    How did you drain the coolant? Did you reuse the coolant or replace it? Thanks.

      Just removed the flange n let it drip, most of it was out anyways due to leak. I just added more after fix.

      Thanks. I jacked up the drivers side of the car and not very much coolant came out.

    The pipe on 2:15 that to the right is from torpedo wall right? the lower pipe. form torpedo wall to cooler flange ? is it like that? the hose on 0:40 you see that there .

      haven't looked at it myself but on diagram it shows it as oil cooler hose

      @@thebrain7693it was nr 37 water hose that one to right on VW passat B6 tdi, itswater hose to egr and too the flange.

      It's kinda hard to see but if u shine the light between engine n battery you'll see it wet n steaming there. Mirror might help.
