Morning Danny, the fact you say 'I have failed' when your student was still struggling after a lesson with you is why you are such a great teacher. Looking forward to seeing you get a million plus subs 👍🏻
Thank you for another great, very helpful video. As a retired teacher like you I had to adjust my teaching to suit a wide range of pupils. YOU DID NOT FAIL. You realised you had to alter your excellent advice to suit your client. That is NOT FAILING but showing you cared & was determined to help your pupil. Some so called pros are keen to take the money & NOT care. I really appreciate the excellent practice plans.
The best driver fix video I've seen on RUclips. Took these tips/ drills to driving range, and within 15 minutes I was hitting much more consistent, on target drives. Cheers Danny, you're a legend!
This is the best-ever video of the Driver Swing. I watched this a few times but I didn't really get it until today. It was my ego that prevented me from the effortless swing instead I always hit hard at the ball but the outcome wasn't great. Yesterday I practised it in the garden without a ball around 100 times. Then the penny dropped and I took it to the course today. My first tee shot on Par 4 was by the side of the green. Since then my longest tee shots on the fairways and the carry was about 250 yards. I didn't make any effort and the ball flew away. Thank you, Danny.
Danny, it is truly revealing. I am able to clearly understand the true keys to naturally move my drive, I think that indeed it is more a question of fixing sensations than of thinking about how I have to hit the ball. Gracias!!
Watched this video last night and took it to practise field and a few holes today.... What can I say....the lead left shoulder taking control of the swing did it for me, hit some big drives out of the middle and no slice. Very very happy. Watched some other videos and they're great, will definitely watch more.
This is the first driver drill that has sorted me out instantly - amazing and effortless. The driver swing has never felt so easy. Thank you Danny 🙏🏻👍🏼
Watched a few of your videos and made some swing adjustments. The difference it made in my swing is incredible. Thanks for making great videos with simple instruction!
I love your swing Mr. Maude! It is different than a lot of other golfers I see. But, it looks simple and beautiful, imo You are an inspiration to hack golfers, like myself, to learn a proper swing
As a bang average golfer, these visualisation videos are perfect to learn from. It’s the little tweaks like knuckles facing the floor etc...that help the most. 👍🏻
Peter Jackson Good morning Danny I am 75 years old this month, playing off a 14HC. I have been struggling with my game over the lockdown periods. Following your “ outstanding tuition” in particular the concept of momentum with driver swing and methods of allowing me to turn be more fully has given me an extra 15 yards which are straight, with a draw! Broke 80 yesterday. The ways you explain the golf swing, throwing a ball for example set you apart from other instructors. My golf swing is so much more natural
Watched this & really improved my drive literally overnight & I'm a beginner but wow what a difference it made. I was slicing with no great distance. After putting this into practice drive is 200+yards & I have much more control of position of play. Very impressed & really appreciate the advice in the video. Yes I have subscribed! Thank you again for your assistance 🤘
I'm not sure if you'll ever see this because it's an old video, but this is the one. This is the one that finally clicked for me today. I hit the best drives I have ever hit in my entire life. They weren't all perfect today, but I could definitely tell the immediate improvement and I was able to recognize what I was doing wrong on most of the bad ones! Thank you so much!
One of the best driver training videos I have ever seen. For the first time I have started to feel comfortable with my swing. I still have a lot to learn but this is a real game changer. Genius 👏👏👏👏
What a great video! Succinctly summarizes a successful swing strategy! I practiced these steps this week and applied them on the course yesterday. On 5 separate holes I hit the best drives I can recall on a course I have been playing regularly for 10 years. Bravo Master Maude!!
Danny, I am a 66 year old golfer. I started watching your videos about 2 months ago. Your lessons have increased my driver yardage by a bunch, I am averaging about 280 yards. My irons are still a work in progress but much improved. Thank you and I look forward to more help.
Hey Danny! Went driving for the first time yesterday and actually impressed my friend I was able to hit straight and consistently my first time, all thanks to your tips!
Danny, your description of techniques just make sense to me. I’ve watched many instructors on RUclips but none of them made sense like your videos. I saw. So much improvement after your Your Easy to Learn Driver Swing Practice Plan. I’m not fully there yet but I’m heading in the right direction. Thank you.
Danny: I'm one of those older guys with stiffness. But your swing drills for making the body move with the club's momentum is the easiest example I have seen. Will try it and keep in touch
Danny - Best tips on the web. Your a great teacher. Wish I could come see you in person! Will settle for videos and practice plan. Plus send all my friends to your website.
