    You are lying about the closed up buildings on the East end in Akron. I live here and all that stuff is new and expensive. What are you talking about?

    Like any city, you just exercise caution in certain areas at different times of day. All the crime is in certain bad areas. Akronites know whats up.

    Downtown and then headed toward Ellet. You didn't even go through AKRON Akron. That building to the right with all the windows busted was the Goodyear plant and it's been that way for decades. Should have made a right at that light before that bridge. You would have seen why Akron is dangerous 😂

    Akron has some really beautiful architecture...but when I was watching I kept getting flashes of images from the series "Earth After People". If the current economy and flawed leadership don't change they are going to be a lot of lots where they had to tear buildings down for neglect.
    Love,
    David

    Once any city hits 30% crime lovers, it is beyond the point of no return. The most successful people leave. The losers stay.

    Lol, you give statistics to The bad parts of Akron, then don't even drive to those areas of the city. When you was on main Street if you would of just drove straight another 2 blocks you would of been at least where the bars are at. Where some of the shootings happened. And would of seen what shares space in downtown. Then going up E. Market you first mention here's a couple buildings boarded up. They're not boarded up there are construction workers there remodeling the buildings. I suggest you get an idea about a city before going there and assume things about what you see and relate it to the statistics you get to the little area you see. Can you see where the phrase Misinformation starts? That's what you did gave Misinformation

  • @boldenandbolden
    @boldenandbolden 6 месяцев назад +2

    And you didn’t even go into the bad areas of the city try Arlington Street go up west market.

    I was born in Akron at St. Thomas, my mother watched the Y bridge being built while I was being born in 1981, I grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and I still work here, Akron is my stomping ground, I know the city like the back of my hand, while the city has it's faults and flaws, it's home!! and I've never had any problems, I used to walk downtown after hours, right now in '24 the main problem in the AK-ron is the road construction, it's getting to be rough getting around, the foreman for Kenmore Construction has a serious case of A.D.D because they work a lil here and a lil there one day and then they got every road shut down the next, CRAZY!!! other than that it's FAFO just like any other city, if you're out looking for trouble, you're going to find it, but if you mind yours then you'll be aiight ✌️

    I was born here in 1951. Moved to live in upstate N.Y. in 1971 and moved back here in 1982. Why did we come back? It's cheap to live here! We pay half for insurance, half the amount for utilities, half everything. You can eat, have a place to live and clothing on your back and not go broke! Akron's downtown is not too shabby. When it was bustling being the Rubber Capitol of the World, it was busy. This city has nothing to brag about, no sightseeing attractions, but you can make a decent living. We all know where the trouble areas are, but there are plenty of good places to live .........just sayin'.......

    💯 Yes we have gun play...but if you'd have done your research before doing this video, you'd know that our "gun deaths/ murder rate didn't spike until 2021! That's when the STATE passed their new CCW LAW 💯

    East Akron had all the tire companies manufacturing sites along with the neighborhoods for the workers. West Akron had the high end homes for the execs that didn't want to smell the tire factories. I lived around there in the 50's- 70's. I was just fine.
