Thanks for using DIY Detail Rinseless Wash
how do you not get water spots if you prerinse it, if your working in sections, the other sections still have water on them right?
Hey man - couple small things! If youre using 4 gallons of water, you'll want 4 capfuls of water as each cap is 0.5oz and the dilution us 0.5oz/gallon. With the right dilution, you can even do those really heavy dirty cars (with a proper pre-treat and rinse) no problem. You can also put it in your foamer or pump sprayer as your pre treat and eliminate soap all together like we did in our shops. Also, the Legacy Sponge is a better media for it to clean and grab that dirt, but also leave it in the bucket for a safer wash. Lastly, Quick Beads is better utilized as a spray and rinse aid, and I'd recommend Ceramic Gloss as a traditional spray and wipe drying aid. Youll only need 1 spray per panel and itll last just as long. But you're absolutely right about rinseless washing being a time saver! Id recommend taking it even further and using on interiors and glass too!
Great stuff Chris! I got similar notes from Yvan after he watched this video too. Its absolutely no doubt that these products are amazing.
I noticed that to a cap full for every gallon
Hello I am new to car detailing. I have a product called Wax and Dry that is very similar to the product shown in this video. You're saying I can use it as a substitute for soap?
You yanks move different. If my business did this standard and left wheels looking like that I would be out of business! Hudson baby get me over there ffs I'd make a killing...
Well it’s about time someone started a RUclips detailing channel in Austin tx.! I was pitching my service to a potential customer the other day and they went with you guys! Savor the victory it won’t happen again! That’s from the movie Tommy Boy. Great video sir!
Who was it? And I agree, we're about to have a takeover in ATX!!
ONR does the same and is WAY cheaper. It's my favorite. I use it for window cleaner play lube quick detailer interior detailer and went to swash
superior products has soap that is about $9/gallon and $12/gallon...just saying, if you realllllly wanted to cut costs down that would be it. But then you are doing a traditional wash at that point
For this piece, the pre-foam could have been the rinseless , DIY acts as a hybrid, 2 oz in foam cannon let it go to work rinse off, and then do the contact wash.
I tried rinseless in the foam cannon, and overall, I prefer incredible suds. They accomplish the same thing but I like the visual and smell of incredible suds a bit better
Sir how can a get a sample of this product? I’m in Chicago Illinois & I’m a mobile detailer
Hey, Hudson are you talking from just a single mobile detailer perspective? If you have two people accomplishing this job on a (Range Rover Velar) which also makes the rinse-less process go by faster but do you charge less on that service? ? That was my curiosity. -Joseph
Hey!
Good question! This video was made from a solo perspective, but you definitely would be quicker doing it with a partner. That being said, with or without a partner you should charge the same. I like to charge for results instead of time. This incentivizes me to become faster at my job while still delivering excellence to my customers!
Forgive me for the rookie question, what about if you want to apply decontamination/clay, do you do it before applying rinse less product?
no question is a dumb question! You will wash the car first with Rinseless wash, then you will use the clay/decon towel on a clean surface. But make sure both the clay/decon towel AND the paint are wet and have rinseless wash on them when you begin decontaminating
Thanks Archer! So you wouldn’t dry the rinse less foam and then have the clay applied after, instead apply it while it is still wet
Hey can u show us inside of your car setup?
video coming soon my friend... will be showing off parts of the van. The video after that will be a detailed walk through of my van. Stay tuned!!!
You’re such a stud love your videos
Really appreciate it brother!
hey just wondering what pressure washer is that? because ive been looking into an electric one but dont really know what to get? thx
Active 2.0 is arguably the best pressure washer on the market for car detailers due to the super-high GPM. Just make sure to upgrade the 25 foot (steel-braided) hose to a 40 foot (steel-braided) hose.
It’s a great product!
100%!
I’ve used rinseless wash only for about two years now works great. One thing I did notice is that your dilution ratio is off. You want to be at one capful (half an ounce) per gallon, so should be 4 capfuls in that bucket
This particular product suggest that you use one ounce per 2 gallons. It's one of the stronger rinseless washes on the market.
Definitely a game changer though!
@@HudsonArcher_Details I’m familiar with the product, my gallon of diy rinseless is arriving Monday. I believe the cap is half an ounce, so you used one ounce to 4 gallons or so in the video. I’d also highly recommend trying out diy detail ceramic gloss, same process as you showed with the quick beads, but it’s better suited for that process, as quick beads performs best as a spray on rinse off product.
@@ethanblan435 Ah, I gotcha. And yes on ceramic gloss! They sent me a bottle of that stuff as well, it's fantastic. The protection it provides lasts a bit longer from what I understand when applied after the wash as opposed to as a drying aid.
@@HudsonArcher_Details and ceramic gloss smells amazing, doesn’t it! I got a gallon of ceramic gloss coming with my rinseless and I’m also going to be using their 5 year coating on my dad’s new truck
@@ethanblan435 Yes! It's fantastic

A real business mind at work here - good job - do start wearing a hat though mate when you are doing the exteriors - and some sunscreen if not already using some 🙂
haha! Really appreciate it. I am getting hats soon 😃
