How did you drain the coolant? Did you reuse the coolant or replace it? Thanks.
Just removed the flange n let it drip, most of it was out anyways due to leak. I just added more after fix.
Thanks. I jacked up the drivers side of the car and not very much coolant came out.
The pipe on 2:15 that to the right is from torpedo wall right? the lower pipe. form torpedo wall to cooler flange ? is it like that? the hose on 0:40 you see that there .
haven't looked at it myself but on diagram it shows it as oil cooler hose
@@thebrain7693it was nr 37 water hose that one to right on VW passat B6 tdi, itswater hose to egr and too the flange.
I have the same car and the coolant is leaking somewhere. Can you share how you diagnosed the problem that led you to change this part? Thanks!
It's kinda hard to see but if u shine the light between engine n battery you'll see it wet n steaming there. Mirror might help.
It’s a long shot but if you still have this car I need some help with reconnecting the vacuum lines
