It's amazing what God can do with someone who just enjoyed reading his word , studying it, to obey it and teach it. The study of Colossians was fantastic and the introduction is something my children need to hear to combat all the new age nonsense.
I miss my favourite teacher “Chuck Missler ” …must be cool to be in heaven but watch your rewards continue to mount because of your life time work was so very important to the church! Thank you Chuck for have been such an obedient teacher and servant to Jesus and the church. I miss you….
Unfortunately, most pastors/elders today do NOT qualify (by God Himself) to hold those positions. If you do an in-depth study on what the qualifications MUST BE (scriptures words, not mine-check out the Greek meaning of it) to even hold that "shepherd-teacher" position, then you will find that a lot of them do NOT qualify, because they never received this "spiritual gift" from God (God is the One who gives out those gifts to whom He chooses, it's HIS choice). The qualifications listed in scripture, simply help us to know which men (not women) God Himself has gifted to hold that particular position in the church. (The Master only chooses who they get to be, and not us.) Most churches today have created their own qualifications to hold that position, which are man-made qualifications that nullify what God has said in His word. We do not have the right to do so, because we are only servants/believers and not the Master/God. It is the same error as the "traditions of elders" that Israel was guilty of implementing at times in their history (including the time Jesus walked this earth in the flesh). The "traditions of elders" were man-made rules they added, which then prevented people from actually keeping Gods instructions instead. Why is it, that we never seem to do bible teachings on that subject? The chapters on "spiritual gifts" start out with Paul saying, "that he did not want the people to be ignorant of spiritual gifts". Yet, we ignore those teachings and get into all kinds of crazy things. It is because most our churches are in REBELLION against God's instructions in His whole word. THAT is why our churches are salt without flavor, and are being trampled down in the streets. In addition, most Christians do not read all the scriptures themselves, and are ignorant on how to "test" the spirit to see whether or not it is from God. They are shipwrecking their faith by doing so. They become susceptible to the wiles of the devil, such as false teachers and prophets. God will discipline His people for this, just like He disciplined Israel. We are playing fast and loose with His word. We were warned not to add-to or delete- from the scriptures. God's people need to REPENT and turn back to Him.
@@sues3218 That has been my prayer for a long time..That people stop listening to those false teaching and get back the straight balance of God's word...So many churches are falling into that Woke lies of deception. Thanks for your posting...
I agree that we are secure in Christ but not against our will I believe if a person decides they no longer want to be in the hands of the son and father then God will not hold them against their will.
I know people who I am certain have been saved. They lived it for years and then through the hardships that life threw at them they fell away from Christ, got involved in fornication and now are living with a partner they are not married to. What is even more amazing there is one of these couples who attend church every Sunday, listen to worship music daily and exalt the name of the Lord as though there is no conviction about their lifestyle. There is the presence of God on their lives that can be felt (believers are able to experience the witness of the Spirit on others); however they engage in drunkenness and reveling behavior when they are drunk. They certainly have experienced Justification but their sanctification is lacking it would appear. I don't think that God or Jesus is to be called "Butterfingers" but what are we to do with those who would spurn the work of Christ by neglecting their salvation/sanctification? What is the fear and trembling we are to experience as we work out our salvation? What about the goodness and the severity of God? What about the slothful servant who buried his talent? What about the one who sets his hand to the plow and looks back? What about the one who is worse off because he neglected his salvation and chose the world? What about Demas who was a companion of Paul but forsook him and it was said of him that he loved this present world. Justification is indeed free, Sanctification is to be worked out through the power of the Holy Spirit and if we work cooperatively with the Spirit we will receive Glorification.
Also I want to add that when people take John 6:37-39 to prove eternal security they have to also consider John 17:12 which states While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but (except) the son of perdition; (no one is lost except Judas) that the scripture might be fulfilled. This scripture clearly shows that one who willingly turns away can be lost. Jesus also clearly states that the Father had given him Judas in making him the exception in the sense that he was the exception in that he WAS LOST. We can't say that Judas had no say in what happened to him and was an exception in that sense. It was not that he could not have done the right thing. He chose the path he took. We have eternal security in taking what Jesus gave us and obediently choosing following him through sanctification of the Spirit. Don't teach people that they can be saved and live worldly and expect to be glorified. He that teaches men to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of God.
Helen Williamson i feel like those people are " eating vegetables" , are somewhat " weaker" christians, and just dont understand how their actions are incompatible with Gods word...i feel they need guidance, understanding, love and patience...it sounds like they are indeed saved, though, so praise God. " let him who is without sin cast the first stone...".
