  • Some golf tips just make the golf swing easier to learn and this golf tips does just that.
It was funny, I was trying to come up for a title for this weeks video and I really struggled. Mainly because I know it's helped my students improve so many things.
    Things like:
    How to release the club
    How to compress your irons
Improving your impact position so you can hit the ball straighter
It even helps you to improve your backswing!
The crazy thing is it requires just a simple change to the position of your trail arm at the start of your golf swing and at the impact position
If you can learn the feel of this you will instantly begin to see the benefits...particularly with the consistency of strike with both your driver and you're irons.
If you ever find yourself a bit wristy and using too much arms I think you will love the impact this has on your game.
    PRACTICE PLAN
This will be released on Monday 19th July. Apologies for the short delay. Danny is currently at the Open Championship

    ABOUT DANNY
    -----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On RUclips and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

You're videos are always timely. I just "discovered" this feeling and it made a world of difference to my swing and follow-through. I was excessively drawing/hooking shots, so I spent a day trying to fade it. The swing I use for that is exactly what you're describing in this video, "feeling" like my right hand/forearm are twisted more clockwise through impact. Before this, my follow-through (and consistency) were horrible. Now, I've (mostly) eliminated the hooks and finish my swing with a great follow-through.

Quite possibly the best tip for keeping me down and in the shot that I have ever heard. Takes so much of the guessing out of the down swing. Real power and consistency in the strike are right there swing after swing with just one swing thought. Knock-on effects of this one thought include a shorter and more connected backswing, passive clearing of the hips, low hands and ubiquitous side bend and rolling over the forearms through the zone. Thanks Danny, this one is gold.

Have done this elbow thing for a long time and hitting them really pure...lately I have been suffering from the shank (really bad, considering giving up the game altogether) then I watched this and realised what has snucked into my swing.. went to the driving range this morning and tried to practise only this elbow thing.. w o w..the shank was totally gone! Great explanation Danny, another Coach Eric Cogorno has discussed the same thing and both of you have a way of simplifying things which is great. I focused on this and keeping my R/elbow in front of my R/hip throughout. I could hardly believe the power and accuracy. I was making Par 5 holes in 2 (never done that before) and hit my first genuine 300yd drive which felt awesome. Thanks Danny.

Nuevamente Gracias.

Danny as always your videos seem to follow my weekly struggles. I look forward to getting the practice plan and I will try these drills today when I get to the range. This may explain why I have been pulling so many of my iron shots.

Great day !!! I'm 72 years old, I played chateau des Vigiers this morning 18 holes "la vallée et les vignes" and scored +7 my better score ever !! Thanks to your great golf lesson. It's just changed my swing it's so much better and straighter. Thank you so much !! 😊 I shall enjoy some Bordeaux wine tonight...

Wasn’t sure about this but tried it as wasn’t connecting well with irons on par threes. Results have been amazing. Just achieved my lowest gross score of 79 which included a birdie on a par three I have been struggling with. Yes I have been playing regularly and practising but Danny deserves the credit for giving me this swing thought which has taken my iron play to a new level.

I suffer from a never-ending slice for all but my wedges. I tried this arm position at the range tonight. 90% dead straight across 200 balls. I am so happy. My irons are digging in a little but I can adjust that. The hybrids, woods and driver strikes are so great now. Thank you. Can't wait to get out on the course this weekend.
