At that time iran was among the best countries in the world in terms of freedom. people could easily drink wine, throw parties, go to discos. Women could wear whatever they wanted. People were into marriage and family and most families had more than 2 children. Buying a house and car was possible if you had a good job. but today affording to buy even a small house is impossible. Damn, I had lived and worked in Riyadh for 31 years i.e., when it was still very conservative. MBS was only turning 3 years old at the time when I had set foot in KSA. My wife cannot even go out alone and cannot go without her abaya and veil. Anyway, I'm very grateful to KSA because they gave me the opportunity to worked and lived there with my wife as my dependent. Right now, we are already settled in our country, and we still have a good life because of them.