You really helped me with my driver slice. I was coming down on the ball and hitting it with an open face. I had never thought about why or the mechanics of the swing until I listened to your channel. Thankfully now that I know know how it works I can fix what the problem is and recognize what I'm doing wrong. It has also helped me with my shot making. I'm still Struggling with consistency hitting the ball pure with my irons but watching your channel I have all the confidence in the world that I'll fix that sooner than later.
This absolutely works. I worked all through lock down doing your “catapult out of control “ exercises in the garden and took them to the course successfully but last week I “lost” my swing trying to add distance to my newly found consistent ball striking. I revisited your old catapult video and now my sequence is reset and I can feel the club head again. The “feel” is I’m swinging at 75% but the “real” is my drives are averaging 250 yards. You cleared my head .....again ! Thanks Danny, btw I’m 67 years old index 11.4
Hi Danny, thank you, Slicer 25 years, worked with it, hitting left to land right, just seen this video last week, first four holes same old,,,, and then it kick in, Thank you again, Still haven't got the draw I want, but hitting straight. Brilliant.
Danny That was an excellent piece for me. I played golf this morning and watched this RUclips videos by chance. Keeping the image in mind I got my rhythm back and hit 12 out of 15 fairways and played to my handicap. First time in ages Many thanks for this wonderful tip.
Thank you so much Danny. Your video last week gave me exactly what I needed. I was “manufacturing” a swing but this week I experienced the swing like I never have.
Danny. Appreciate all of the quality content. I always come back to this video when my driver goes wrong and I start hitting those blocky right shots. Cheers!
This was simply the most effective golf tip I have ever received. Watched this video, went to the range a few days later and never hit my driver straighter or further with less effort. The visualization of using the momentum of the club head has changed my life lol let’s hope I can do it again on the next try. That’s the true test
This is probably one of the best and simplest driver swing videos online, if you can get this foundation right and not fight the club you are on your way.
Great video Danny I will try this out. I am a senior golfer who needs help with my driving as I slice the ball a lot so let’s hope I can improve with some of your coaching. Thanks
Just in from golf today. A very tidy 2 under today Danny, and the driver(Bridgestone)was key, just flushed it off the tee. It makes the game so much easier when playing from the fairway and very little noise in your head. Your course looks amazing btw.
I usually hit a huuuge slice, but after watching this and a few range sessions I could really feel the weight of the club and it helped so much. on an outing I played afterwards I was hitting 280 yard high draws all day! Jaws of everyone on my scramble team was on the floor the whole round, completely different person than usual
I think Paul may have been part of the 4 with me in one of Your academy sessions- really pleased you got him sorted. Would live to have seen the actual video of him before during and after 👌🏼👏🏼
this is a fantastic video. I went to the range twice with these thoughts in mind, then played a round today and I don't think I've ever hit the ball better in my life. As Mr. Maude says: you're body already knows how to generate momentum. Thanks!!!
Wished u loved in the states love your teaching methods , let your body natural moves work for you an just swing through it , practiced this today in this southern heat , that being said I was releasing the club head letting my body do its trick an just swing the club. Great method
excellent video, I will apply it tomorrow on the field of play, I hope to continue learning and improving, because at the end of the year my handicap should be below 18. Thank you very much
Hi Danny, I have just tried this in the range and the results were superb. I am always gripping too hard and my swing looks wooden and lacks speed. This really loosens up my arms and my swing is much more powerful but with less effort. The reduction in effort also makes it easier to feel the club head and path and so I am more accurate. It's not very often you get more speed and more accuracy..... Many thanks.
This is really a game changer! It did help me a lot. I want to exercise this way before playing from now on , it helps me to get my body relaxed and flexible. Thank you !!
Awesome video! I my weekly 9-hole league, I find I "lose" my swing in the later holes as my body gets tired. But I continue to be encouraged as I watch your weekly videos. Your videos and now my weekly play are making me a better golfer. Cheers!!
