What I think it is sad is that people are so focused on making the money for they are old. They waste their entire youth in the pursue of being old it seems. College makes you feel like you are on top of the world, like you are genius. But then, you get into the real word and find out that you barely know anything.
this video hit the nail on the head on what Ive been internally struggling with for a couple months now. Being able to produce art for you will always feel better than the skill you possess for someone else's monetary gain. Although at the end of the day you are doing what you love but it's always better when you do it for yourself.
The biggest reason I'm posting is to pass on my lessons to my future reincarnation. Everything else is secondary. Realizing that allowed me to not be afraid to fail, because instead... I'm afraid to not even try. So I would prefer to fail incessantly rather than not try incessantly. I haven't made a "good" video yet... But I've made very good points. I've made great beats,( but the sound quality sux.) I've made improvements & learned lessons. And I never would have started if I didn't overcome fear of failure.

Creating for yourself is a totally different experience. Making the transition from a career to a business owner is difficult for so many people because our society was made to create more workers. Like you said, from when we're young we learn to imitate these systems and the systems have been in place for a long time.

At the beginning it’s judgmental but as you grow in understanding & knowledge it turns into evaluation. We need to always evaluate our decisions. That sometimes includes evaluating the lives of the company we keep. We need to always take stock of “what is in our hands”. A lot of times they do not work in our favor or add value. They may also be the kind if people who don’t even like having us around. We need to make an honest assessment. Evaluation is good.

the better approach is to not compare yourself to others, whether you see yourself higher or lower than other people, they don't care. Just focus on yourself, don't be frightened to the possibilities but be realistic still. never limit yourself if you work hard enough you can achieve it. We just have different stats at some point but it doesn't mean you can no longer improve it once you arrive in a certain age bracket.

If you have learned basics (at least reading/writing/communicating), you will climb first few steps on other ladders faster than first time. It also helps building network of people. If you haven't found out yet, people with more followers gets paid more. Make some yearly goals and then break it down. You ain't getting that six pack on your abs tomorrow.

🎉 Hello Dan 🎉 I found you few days ago and got interest in your interpretations of self development and creating business from your life purpose and skills we gain on the way. I am 39 years old and I wake up few years ago 😂 I got very interested in holistic optimisation of health thanks to my daughter. She is 4 now but when she was 7 months old she start having current ear infections and tonsillitis. She was on antibiotics for 12 months given from GP but I could of see how her health deteriorated. She was referred for tonsillectomy and ear grommets surgery and this was the point where I refused all of this I’ll reality…. It's funny, at any point in time you can look back into the past and say man, if only I could go back w the things I know now. But that's always the case, you'll one day feel that way about this very moment. Even though right now you may not have a clue to what to do or where to go. Tremendous opportunity always exists, it was in your face in the past, and it's in your face now. I think putting yourself in and harnessing that perception where you know without a doubt that right now, somewhere, there is a huge opportunity within your grasp, will help you to "see" it. So much of life is about frame of mind, and a change in that regard can reveal things hidden right in front of you. Kinda like: it was always there, your settings just needing tweaking to see it.
