    Great development of the most basic of oil burners, the pot burner (and later the automatic fan pressurised on / off pot burner with electric ignition).
    We had central heating oil fired boilers with fan pressurised pot burners here in the UK in the 1960s but the Paraffin (Kerosene) was burnt with a yellow flame.
    Your burner is much better.
    The American Wallflame burner ** was adopted also in the 60s in the UK which was by far the most popular oil burner for automatic central heating boilers installed in domestic kitchens. It burnt kerosene with a predominantly blue flame.
    ** Invented in the late 1940s by Timken, USA.

      Thank you for sharing this historical perspective on oil burners and their development. It's fascinating to learn about the evolution of these technologies, especially regarding the transition from yellow flames to predominantly blue flames, which are often associated with more efficient and cleaner combustion.
      If you have any specific questions or would like to discuss this topic further, please feel free to ask. I'm here to help!

      Ya, kompor gas sering menjadi pilihan yang baik untuk persiapan makanan saat mengadakan acara atau pesta besar. Mereka dapat mengatasi jumlah makanan yang banyak dengan cepat dan efisien. Namun, penting untuk selalu menggunakan kompor gas dengan hati-hati dan mematuhi semua pedoman keselamatan yang relevan untuk mencegah kecelakaan atau kebakaran. Selalu pastikan bahwa sirkulasi udara di sekitar kompor cukup baik untuk menghindari risiko terkena gas berbahaya, dan pastikan untuk mematikan kompor setelah digunakan. Selamat bersenang-senang dalam menyelenggarakan acara!

    Thats an awsome invention, but is it safe? Could it affect our lungs because of the fumes? Can a filter be installed to avoid a risk factor?

    • @lmtn
      @lmtn  4 месяца назад

      Thank you for your interest and concern regarding the invention. Safety is indeed a critical consideration. To address potential risks associated with fumes, it's essential to ensure proper ventilation when using the invention. Additionally, installing a filter could help mitigate any potential risks by capturing harmful particles or fumes. However, it's important to thoroughly assess the design and functionality of the invention to determine the most effective safety measures. Regular maintenance and adherence to safety guidelines are also key in ensuring a safe user experience.

      You're right that there may be regulations and concerns about the potential pollution and safety issues associated with creating and using a waste oil burner. It's essential to follow local laws and safety guidelines when experimenting with such devices. Additionally, ensuring that the system is well-ventilated and the emissions are appropriately managed is crucial. • @lmtn
      @lmtn  8 месяцев назад +2

      Hello there! Thank you for your interest in our project. I'm thrilled to hear that you're working on a similar design. For the DIY stove using used oil or engine oil, you'll need the following materials:
      Metal Container: A sturdy metal container to hold the oil and act as the stove body.
      Burner Assembly: This includes a burner ring or nozzle to regulate the oil flow and a mechanism to ignite the oil.
      Fuel Source: Used oil or engine oil, as you mentioned. Make sure it's clean and free of contaminants.
      Air Inlet: You'll need a way to control the airflow into the stove. This could be adjustable vents or openings.
      Support Stand: A stable base or stand to keep the stove off the ground.
      Pot or Pan: To place on top of the stove for cooking.
      Tools: You'll require basic tools like a drill, pliers, and wrenches for assembly.
      Safety Gear: Don't forget safety equipment, including gloves and safety goggles, especially when working with oil and fire.
      Remember to exercise caution when working with open flames and hot oil. Safety should always be a top priority. Good luck with your project, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask! ❤️

    How did it smell after the blue flame?
    Can you burn it in thr garden without angry neighbors?

    • @lmtn
      @lmtn  8 месяцев назад

      Burning waste oil in a garden or backyard may generate some odor, and the smell can vary depending on the type of waste oil being burned. The blue flame in the video indicates that the combustion is efficient, but there may still be some odor associated with burning oil.
      Whether or not your neighbors will be bothered by the smell can vary from person to person. It's a good idea to consider local regulations and the preferences of those around you. If you plan to burn waste oil in your garden, it might be a good practice to inform your neighbors about what you're doing, ensure the combustion is as clean as possible, and take steps to minimize the odor. This can help maintain good relations with your neighbors while you use this heating method.

    Does it work on any type of used oil

    • @lmtn
      @lmtn  8 месяцев назад

      The effectiveness of using a homemade furnace with used oil can depend on the type of oil you're using and the specific design of the furnace. Generally, many people use waste motor oil or used cooking oil to fuel such furnaces, as these oils are readily available and can burn efficiently.
      However, it's important to consider the quality and cleanliness of the oil. Contaminants, water, or impurities in the oil can affect combustion and may lead to issues. Also, different types of oil have varying combustion properties, so results may vary.
      If you've tried this method, could you share your experience or any tips for others who might be interested in using used oil in their DIY furnace? Additionally, what type of used oil are you referring to, and do you have any specific questions or concerns related to its use in this context? Your insights can help provide more guidance on the topic.
