Chuck is my favorite modern-day Christian. He has imparted so much to me and also validated so much that no other has come close to. Thank you for these videos from such a special man. I've bought a few videos and mp3s from khouse over the years, but I still like to watch Chuck's other videos on youtube. In fact, when I watch some of these videos on youtube, it makes me want to go back on to the khouse website and buy a few more mp3s!
It is very significant that Colossians was also sent ; " to be read by the church of Laodicea ". I just wonder what the letter that Paul wrote to Laodicea would say.
How did Jesus pray? We ought to follow His leading/example, not man. Jesus looked up to heaven with eyes opened when he prayed, never down where sheol is. Why should we do otherwise?
They aren't Jewish times and feasts. They are HIS appointed times and feasts forever. What part of His and forever don't people understand? The Sabbath was made for mankind- Mark. It's not a Jewish Sabbath, but His Sabbath that He is Lord over forever. I AM met Moses, and that same I AM was in the garden making soldiers fall backwards at the sound of his identity. YHWH in the flesh. No need to keep the Sabbath and feasts, and diminish the divinity of God the Son.

Well, if we look at Leviticus 23, the first festival commanded is the Sabbath, which was establish at creation- Genesis 2:3. Since we know Adam was created on the sixth day, it's very plausible that even Adam rested with the Father. Now, when we get to the end of Abraham's life, and Isaac is about to receive a blessing, the Father explains why Isaac is about to be blessed: because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.” Genesis 26:5 If we allow for scripture to exegete or interpret itself, it's fair to say these church fathers were keeping a type of festival calendar because they obeyed the Father, and had faith in the coming Messiah, which these festivals are sign posts of his arrival. It's highly possible that these shadows of Christ were passed down orally before being written at Sinai. However, if you're looking for an explicit example saying that Abraham kept Passover, you won't find it. Yet, there are shadows such as, Lot feeding the angels unleavened bread before immediately being delivered from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah..... pre-figuring the exodus story. Lastly, if you don't mind, I think it's important to realize that even if you don't see an explicit command for Abraham to keep the festivals, none of these patriarchs could die for our sins. Christ alone was able to save us, and he certainly did keep the festivals; even fulfilling many of them with more yet to be fulfilled. 1st John 2:6 says whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. The timing in which the festivals are manifested and written down on Sinai do not make them any less valid for us today because we don't see them explicitly appear with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I could apply the same question and ask if the patriarchs or even Christ and his disciples celebrate Christmas? Which everyone knows they did not. Timing is important but it's not the determining factor to build a case for if we're going to obey God. He can come in and command something towards the end of time if He wants because it's not the timing of the command that validates it. It's the sanctifying word of God whose word is Supreme for all ages. Be encouraged to look into the festivals, if you haven't already. They are shadows of things to come that point to Christ. at around 06:00 min there's talk about lukewarm christianity, and how Jesus is about to puke his guts out. This was a loooong time ago. Imagine how JC feels now? Relieved because there's nothing left to puke anymore?
God is sick of lukewarm Christians is not the correct interpretation of that scripture. No sir! For if it were God would extremely importantly need to clarify the threshold for hot and cold and no where is that found. The scripture Is regarding a mixture of grace and law.

I thought this was going to be about Colossians all I hear is Revelation ... if you're teaching about one book or preaching on one book stick with in that book do not go to other books of the Bible That's how everything gets misinterpreted because you try to make it fit where I don't really belong if it belong there they would have wrote it in the letter there

Darkness fell upon us when time hid the truth
When might we awaken from the snare of this noose?
What might we learn? Where might we be?
When we open our eyes, hat might we see?
For now we lay sleeping awash in this haze Indifferent to the call for glorious days
All in God’s time I once was told
But what does this mean? What might unfold?
Why am I here? What must I do?
To answer the question and learn what is true?
I ask these few questions, in earnest I keep
My quest to discover why do we sleep?
When plentiful the signs from God up above
If we ponder the mystery and seek only love
Awaken sweet children, for look as we sleep
So much is occurring to know is to weep
That we have forsaken the ultimate prize
Of heaven on earth let us open our eyes
To this prison we keep, we live such as sheep
Deceived, led astray, with our souls will we pay
That we trade them for wealth is our earthly master’s goal Let go dust disguised as riches, seek His love with all your soul
Then may we fathom that we are of light
Though Adam and Eve did forsake Him from Eden took flight
Now here we are sleeping unknown is the truth
So hard is the path that will let us break loose
From this dimension and realize that we
Were made in His image and meant to be free
Now made in His image runs through my mind
In what ways exactly are we in kind?
Were we meant divine graces of telepathy, of flight?
But our brains remain largely in darkness of night
Divine is our nature this may we learn
To realize His plan or will our souls burn
Nary a peep does He hear as we sleep
Awaken sweet children, for the pain will not keep
