Some people say they can't go tiny because they have a family. The Evans family shows that if you really desire to live and travel full time on the road, you can make it happen!

There's a difference between living and cramming people in a cuboid.
You think its healthy to live in that tiny baggage storage? Or no privacy for a 16yr old?
There's no apocalyptic situation outside to force so many people and animals in that tiny space
I support tiny living with only essential things but there's a limit.
This bus is only good for traveling.

There are a lot of big families on the road. And it's good for the kids, they experience more of what's important in life while learning to live with less stuff and becoming very good at getting along. They fly the nest better off for it. Anyone with lots of kids knows that they are often grumpy/fighting, bus or no bus - is just part of family life.

I grew up in a tiny home before it was “cool” with my parents, sister and two dogs. I loved it! Ignore all the judgy comments, it’s not for everyone but for my family it was heaven! I would have loved to live in a Skoolie as a kids and my kids have been begging my husband and I to live in a Skoolie, so we are are getting our house ready to sell and get our Skoolie! I will say living tiny and homeschooling made our family extremely close knit. My sister is truly my best friend and my mom and and I are best friends. There are so many wonderful lessons to learn when you stop working for “stuff” and start living for God and to create memories with your family!

Beautifully designed bus however, I’m really uncomfortable about their son sleeping in a storage compartment. There’s just not enough air in such a small enclosure even if there’s a hole in his ceiling. Apart from their son’s room, they have a wonderful setup and are Blessed to be living this kind of life. Now nearing 70, my ashes will go (better go) to a hidden mossy trimmed, huge pine lined pond deep in the Adironacks. Funny, at 14 I decided that...sat down, soaked in the heavenly, quiet, secluded peace where it seemed nothing else existed and said, "Wow, I wanna be here forever!" We should all feel that place in our souls.

I do have to say that their accommodations look the best out of any kids “rooms” I’ve seen so far....(like the parents who pretended that their children had a 3 level bunk bed, when in reality their youngest was sleeping under the bottom of the bed 🤦🏽‍♀️) Overall this is one of the best bus conversions I’ve seen!

The generator was way away from the bus. The propane was 2 storage compartments down. I had a 15 yr.old cousin die from carbon monoxide poisoning. She got cold camping went started the car w a generator rite outside the mixture of both her body couldn't handle after falling asleep. I would hope upon getting insurance this bus was inspected. I hope w the size of this bus they have more than one detector. I noticed his door was open from the outside so hopefully he is fine in the long term.

It amazes me that there is so little adventure in humans in this day and age.
You people cant imagine it because you are so deeply indoctrinated into the socially percieved "normal".
This family is having the time of their lives. They are spending more quality time with eachother than your programming would ever allow.
We intentionally live in a huge tent in a national park and homeschool. We are living the life people, what life are you really living?

Stacey Ogier there is a difference between adventure and practicality/safety, but they can do whatever they want, I suppose, but from our outside point of view it seems unpractical, that’s all.

    • @staceyogier6154
      @staceyogier6154 4 года назад +18

@@gwahbwahuwah1127 it is impractical to go to the effort of creating a family only to have the children you so pain stakingly raised for all of five years sent off to strangers for five days a week 6-8 hours a day. It is impractical to create a family only to work 5-7 days a week providing a certain kind of lifestyle for them that none of you really get to enjoy solo or as a group for any huge amount of time.
The picture of life that They have indoctrinated you into believing is "normal" is anything but. This socially percieved "normal" is an infant compared to the kind of life that we ourselves and these beautiful people are living. You are defending and promoting a life system that has barely been in action for a couple of hundred years. Look at the affects of this world today on the human, flora and fauna populations.
Just take a look, a proper look at their lives versus what you think is normal. Who has the better end of the stick?
