To answer your question, I absolutely LOVE the Golden Girls. It's absolutely one of my favorite sitcoms of all time. I'm 49 and have been watching it since it was first on the air, and it still cracks me up. Even though I've seen every single episode and heard every single joke a gazillion times, I still bust a gut laughing. It's just a truly funny show with great characters and dialogue. It comes down to incredible writing and an amazing cast. The four actresses cast (Betty White, Rue McCallahan, Bea Arthur and Estelle Getty) were not only extremely gifted and talented in their own right, but also had incredible chemistry together, which made for a show that has stood the test of time.
Not only did I watch the original airing of the Golden Girls back in 1985 to 1992, I bought the CD sets of all of the seasons of The Golden Girls.. Although all of the 4 Leading Actresses on the show have passed away, The Golden Girls continues to be aired in re-runs now everyday on Cable TV on channels such as The Hallmark Channel and other tv cable channels

British Comedies, especially the successful ones in the US (those generally from the 70s, 80s, and 90s), seem to include a lot of comedic sexual innuendo. The character of Blanch, especially, is full of similar types of comedy. I’d be curious as to how Brits would react to especially her character.

I'm a crafter and love to build models so I preoccupy myself with ships and watch some real oldy goldy stuff I watch Sanford and son, all in the family, home improvement, inspector gadget, back to the future, the Poseidon adventure, titanic, etc, etc, etc. so I got every film in my film library from.