1 week ago I was fumming with my golf performance im a 18-20 hcp but I felt like I was sinking back down to high 20s but after finding this channel by luck Danny has changed my game playing alot more consistent and starting to love the golf again. Afew video ideas I would love to see would be some long iron play and a short game masterclass. Thanks for all the help Danny you have saved me 100s of pound by not spending it on new clubs or lessons. Keep up the good work 👏
Thanks Danny, your right,it works! I now sense what momentum is! I also understand what you mean by “taking a risk”,”playing like a kid again”. Still a long way to go to get greater consistency but when I get it right it’s magic! (73 yr.old)👍
DANNY i am just a french senior player(hcp 1) ,and beetween your catapult video and this one , i know you are the best for me one more please BEST REGARDS
I'm 66 and had that wooden swing all my life. That combined with a few dozen swing thoughts would rob me of significant power. Went out the other day and stunned my buddies with the extra distance from this effortless swing. Added an extra 20-30 yards with my driver and an extra 10--20 with my irons. Another bonus is a beautiful ball flight. Danny has rejuvenated my game. So much fun to be right up there with my big hitting buddies
Love it, in fact you may have been teaching me directly. I tend to hold and steer the club. Got to say though as with many teaching points I feel they will gain me loads of yards until I realize a few. I’m afraid of using a rope as I might end up swaying a lot to keep the pesky thing from hanging me. Footie on Telly and Danny giving me a lesson how good do I have it. Leeds & Spurs 1x1 first half. Just rewatched this vid as Leeds 3x1 up, must say this might be the jewel in your crown! Discuss the throwing motion which for us over the toppers is usually an overhand and not turning right hand in the opposite direction of club travel.
Another great review, thanks! What would be really interesting would be if you could work with someone with a big slice, like your student Paul, on the video. It would be great to see how you transform someone's swing with this swing lesson. Can't wait to get out and try it myself! Momentum....
Another great one Danny. Tested it on the course today: sizzling drives, consistently beyond 200m. A couple of pushes, but may be alignment. THANK YOU!!!!!
Hi Danny, thank you for the great video. I have been watching a few of your videos recently and they are great. My practice swings seem really fluid and nice, but it all seems to change when a ball is in front of me 😄
Another great tip. I have been concentrating on trusting the club face. IOW, not trying to force my strength on the ball. I can’t wait to try this technique at the range. I usually drive between 175 and 225 yards but occasionally I will top 300 yards. I hope this technique helps
Ive been complimented recently on my driver swing by my partners , thats down to you Danny , id better watch your short game vids now as im seriously hopeless
Brilliant as usual Danny. In point 4 you mention turning the knuckles down to close the face at impact. The one previous piece of advice you gave with the driver was to close the head 20 degrees to cure the slice. That was , for me, an absolute game changer. Playing off 26 at age 72 it is not always perfect but last week I produced 2x240 and 2x220 that hit the fairway. There were of course a couple that managed to pass the ladies tee but that's golf!
Hi Danny, great video again, just one question.if you feel the release early in the downswing how can you achieve the catapult which you explained in previous videos.
Hi Danny, As usual and as one of my preffered weekend's routine, I watched your newest video. All looks so easy and powerful. I will try your tips tommorow on my next round....thanks a lot for the useful and great instructions!!! Golf can be so simple...:-)
Morning Danny I've only just started to play golf towards the end of last year I've had a cpl of lessons but just watching your videos and the way that you explain it has already made my shots further and straighter have you got any videos on putting and short game? keep up the great work
Danny, yes I get this now, in my last round I decided to relax, take the tension out of my forearms and just swing the club head. It’s definitely tension that is the killer for amateurs.
Fantastic video. I've been working through swing changes and this reminded me I was very "wooden". This freed me up so I was more aware of the club head helping my changes fall into place. Thank you
Excellent video Danny. I have felt the 'throwing/pushing away' motion' on my downswing occasionally, (usually on a good drive) but never realised it was a good feeling!! Similarly, turning the knuckles down to encourage the draw has been something I have felt before and I find it easier than the traditional 'roll the forearms' advice to stop a slice/cut. You are bringing some cracking, practical insights!!
Danny, coming off of 4 fractures on my vertebrae. Have been working on developing more of an effortless swing. This video along with many others that you’ve posted, are a game changer. Thanks for connecting with all of us!!
The driving lesson you taught. Where we look to the sky on the back swing and with the follow through was a game changer! I've only played 10-15 games of golf and I'm only behind my buddies a couple strokes. They've played for several years and with this new power.........Muahahahaha I'll be unstoppable!!! Ha no seriously though. Thanks for the videos!!I'm really enjoying golf and you're making the learning curve alot easier 🙏
Morning Danny, the fact you say 'I have failed' when your student was still struggling after a lesson with you is why you are such a great teacher. Looking forward to seeing you get a million plus subs 👍🏻
Thanks so much Steve, yes unfortunately I don’t always get it right. Will never stop trying though
In hospital with shoulder infection at the moment. So seeing that beautiful golf course was such a lift! And a brilliant lesson as well. Cheers Danny.
