今まで｢この作品を見ないと人生損してる｣や、｢この作品を見てから人生が変わった｣というような作品を多く見てきましたが、正直、どれもそこまで感じることはありませんでした。
しかし、この『ヴァイオレットエヴァーガーデン』という作品は心の底からそのように思いました。

4 years have passed since the first episode of Violet Evergarden was published. But this anime still keeps it’s beauty to shine through the wall of time. In my point of view, this is the greatest, the most heartwarming movie ever and it never fades.

My parents said that watching anime series doesn't make sense, anime is not real, and they are for kids😔 but for me it's not, anime for all ages, and anime teaches me A LOT OF things about LIFE😊
lot of them made by depression & a dream that never came true, so when we watching them we can get those feels and being depressed too.

Anime may not be real but theres things real life actors cant do that animation can add that with amazing storytelling voice acting and just the characters in general is better than real tv movies etc and its beautiful makes them feel more alive than real people and anime characters can be perfect unlike real people but they aren't always perfect and that humanizes them more and thats just anime you need to watch it for yourself to understand it I love anime for it they can do so much that actors cant and still feel more alive

I remember the days when I would use to watch and listen to this video almost all the time, Back in my healthy and active days with average grades. Now in 2020 I'm failing everything and being unhealthy with no motivation. And being scared that I wouldn't pass the next grade and having several teachers be disappointed in me. Its nice to see this again it makes me wanna keep trying.
I’m also in your situation. I’m happy to see it’s not just me who is struggling with school and life. My Mom died and I don’t have any reason to continue to go to school. But if there’s something or someone to help me cope with the unforgiving world, I’ll have to stay determine and keep moving forward. For the sake of my Me and my Moms memories.

The impact this anime left on me is… I don’t know how to describe it but I watched it about a week after my 8 year old cousin sis passed away due to brain cancer and watching episode 7 made me think of how hard it must’ve been for my uncle and it got me in tears man. A very impactful anime

I was a bully in my highschool days, there was this classmate of mine who I often bully almost everyday becuz of his looks (he always wear colored wig and sometimes cartoon clothing, he was very weird), It got to the point that he had stop going to school and I found out that he had been very sick because of not eating and secluding himself to his room............. I felt guilty tbh and so I went to their house, talk to his parents, admit everything that Ive done (his dad almost punch me in the face), I went to his room just to say sorry, I opened the door and saw him watching an anime (from that time I dont know what anime was) he was wearing a headset so he did not notice me,...... I tried to tap his shoulder however, in an instant, my attention change to the anime that he was watching, it was so interesting, after a couple of minutes of watching, he now noticed me then he got surprised, stumbled on his chair, he was very afraid to the point that he wants to cry.... I immedietly get on my knees, I begged for his forgiveness, he punched me multiple times, I allowed it cuz I know how frustrated he was... after that, we had a talk, he asked me so many questions why I bully him, I answered everything then after that, I asked him if possible to borrrow some of his CDs of anime becuz Im so interested with it, he glady lend me so many anime series of CDs, he explained to me everything about anime world (tbh I was so amazed back then, I always thought that anime was only a cartoon)
Many months gone by, we became best of friends 😅, for me as a bully turned to be an OTAKU, and I love it, anime change me to be a better person.... and now we have both families and im now an 38 y/o guy, still watching anime with my son 😁
I hope every bully person will also change like me...

violet evergarden is the best thing that happened to me. throughout the anime,each episode had a different story in store that never failed to leave me in tears and made me experience multiple emotions at once. i enjoyed both the movies,and can't express how happy I was to see Violet and Gilbert finally reunited at last. since childhood,Violet was used and was treated like a doll. she didn't know emotions and didn't know anything but to fight. but after Gilbert's death,she set out on a journey to understand human emotions. to understand what 'i love you' meant. this anime teaches a lot of things,and all in all is a masterpiece. thankyou for gifting us with such a great anime,Violet Evergarden.

I wrote a poem while listening to this song so if you would like to read it:
Sometimes the hue of my eyes start to disappear and become desperate for any light even though I never show the lemon acid pouring out of my heart and eyes. I feel like the juice has been rubbed in every wound I've ever had. On that day I will never forget how a lemon tree started growing in my heart. The days grew long and I could feel it grow branch by branch poking holes through my heart until the skin popped. Even if I want a butterfly to approach me I will need to rip this sour lemon out of me. I am so thankful I have you. You are the only one who won't leave my putrid heart behind. No matter what happens, even though today's society rejects me, thank you for loving me without any change. On that day my lemon heart wasn't a curse but a blessing even though I will disappear from this world one day. Thank you because my heart, which is a lemon, stopped pouring out sour liquids and blossomed into a cherry blossom tree shaking the world with all the vibrant colors which were all produced from you. Without you my leaves would have never grown and the flowers would have never bloomed.

I watched Violet Evergarden last November 2023 out of curiosity even if I'm not a fan of the genre because I thought this was the official song for the Anime. Never did I expect it will be one of the most emotionally impactful anime I've watched and the VA of Violet was Mikasa Ackerman (Yui Ishikawa) too. It was such a masterpiece!