TheHotCoffeeHouse I certainly agree that we need to be patient with young Christians as God is long-suffering with each one of us however we are supposed to judge those who are within the church. See 1Cor. 5:9-13. It is sad that we live in such a time that if we follow the clear teaching of the word of God we are considered to be judgmental. We must follow the teaching of the apostles who were inspired by God. Galatians 6:1-10 says we are to meekly restore the one overtaken in a fault. When the church doesn't love enough to warn we give off the appearance that sin is acceptable to God. Fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God. Let's love them enough to warn them. It really is our responsibility to do so but always with humility and gentleness because we all are working out our salvation and in need of God's mercy.
Helen Williamson i feel u are judging. " judge not, lest ye be judged". -Jesus. Jesus is greater than the Apostlez. If u lead them to change by example ( not fornicating), and preach the Word to them, so they change on their own, that is best. But telling them they won't inherit the kingdom, is judging, imo. You dont know that about them, only God does. Scripture does, say as u quoted, but, that is for each person to realize on their own from us christians thru teaching, preaching, and living example. Maybe God wants to forgive them, or already has, we dont know. Bottom line, i agree with y ou scripturally, of course, as a fellow believer. But, i dont agree with judging others or verbally confronting or " warning" them about their behavior unless the circumstances warranf ( for example, if they ask u directly for ur opinion on their lifestyle. I know, normally might not happen...but again, if they get convicted in their hearts by teaching, preaching, and example, it will happen.) We need to love others, not judge. " love the sinner hate the sin".
Col 2:16+17 states we are not to let anyone judge us for keeping of Holy Days, the New Moon or the Sabbath Days. So if you are being judged for it you must be doing it. So stated simply keep His Holy Days, the New Moon and the Sabbaths. Wake up before you are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
+WHATISTRUTH Jesus did clarify a lot of the religious misconceptions of His day, however, we can't say that He made them "harder" as that would require changing them. Changing the Word is prohibited in multiple places in the OT and Jesus prohibits himself from changing the Law in Matt 5:17-18. Also, throughout the Bible the Law is described as NOT hard or burdensome. Obedience is the true indication of one's love for his/her Father. I think 1 John 5:3 teaches it just right "For this is the love of God, that we keep(guard, protect, and obey) His commandments: and His commandments are NOT grievous (burdensome, heavy)."
Jason Skipper i have to agree, they really arent!! they are joyous to follow and it is an awesome blessing every day to obey the Lord ! not that im perfect nor can i always obey 100%. but His law is most certainly NOT burdensome, just the opposite..." my yoke is easy and my burden is light". its,the governments of the world that put onerous burdens on people. God bless u today maranatha!!
A lot of good (standard) information. The Eternal Security is unscholarly though. You cannot have John 10:27 and John 10:28 without John 10:26. Basic hermeneutics, please. Chuck, you're better than that.
Dave , You have much to learn... Missler as usual is holy spirit filled and gives us the benefit of Gods inspired word. I pray someday you should come to the knowlege of truth . Dont shoot the messenger..
Chuck gets it wrong regarding Mother Mary. Jesus performed his first miracle at the request of his Mother. The Apocrypha books have information on Mother Mary. Wish Chuck would cover them
Now he doesn't. Jesus minimized Mary Read Mark 3. She thought he lost his mind and came to take him away from his Gathering he was teaching. At that time he completely ignored her and said said, "who is my mother .... And her prayer song she rejoiced in God her savior. She needed a savior she wasn't immaculate. And neither her nor any so-called past believer is necessary to be a go between you and God the Father. And Timothy it says there is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.
I've been hooked on Chuck Missler's videos for months now...his lectures on Genesis!!! WOW
Same here!
Ikr. Chuck's work ethic is obvious. He's puts all his time into it !!!
Yes!!! Amen to that!!! He hooked me about 2 years ago!!! I still search his uploads on a daily
Going through revelation and through the Bible in 24 hours will bless you too
And Revelation...of Isaiah!!!!

The thief in the night for those in darkness but for followers to have their eyes open sure opened my eyes. Pastors miss that constantly.

7 years and less views compared to teaching of other prosperity preachers. Indeed God reveals His will, love and Truth to those He wills.
This man is to be respected and honored. He is genuine and knowledgeable, a true man of God.
Rich teaching material. Thanks for sharing - just love Chuck Missler - he always has a treasure of knowledge.
What a mind... Rest in glory with our Lord Jesus and our beloved Father YAHWEH. Please guard us and preserve us, so that we can unite once more...
Thank you Jesus!
Thanks for uploading these videos

thank you for posting all these studies!
Was not expecting the Star Wars reference at 26:44. Brilliant!
The question should not be "can I loose my salvation?". The question should be "do I genuinely have salvation?". See the epistle of 1 John.

awesome
Maranatha!
YES! I knew chuck had to of taught about Colossians
People who are with temper have control issues.
" a resource from the power of sin " . What is sin? Transgression of God's law. God's law is written in the OT, right?
Yes, and Jesus even made the laws harder at times to get the point across.
