I loved the McKinley Monument and the adjacent Museum when I was growing up in the 1960s-1970s, especially the Planetarium. The nearby parks were great. I visited the Museum last in 2013.
Too loud and distracting from your commentary. I think you need something calmer and softer because of all the information you are sharing and we are trying to absorb.
I like everything Canton has to offer. Canton is one of the more booming cities in the country and has something to offer for everyone, whether it’s great food, the downtown arts scene, the football Hall of Fame, or the amount of business that are continuing to grow in the area. I feel like this is an area I can’t settle down in, and have unlimited potential to experience just about anything.
Thank you for the compliment. I will scale the music back. I put soundtracks in because they give the video a little better vibe, but I will lower the volume on them.
Thank you for the heads up. I noticed that in several parts of the video after I uploaded it to RUclips. That is being adjusted for future videos. Have a great night.
Our board and MLS are not fond of us giving opinions about specific districts, but I would be happy to just give an overall view of some of them in a video. My kids have gone to Green (right on the border of Stark and Summit counties) as well as Jackson, and we have personally had great experiences with both. Stay out of Canton City schools system. High student to teacher ratio. Better to get into the townships. Jackson, Perry, or Plain Local Schools. I've lived here 46 of my 50 years.

Thank you for you service. I appreciate the sacrifice military members, like yourself, for our country. I moved to Ohio quite a few years ago and it has definitely grown on me. Just like anybody else, I can make many things I would change, but overall, I believe it’s a good place to live. Where are you stationed now?
Awesome! Much warmer there most days, compared to here. Just out of curiosity, if you decided to leave Ohio and don’t plan on coming back, how did you come across my channel?
Canton has many great suburbs, and also has some areas that are not for some people. I would recommend looking up some local statistics to make you feel comfortable with any decision you make. I have a friend that works at the HOF, and enjoys it.
Sorry to hear the job wasn’t the ideal fit. I definitely would recommend visiting the Hall of Fame. It’s a cool experience. I hope you found a job that was a great fit for you.
@@livinginnortheastohio yea maybe to somebody from like Wooster Ashtabula or Mansfield but for somebody like me who's from Ohio's world class largest most predominant alpha city Cleveland I'd beg to differ
Well put together and informative, but music almost drove me nuts.
I’m always looking at improving things. What about the music drove you nuts?

I would agree that the monument is a good place to visit.
We are new to canton. Would love to hear more about fun attractions and events!
Welcome to the area. What kind of activities do you like, and I may be able to point you in the right direction.
Good video but HORRIBLE background music.
What about the music didn’t you like?

This video was made two years ago. Is it still current for 2024?
Many things are still relevant today. I am going to start doing some more videos to update what was posted over a year ago.
Asking for a friend…if an interviewer asks what do you like about canton ohio? Why do you want to move here?…what would you say?

Bro, great content and info, but could you turn down that annoying soundtrack?

@@livinginnortheastohio It’s not so much the volume, but it’s more that your voice and narration create the vibe.
That makes sense. Thanks for the input, and I think compliment. lol.
@@livinginnortheastohio Yes, very much a compliment because your voice outshines the soundtrack.
Thank you.
The background music is too loud!

Could you please do a video about the schools/school districts in Stark county?

I guess it depends on your perception. The people I know that live around the Jackson area, seem to love it.
Was born there. Got out as fast as I could. Basically, the whole state of Ohio is a giant 👎
At what age did you leave Ohio?

No more than any other town. Be careful of course, but I think it is fairly safe overall.
Great response. I personally love some things about Canton, and there are things I am not a fan of, but that will be with any city.
