Violet Evergarden (ヴァイオレット・エヴァーガーデン, Vaioretto Evāgāden?) is the titular protagonist of the Violet Evergarden series. She is a former child soldier who happens to be an orphan; she was enlisted in the Leidenschaftlich army and fought in the war, where she was treated as nothing more than a weapon because of her extraordinary fighting capabilities. After the war, Violet became an Auto Memories Doll at the CH Postal Company, seeking to understand the meaning of the words "I love you," which was said to her by the person she holds dearest, Gilbert Bougainvillea, during the War's final leg.

There's a scenario where violet has to save a girl she met during the travels, so she wears the clothes of the bad guys and saves the girl in the last moment, while saving her she hits the leader (female) in the stomach and everytime the leader gets up and says something violet hits her again and again until they escape successfully. Also violet in the novel, unlike the anime counter part, she uses guns and weapons which make for some really badass scenes tho she doesnt kill people she just uses the gun for self defense

@@LAfinnablow in this video you can assume its about war, but in the anime its about Violet and her journey to understand what "I love you" from the Major means, through the "Auto-Memory Doll", a mail company that writes letters for many purposes. One reason can be conveying your emotions through those letters. The anime focus on how Violet finds her purpose in life, not as a weapon but as a human being. Def my fav anime of all time so far, 10/10.

Violet Fr might just be one of my favorite characters and she shows such immense character development and I just think it’s so beautiful when she finally finds out

The way she tried to use her mouth to pull her major to safety before he disappeared, and the way she bit that stuffed animal and other things always broke my heart 😭 because the habit always seemed like it came from when she tried to save him

it was a for long distance run i believe , since it sorts of relax your muscles for running therefore you can run longer while saving energy

Well, she is the main character, but yeah, basically.
This Anime is the only thing that made me genuinely cry. Forget Dumbo, forget Logan, forget the ending of The Adventures pf Puss in Boots. This is true material where you can cry your soul out.

The best thing about Violet Evergarden is that she have metal arms as the counterpart of the Armor Titan just protecting herself and she becomes badass because she is similar like a character from the Fate anime series. This is my own good opinion.

@@avatartings2105 hey same. I haven't watched anime in like 10 years and because of quarantine I decided to watch some again. I haven't checked any of the new ones yet though. I just rewatched some old ones that I remember I liked like Naruto, Code Geass and Inuyasha. I would also recommend Seirei no Moribito, it's from 2007 but the animation is amazing especially the fight scenes. If someone told me it was new I would have believed them. The only newer one I just discovered is Dororo and I loved it also. Can't really find any good ones these days because I'm pretty picky so I just rewatch hehe. If you know about some good ones you can give me recommendations too whether old or new.

I remember one time being in a argument with a friend that punisher from live action/Netflix can beat Violet for some reason
In the light novel, there was one episode where a strange cult tricks her to travel to an island to be a sacrifice or something because they believed that she was the Goddess of War called Dianna because her looks and abilities are exactly like the descriptions in the folklore. The truth behind her origins wasn't confirmed, just speculations, but it was an interesting chapter and Violet helps a girl escape the cult I think.
When i saw her first she legit looked like saber from fate/stay night and both of their characteristics are also kinda similar
Violet is best girl in anime you can't change my mind and wait till you read novel she is more badass there
