- CNBC reporter Hadley Gamble interviewed Russian president Vladimir Putin in front of a live audience at a Russian Energy Week forum, but now state-run Russian media is accusing her of “positioning herself as a sex object” to throw off Putin. This comes after former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said in her new book that Putin once used an attractive translator to distract Trump at a 2019 summit.
He called her a beautiful woman and Western media immediately states it as sexism.
WTF is wrong with them?

I rewatched this video twice looking for Putin's "sexist remark". But of course, the U.S. media would never spread propaganda or falsely frame an event to angle it to their world view.
It's not a sexist remark if Putin would also congratulate a male reporter on his looks during an interview (yes, it is perfectly normal for a hetero man to admire the looks of another man). Otherwise, it is indeed a sexist remark (= "remark provoked by someone's sex"). Now, would he?

These remarks were not sexist, they were simply true. Her questions were very dumb and repetitive even when already responded to. Putin was right to describe her as what Americans call a bimbo.
