    Wow finally someone who clearly made it much easier to understand. I live in Canada and I want to use monster digital for my print provider for USA and CDA. So I would put USA as my origin because most of my customers I want to sell to is in the USA. So I would put Free shipping for USA (put shipping into my price) then for CDA I would allow Printify to give me the shipping cost and leave it like that correct? Hope your answer is yes which would mean I understood your lesson today. You are a very good, clear and to the point RUclipsr which I truly appreciate. Ty

    Thank you for the info. This was one thing I was unsure how to handle. Since I live in Germany but I wish to sell mostly in North America and Europe.

  • @MariaLuluGarza

    Great video I wish I understood all this when I first tried to learn the shipping. I have a question in the video you said you would go back and explain the default shipping profile that is assigned from selecting assign new shipping profile. I have been editing that default profile to match the production days to Printify because it seems to always come up as 1-7 days and I don't know how it determines what the estimated day of delivery is but it seems to be up to 14 days when you see the Etsy listing and that's too many days. So how does it determine the delivery date so I can match it with what Printify says? Also how can I be sure that the shipping for the 2nd items will be what Printify will charge me? What really is inconvenient is when I go to do a pretend order Etsy tells me oops you can't purchase your own products so how can I test the orders one would make to be sure it will be charged correctly?

    This was so good for me, ty! I have a question though. I have on my mugs, one listing showing 11oz and 15 oz, but only a profile for both so 15oz shows shipping price of 11oz? Still searching for that answer. Not sure how to list both profiles under one listing?? TY! keep on seaching, keep on searching, lol

    Thank you! If you create a shipping Profile from scratch in Etsy, does that override the shipping profile you set up in Printify for that same exact product?

    You can find your print providers ZIP Code if you send a text file with your print providers information. It will be located in the automatic with the test file that is sent over for the listing. Because the way you're showing this in the video that ZIP Code could be that where the main office is and it's not the factory where it's being sent from. When I opened my Etsy shop, I called them and it's a different ZIP Code. Again, just send a text file to your Etsy shop with a profile.

  • @dedrajones9235
    @dedrajones9235 8 дней назад

    So when I asked about the zip code, I was told to put one zip code for all of the products since Printify was going to be shipping all the products. This is beyond confusing.

    Thanks for the detailed information, super helpful! I was left with one question: if I have items in my store that I create & ship my self AND print on demand products - can I add two different countries of origin in two separate shipping profiles? Thanks in advance!

    How should I handle shipping profile, where I use single print provider, that has multiple fulfillment centers around the world and automatically uses the closest one? The only thing I could come up with is to create duplicate listings for different regions. Any better suggestions?

    Great video very helpful!! I have a question - for international shipping costs you have suggested to use rate table from provider info, however that would not be solution you would use if you would select automatic order routing for international shipping. SO what solution would you use instead for this option? Thank you?

    Hi Jeff, can you use one shipping profile for Swiftpod and Monster if both the products shipped are tshirts. Or do you recommend keeping them separate due to zip codes being different? (all while offering free shipping)

      My question also.

    • @PODinsights
      @PODinsights  8 месяцев назад +4

      Yes, you can use one shipping profile in this situation and I do exactly that myself. Mine is based on Monster Digital's zip code but I have some listings set up with SwiftPOD t-shirts because they had a color or size I wanted that MD did not. Etsy uses the origin zip to estimate delivery time to the customer, but beyond that there seems to be no significant impact if the order ships from a different zip code than what is in the shipping profile.

    Hi, have one question. If have to open my Etsy account heard that they will hold you money for 3 months. If yes then if have to sell my things through Printify have to pay for T-shirts and other things or it will detect my money from the order money. Hope so get the answer. If you don't get my point can explain it to you again. Thanks

    It doesn't seem like I am able to manually select a different print provider for the four markets I am operating in: UK, USA, Canada, Australia. Is it correct that I will have to select 'one shipping profile' which will have 'One Print Provider' regardless of the customer's location? Normally, I would just create separate listings with separate print providers and update the product title and description with the market (e.g. UK - Schnauzer T-Shirt) (USA -Schnauzer T Shirt), but ETSY frowns upon creating Duplicate listings. So how then do ETSY sellers optimize their shops according to price, shipping cost, and profit margins, if we are forced to only select a single print provider that operates in multiple countries? This ultimately makes the cost of goods more expensive and less likely to convert sales

    It doesn't say "Shipping" in my ETSY store, it says "Delivery". It doesn't show any Printify providers there either, it just says "Delivery option" and it wants me to select a Delivery profile.

    Please help! I have my shipping set to 2-5 days and when I go to my Etsy Shop it still says est. delivery 20-27. I cannot get this down! My St.Patty shirts will not arrive in time. Also To be able to have express shipping I have to delete a color in order to get express shipping applied.. I only have white and green available. What am I doing wrong here??

    Hi, thanks for the explanation. I have an issue regarding duplicating a shipping profile. I have two t-shirts that have the same shipping profile and are from the same print provider. I want to set two different shipping profiles for them. I've tried to duplicate the common shipping profile since I want to set different shipping prices for each of them. But whenever I clicked duplicate, it did not work. Is that a common issue? Should I just create a new shipping profile from scratch and assign it to one of these t-shirts? And if I create, should I copy and paste every information other than shipping prices? I would be very happy if I solved this.
    **Update** : I encountered the same error (we could not update your profile) while I was creating a new profile but it worked when I set a shipping service other than "other".

    Hi Jeff, I'm not sure which video I watched, but I downloaded the spreadsheet you use for POD. I'm not good with formulas and am wondering how I would add the 15% offsite ad fee to this spreadsheet. Can you please help me with this (if it won't take too much time)?

    ? for you. I am new to Printify, so when you click on a random shirt, I do not see additional providers under the start designing button (regardless of what product I click on). Is this a paid-for-feature or why am I not seeing additional providers? An thank you

    • @PODinsights
      @PODinsights  14 дней назад

      It seems they changed the layout a bit, if you look under the product image after selecting a product, you should see a header that says "Select a Fulfillment Option" and two buttons. The second one is "choose manually" and that will reveal the list of individual print providers.

    • @chrisccc503
      @chrisccc503 13 дней назад

      @@PODinsights Thanks for replying. I watched your video for fulfillment option and do not see two buttons. I do not see anything that says select a fulfillment option with 2 buttons underneath the image after I click on it. And with the choose manually, I go to my products then click on create order, then manual and type in any given word like sweatshirt or t-shirt and it will say we cannot find any matches.
      I found that when I click on any random shirt, sweatshirt, mug, etc., in most cases it will just list one provider in the USA which is fine but a lot of them I click on, it will literally have no providers under the green start designing. And nothing to click on to find them that you mentioned. So with those, I am not sure if they ran out of inventory which is why they provide no providers, etc. Feel free to let me know what you think and what I am missing here. But the good news is that some of the products do at least list one provider under the category which is what i will use since I have no other choice.
      Thanks again
