Thank you so much for recording all of these teaching sessions on The Book of Colossians by Chuck Missler. GOD bless you. 🙏🏾 Thank GOD for the archives of his teachings. I loved learning from him.
I pray these comments would help all those taking the time to read and understand. A couple I have heard that helped and really got me thinking. The biggest obstacle to finding the truth is the assumption that you already have it! One that I heard recently that really fits the times because of this idea pushed that "You have your truth, and I have my truth" You can have your own opinion, but opinion is not the same as "Truth" Society has really made a mess of things haven't they?
Two opposite ideas cannot both be true. One person's truth is whatever speed they feel like going...especially if they are 'late'. Then they bump up against another Truth which is the Law. OR, their truth may be that it's OK to steal...until somebody steals from then and then suddenly it's not "true" and they want justice. It's downright comical! If there is no standard of truth, all you have is chaos.
I have followed a lot of Chuck Missler's teachings for a couple years now. Chuck has some "opinions" that I disagree with, but when it comes to any "Doctrine Positions" I have never found him to be wrong! Way to many people believe ? because they have been taught to believe it, but never really question it. They just go with the flow and are wrong. One of the biggest wrongs taught is this idea that the Church replaces Israel. To believe that you must ignore many other parts and passages in the Bible. How does that work?
Pretty good series in my opinion. I severely disagree with his view on the Rapture (pre) and the 'once saved always saved'. There are 8 total lectures.
I am humbly submitting this, as it is not a salvation issue, but it is the Truth about the Harpazo. Please, I hope you "hang in there" with me through this. Almighty God created the rapture, man did not. The Holy Bible was not first written in English. It was written in Greek and Hebrew. The Greek word for rapture is HARPAZO. It means a fast, startling sharp immediate snatching away, as Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 - in a twinkling of an eye - which has been scientifically proven to be at the speed of light which the human eye cannot see. There IS a rapture - harpazo - that will occur at Almighty God's timing when our heavenly Abba Father tells our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, "Son, go get your bride." I'm a born-again Christian for over 48 years. The entire Holy Bible is Holy Spirit breathed - - 2 Timothy 3:16-- 66 books into 40 men that God chose to write His Word. And the Holy Bible is entirely about our relationship to our Bridegroom, Lord Jesus Christ. God knew that man was going to blow it in the garden, and He created us anyway, knew He was going to have to sacrifice His Son to redeem us and created us anyway. HERE'S THE KEY: GOD'S WORD AND OUR EXISTENCE IS ALL ABOUT THE JEWISH WEDDING. Firstly, Jesus answering and explaining to His disciples their question about what would happen in the end times in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 is for the Jews, not the Gentiles-Bride-Church. Luke 21 is for Gentiles. Secondly, look up in search engine on the internet for article on 'The Jewish Wedding and the Rapture". That will explain for you why the Harpazo is pre-trib: No bridegroom would want his bride to be tortured or killed before the wedding. God's Wrath is for nonbelievers of Jesus and those who lead so many astray from Jesus and His Truth. In 1 Thess 4:13-18 = But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. Pull up and study Bible scholar Dr. Chuck Missler's 8-hr study Revelation found here on youtube. 1 Corinth 15:51-52 = God said we are not appointed to His wrath, which is the 7-yr tribulation. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 = For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus says He will deliver Christians from the hour of trial. He is saying He will keep His believers from the tribulation. Revelation 3:10 = Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. The second coming of Christ is after the rapture and at the end of the tribulation. It wouldn’t make sense if the rapture happened at the end of the tribulation because we would go up and then immediately come back down with Christ. Pre-tribulation rapture is provable in Holy Scriptures. And if Jesus were NOT harpazo His church to Him first, if the Rapture occurs at the Second Coming and the wicked are cast into hell at that time, WHO will be left to populate the Millennium? Only people in their natural (non-resurrected) bodies will be able to have children (Matt. 22:30). With a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, the people saved after the Rapture who are alive at the Second Coming will populate the earth during the Millennium (For further explanation on this point, see the article "Who will populate the millennium?"). Key verses on the the RAPTURE being PRE trib☄: 1 Thessalonians 4:17(Then we which are alive...) Titus 2:13(Looking for that blessed hope...) 1 Corinthians 15:51-53(Behold, I shew you a mystery;..) 1 Thessalonians 4:16(For the Lord himself shall descend...) 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (For God hath not appointed us to wrath..) Revelation 3:10(Because thou hast kept the word...); Romans 8:22-23 (For we know that the whole... ); Luke 21:36(Watch ye therefore, and pray) ---Submitted with 1 Corinthians 13 love. God bless you.
@@FriendofRamblinJack jewish rituals are not a model for anything, and christians that believe such things are deceived. "No bridegroom wants his bride tortured and killed"--contradicts Romans, Psalms, Hebrews, Acts of the Apostles...etc. The "wedding" parable Jesus used is an analogy.
If you don’t believe in Eternal security, aren’t you depending on your own performance to “stay” saved? Our salvation is dependent on the imputed righteousness of Jesus, as we have none of our own.
Chuck gives hours of time and hundreds of Scripture to support his view and yet commenters make a Simple refute with nothing to back it up and imagine they sound intelligent then their true nature shows with their snide abusive comments. If they're trusting in their version of the Bible they very well could have lost their salvation already
I have a test I apply to any doctrine that someone teaches. It is real simple if first you understand the Bible does not contradict itself when it comes to such things. To test any doctrine simply find one verse that when read and understood in context that refutes that doctrine. Simple enough isn't it? The idea that you can take a few passages and interpret one way (or some other way) and that somehow proves something, is meaningless!
I cant wait to go to heaven and thank Chuck and paul for these books/studies he does
I consider Chuck to be at least one of the best teachers ever. Chuck has truly been a GOD send!!
We all must do our part and spread the good news be bold be brave be humble
