- Flying the new DJI MINI SE Drone in Oregon for a few days capturing some amazing footage while we explored the beautiful state of Oregon. The new 2.7K Resolution footage looks amazing. The Drone itself is very responsive especially in Sport Mode its a lot of fun to fly!

Thanks you so much! I didn’t know weather the 2.7k res would be smooth enough for what I am wanting, but I didn’t want to spend extra money on the mini 2. This was the perfect video for that considering most people will end up upscaling is to 4k. Decided to go with the Mini SE. thanks!

Is there a way to maximise your dynamic range when shooting? The drone only has a standard picture profile
not even 30 seconds in and I can already see that you are very skilled and watching you will teach me a few things and give me some ideas. Im new to drones. Your style is the style that I envision when my work. Anyways enjoyed the video

Looks awesome. Definitely a good upgrade from the Tello.
We had one of the original dji few years ago and then upgraded to one of the mavics but it broke last year.Sold it as parts & I’ve just brought this for my husband’s birthday as his gift. Looks like a game changer for entry level & definately a good move on DJI’s side of things. Looking forward to capturing footage and stills on it.

The footage is in Oregon, or at least some of it was filmed in Portland Oregon. I recognize the buildings from Downtown.

@@jairxxt007 Blz Jair, já fiz umas duas vezes, o primeiro voou foi tranquilo! Travou travou algumas vezes, no segundo nem conseguir voar direito, mas acho que foi porque no segundo a região tem muito minério aí aconteceu isso! Mas é um drone muito bom! Abraço meu amigo!
So I’ve seen the quality of the 2.7K videos differ in Amazon Reviews and in RUclips. I’m guessing Amazon Reviews cuts down on the quality of the video for some reason. I bought mine just now, comes in tomorrow. Super excited after seeing this!!!

When the wind picks up I do get less stable shots.
Obviously the footage and flying is amazing, my only question is that do you feel that 30 FPS is sufficient, or should I spring for one capable of 60 FPS

hi there, amazing piloting. I am looking at droning and wondering how you now rate the Se. the signal is a worry compared to the mini 2 but that is still expensive even though the mini 3 has come out. is the mini 2 worth extra saving for. cheers in advance
If u buy some antenna boosters for the mini se the signal strenght will be much better. But if u want to fly really far then save a little bit more up and get the mini 2. The mini 2 also goes slightly faster but the se is technically capable of going that fast. Other than that, they are very similar drones. The camera, although the mini 2 has got 4k, only makes a slight difference because both the cameras have the same sensor sizes

The 2 is quite a bit more expensive so maybe the Se with extenders will be a good starter drone and footage seems very good unless it's very heavily edited. I know they are far superior compared the the cheaper brands like Holystone and eachine . Thankyou again

Question! I’m new to all this stuff, I have a 4K camera and am looking at this drone, if I compile 4K footage with the 2.7k footage of the drone for a RUclips video will my 4K footage lose quality?

How did you make the camera go down to look at the water? I haven’t been able to Figure that out yet
Behind the record button on the controller in the left side of the controller there is a little wheel thingy and you can move that with your finger to move the gimbal up and down.

Hi! Not this drone. The DJI MINI 3 or MINI 3 Pro are the ones that have the vertical shooting feature. 👍🏻

It's basically a watered down no frills bare bones version of the mini2 with the original mini controller and wifi - NOT occusync, and NO 4k just 2.7K video. Only good thing is you can use litchi app with it to do their active track/follow me mode.
It has bottom sensors only.

They took the easy way out of the pressure to release something new. Not at all impressed. Nice footage though.
We do the best with what we got!
It's only $300! So it's affordable for beginners to give the drone hobby a shot with a quality drone as apposed to having to spend $1000+ for something decent or spending $100 or less and getting some unimpressive stuff to impress them with.

It's 300$ tho so for the price I would say it's worth it
i think it looks worse than my phantom 3 standard, i really do.