Hope you recover soon Ron

If something is really good a Yorkshire saying is ''NOT BAD' ' . That definitely applies to Danny.

Thank you John, have a great weekend

Hope they help you Jim 😁
Hope it helps Jim
Makes a lot of sense and it feels like something I can do (I'm a lefty and an older guy!). Going to practice this today.

Another simple vid Danny. Makes so much sense and perfect for us Senior golfers. Thanks mate.
Worked on this today, Danny. Step 4 is the tip I've been searching for. Thank you!
Oh my goodness! So simple, logical, and true! Smh mind blown at how this has dramatically changed my swing and my game. THANK YOU!

Really hope so Alan, have fun
Another simple, practical and outstanding guide - delivered generously with enthusiasm. Thanks so much Danny. Sooo helpful.. I have rope in the car.
Brilliant, would love for you to post some videos of you swinging the rope and post them over on my FB page
Just in from golf today. A very tidy 2 under today Danny, and the driver(Bridgestone)was key, just flushed it off the tee. It makes the game so much easier when playing from the fairway and very little noise in your head. Your course looks amazing btw.

Another great review, thanks! What would be really interesting would be if you could work with someone with a big slice, like your student Paul, on the video. It would be great to see how you transform someone's swing with this swing lesson. Can't wait to get out and try it myself! Momentum....
That would be cool!
Danny you are simply the best thank you for sharing your knowledge, your lessons have helped me enjoy the game and want to play more.
My pleasure, really pleased they are helping
Danny, great video as always. Have never found the description box!!
Love the athletic approach to the swing.
Hope it helps
Another great one Danny. Tested it on the course today: sizzling drives, consistently beyond 200m. A couple of pushes, but may be alignment.
THANK YOU!!!!!
well done Pascal
Hi Danny, thank you for the great video. I have been watching a few of your videos recently and they are great. My practice swings seem really fluid and nice, but it all seems to change when a ball is in front of me 😄
Spend some time on the practice ground where it doesn’t matter so much developing a feel
Another great tip. I have been concentrating on trusting the club face. IOW, not trying to force my strength on the ball. I can’t wait to try this technique at the range. I usually drive between 175 and 225 yards but occasionally I will top 300 yards. I hope this technique helps
Very useful, thank you very much for the tip Danny. Just ask about the hip, if it rotates at the same time with the body & arm.
Ive been complimented recently on my driver swing by my partners , thats down to you Danny , id better watch your short game vids now as im seriously hopeless
Really happy to help Robert
Brilliant as usual Danny. In point 4 you mention turning the knuckles down to close the face at impact. The one previous piece of advice you gave with the driver was to close the head 20 degrees to cure the slice. That was , for me, an absolute game changer. Playing off 26 at age 72 it is not always perfect but last week I produced 2x240 and 2x220 that hit the fairway. There were of course a couple that managed to pass the ladies tee but that's golf!
Amazing! Well done Tony, thanks for sharing
Hi Danny, great video again, just one question.if you feel the release early in the downswing how can you achieve the catapult which you explained in previous videos.
Absolutely Paul, remember the catapult is the release. It’s just a matter of feeling when. This feeling is different for us all
Hi Danny,
As usual and as one of my preffered weekend's routine, I watched your newest video. All looks so easy and powerful. I will try your tips tommorow on my next round....thanks a lot for the useful and great instructions!!! Golf can be so simple...:-)
Awesome! Thank you!
Brilliant!!! Best driver video I've come across.
Thanks Dewayne 😁
Fantastic video. I've been working through swing changes and this reminded me I was very "wooden". This freed me up so I was more aware of the club head helping my changes fall into place. Thank you
Thanks Danny!! This video helped me tremendously! Your videos really help!
That’s great, thanks for letting me know Dan
Excellent video Danny. I have felt the 'throwing/pushing away' motion' on my downswing occasionally, (usually on a good drive) but never realised it was a good feeling!! Similarly, turning the knuckles down to encourage the draw has been something I have felt before and I find it easier than the traditional 'roll the forearms' advice to stop a slice/cut. You are bringing some cracking, practical insights!!
Really happy to help Alan
step 3.. Excellent way to explain it.
Thank you 🙏
Danny, coming off of 4 fractures on my vertebrae.
Thanks Danny. Using the thought 'momentum' from last week made my irons seem a lot easier. Cant wait for tomorrows game... !!
Great videos as always.
Good luck Leo Have fun
Hi Dan, what are your thoughts about the orange whip? Have you done a video one? Tnx
