NOT SURE why foto folks like don't narrate during the presentation. IT makes the presentation so much better than music drops. I wish more shooters narrate. good job
Year 2021 and half of 2022 I shot like 150 Films on my then newly acquired M6. It was a first time analog experience for me, and my digital cameras only stood on the shelf in this period. I developed and scanned the films at home, and it was an amazing experience. Now with the up to double in price for negative films, I really can’t afford it anymore, and I’m really sad about it. Analog is really quite unique in character. Especially the shots of my family gets a mood I can’t replicate with my M11. Now it’s my M6 that’s on the shelf, looking at it every day hoping for the prices to drop. Thanks for your story and your wonderful photos! Subscribed
great pictures... I have ben thinking of M6 purely because I don't want to sit in front of the computer processing images. But if I end up time spending developing them, it is no better situation. How is the metering with the new M6?
Give and take, unfortunately unless you go full darkroom lab you will inevitably end up behind a computer at some point. But I love the process of film
I myself bough a used classic M6, but ended up getting an MP. When i had the m6, it was only then i figured out that i wanted to have a camera for life with readily repairable parts, I do miss the m6 though, but I'd probably only buy the 2022 one.
I want to get a upgraded viewfinder in mine, but I’m not looking forward to the day I have to send it off and get a CLA and that mod because wait times are huge
Frankly, for a "purer" film rangefinder experience, the Mamiya 7 is a much better choice. You've only got 10 frames on that roll of 120. Each is precious; you don't get 36 exposures to screw up and make excuses with. Each of those 10 frames has almost 6x more imaging area than that dinky 35mm cassette. Each of those 10 provides a lot more of tonal richness and depth than the best 35mm film can offer, regardless of red dot logo or not - and if you don't screw up. Practically, 6x7 is just a lot more forgiving for digitization and post. I use a very nice Nikon CS9000 dedicated scanner, but a cheap Epson V600 flatbed can be serviceable.
Thanks for listening to me ramble on about my favorite camera as an excuse to show my most recent photos taken with it!

Thank you! Yes, it’s very difficult to capture the character from film on digital, hoping the prices drop as well!
M6 is a dream camera for sure. Congrats on snagging one. Enjoyed the photos and would love to go on a road trip to New Mexico in a Porsche!
Thank you! I’ll have a video on the trip and a lot of photos to share from it as well
@@lukasvanderlende Looking forward to it!

Haven’t gotten to shoot a new m6 but metering on mine from 85 is dead on
Very nice film images.
Thank you!

Can you suggest some cheaper options to improve photographic taste?
Any camera works! It’s more about practicing and taking photos everyday
Which film was used for the shots starting at 4:55?
Kodak gold
whats a slooz
It’s the viewfinder on top of the camera to give you the frame lines for wide angle lenses
Do you find yourself gravitating more to your M6 or M10?
My M6, but it’s close. I just love the process and result from film

Thanks! I tried the mamiya 7, great camera, preferred my M6
