. Hansen went on to speak about working at NBC starting in 1993 and dangerous aspects of the job, and then he spoke about being the host of the highly successful sting show, "To Catch a Predator." He explained how he was scared during the first episode, but things quickly took off, and they were busting all kinds of people, including a former Texas Assistant District Attorney, who committed suicide. Elsewhere in the interview, Chris reacted to "The Booty Warrior" from the Boondocks sending him a message, and he also addressed being let go from NBC and Dateline. I had no idea that Hansen is so hard boiled. At first he seems like a soft preppy but by the end of it he's explaining to Vlad that sometimes in life you might get shot and that's just the way it is.

Not at all. I think vlad was brave to ask him these questions. It's what makes the interview more interesting. I hate interviews where the interviewer just kisses up to the interviewee. Besides, Hansen has asked way more embarassing questions to all the caught preds in order to humiliate them.

His "matter of fact" tone and sarcasm is just the best! I love it. His tone and sarcasm on the show in conversations with the predators made for great humor in an otherwise very serious and sad topic. He was PERFECT for hosting that show!
As an English speaking foreigner (New Zealand) Chris Hansen's voice is strangely epic and comforting at the same time, it's cool to see an interview where he is the subject

Best interview I have seen with Chris you let him speak and asked the questions we want answered. Glad to hear Chris is doing well.

You never know what walks among us, people we know, love and grew up knowing and look up to & secretly what their intentions are and what double life they have behind the scenes. It must be SHOCKING when these people are broadcasted on national television when it’s someone close to you & humiliating it must be for the families. Their life as they knew it is OVER their families, career, reputation is forever tarnished. It’s a psychology I will never understand nor will there be any rehabilitation in my opinion for predators.
