I don’t necessarily think he’s a sociopath, all I see/hear is an old school NYC dude. Loud, assertive, confident and says whatever is on his mind to whomever, without hesitation. NYC is an exhilarating, vibrant and intoxicating place. The city that never sleeps because it’s almost as if the city itself is on drugs, an infinite mainline of high grade cocaine and 1990’s era extacy (when they were called “rolls”) flowing directly into its infrastructure. I don’t think it’s possible for someone born and raised there to possess, in the slightest, any timid or subservient characteristics/tendencies.
If I’m not mistaken, this guy started abusing drugs and alcohol which eventually turned more towards the addictive/problematic side. Maybe he did this due to the guilt he felt from his actions. A true sociopath just flat out wouldn’t give a shit. Just my unwarranted opinion. I will say, once you step into that life, especially robbing and selling large quantities of cocaine, it becomes a dog eat dog world very quick.
    Survival of the fittest.

Besides, I lived in NEW YORK CITY the first 55 years of my life and witnessed East New York as virtually being a war zone during the period Mike described. With so much crime and corruption it’s easy to understand how a young cop can get entangled. Make a few unwise decisions and you can get yourself in knee deep with little room for escape. Thank you VLAD and Micheal for letting people know exactly how corrupt our system is from top to bottom. The moral of the story is you always have the best intentions when you start and as time goes bye you tend to lose more and more of your morals because you are taught to do so. We need to come together and stop these people instead of fighting each other. Don’t fall into the trap
