Thank you for another great, very helpful video.
As a retired teacher like you I had to adjust my teaching to suit a wide range of pupils.
YOU DID NOT FAIL. You realised you had to alter your excellent advice to suit your client.
That is NOT FAILING but showing you cared & was determined to help your pupil.
Some so called pros are keen to take the money & NOT care.
I really appreciate the excellent practice plans.

This is the best-ever video of the Driver Swing. I watched this a few times but I didn't really get it until today. It was my ego that prevented me from the effortless swing instead I always hit hard at the ball but the outcome wasn't great. Yesterday I practised it in the garden without a ball around 100 times. Then the penny dropped and I took it to the course today. My first tee shot on Par 4 was by the side of the green. Since then my longest tee shots on the fairways and the carry was about 250 yards. I didn't make any effort and the ball flew away. Thank you, Danny.

Danny, it is truly revealing. I am able to clearly understand the true keys to naturally move my drive, I think that indeed it is more a question of fixing sensations than of thinking about how I have to hit the ball. Gracias!!

Watched this video last night and took it to practise field and a few holes today.... What can I say....the lead left shoulder taking control of the swing did it for me, hit some big drives out of the middle and no slice. Very very happy. Watched some other videos and they're great, will definitely watch more.

    Good morning Danny
I am 75 years old this month, playing off a 14HC. I have been struggling with my game over the lockdown periods. Following your “ outstanding tuition” in particular the concept of momentum with driver swing and methods of allowing me to turn be more fully has given me
an extra 15 yards which are straight, with a draw! Broke 80 yesterday.
The ways you explain the golf swing, throwing a ball for example set you apart from other instructors. My golf swing is so much more natural

You really helped me with my driver slice. I was coming down on the ball and hitting it with an open face. I had never thought about why or the mechanics of the swing until I listened to your channel. Thankfully now that I know know how it works I can fix what the problem is and recognize what I'm doing wrong. It has also helped me with my shot making. I'm still Struggling with consistency hitting the ball pure with my irons but watching your channel I have all the confidence in the world that I'll fix that sooner than later.

This absolutely works. I worked all through lock down doing your “catapult out of control “ exercises in the garden and took them to the course successfully but last week I “lost” my swing trying to add distance to my newly found consistent ball striking. I revisited your old catapult video and now my sequence is reset and I can feel the club head again. The “feel” is I’m swinging at 75% but the “real” is my drives are averaging 250 yards. You cleared my head .....again ! Thanks Danny, btw I’m 67 years old index 11.4

Hi Danny, I have just tried this in the range and the results were superb. I am always gripping too hard and my swing looks wooden and lacks speed. This really loosens up my arms and my swing is much more powerful but with less effort. The reduction in effort also makes it easier to feel the club head and path and so I am more accurate. It's not very often you get more speed and more accuracy.....
    Many thanks.

I'm 66 and had that wooden swing all my life. That combined with a few dozen swing thoughts would rob me of significant power. Went out the other day and stunned my buddies with the extra distance from this effortless swing. Added an extra 20-30 yards with my driver and an extra 10--20 with my irons. Another bonus is a beautiful ball flight. Danny has rejuvenated my game. So much fun to be right up there with my big hitting buddies

Love it, in fact you may have been teaching me directly. I tend to hold and steer the club. Got to say though as with many teaching points I feel they will gain me loads of yards until I realize a few. I’m afraid of using a rope as I might end up swaying a lot to keep the pesky thing from hanging me. Footie on Telly and Danny giving me a lesson how good do I have it. Leeds & Spurs 1x1 first half. Just rewatched this vid as Leeds 3x1 up, must say this might be the jewel in your crown! Discuss the throwing motion which for us over the toppers is usually an overhand and not turning right hand in the opposite direction of club travel.

Another great one Danny. Tested it on the course today: sizzling drives, consistently beyond 200m. A couple of pushes, but may be alignment.
    THANK YOU!!!!!

Hi Danny, thank you for the great video. I have been watching a few of your videos recently and they are great. My practice swings seem really fluid and nice, but it all seems to change when a ball is in front of me 😄

Spend some time on the practice ground where it doesn’t matter so much developing a feel

Another great tip. I have been concentrating on trusting the club face. IOW, not trying to force my strength on the ball. I can’t wait to try this technique at the range. I usually drive between 175 and 225 yards but occasionally I will top 300 yards. I hope this technique helps

Very useful, thank you very much for the tip Danny. Just ask about the hip, if it rotates at the same time with the body & arm.

Brilliant as usual Danny. In point 4 you mention turning the knuckles down to close the face at impact. The one previous piece of advice you gave with the driver was to close the head 20 degrees to cure the slice. That was , for me, an absolute game changer. Playing off 26 at age 72 it is not always perfect but last week I produced 2x240 and 2x220 that hit the fairway. There were of course a couple that managed to pass the ladies tee but that's golf!

Hi Danny, great video again, just one question.if you feel the release early in the downswing how can you achieve the catapult which you explained in previous videos.

    • @DanielMaude
      @DanielMaude  3 года назад

Absolutely Paul, remember the catapult is the release. It’s just a matter of feeling when. This feeling is different for us all

Morning Danny I've only just started to play golf towards the end of last year I've had a cpl of lessons but just watching your videos and the way that you explain it has already made my shots further and straighter have you got any videos on putting and short game? keep up the great work

Danny, yes I get this now, in my last round I decided to relax, take the tension out of my forearms and just swing the club head. It’s definitely tension that is the killer for amateurs.

Fantastic video. I've been working through swing changes and this reminded me I was very "wooden". This freed me up so I was more aware of the club head helping my changes fall into place. Thank you

Excellent video Danny. I have felt the 'throwing/pushing away' motion' on my downswing occasionally, (usually on a good drive) but never realised it was a good feeling!! Similarly, turning the knuckles down to encourage the draw has been something I have felt before and I find it easier than the traditional 'roll the forearms' advice to stop a slice/cut. You are bringing some cracking, practical insights!!

Danny, coming off of 4 fractures on my vertebrae. Have been working on developing more of an effortless swing. This video along with many others that you’ve posted, are a game changer. Thanks for connecting with all of us!!

The driving lesson you taught. Where we look to the sky on the back swing and with the follow through was a game changer! I've only played 10-15 games of golf and I'm only behind my buddies a couple strokes. They've played for several years and with this new power.........Muahahahaha I'll be unstoppable!!! Ha no seriously though. Thanks for the videos!!I'm really enjoying golf and you're making the learning curve alot easier 🙏
