There are other waste oil heaters builds that use forced air from an electric blower that burn a blue flame and complete combustion. This design does not have: 1. complete combustion, inefficient. 2. Takes the air from the room to feed the burn. Not effective, as it takes the hot air from the room and sends it up the chimney.
So you made a small version of a smudge pot. If you would have not restricted the exhaust flow. It would have chuffed once it got hot enough and burned even more cleanly. I know this because I have a vintage smudge pot.

What size square tubing did you use? That slick for sure. How large of aria would that heat?
Square pipe 100*100. Horizon - 500mm, vertical 400mm. Designed for 25-30 sq.m.
