But you guys have to admit that good old friends can make jokes and be "mean" and they still love each other!! Sarcasm rules!!!!! And also Maude was a spin off of All in the Family!! And Dorothy and Sophia are my favorites! ❤️❤️❤️
Fun Fact: Bea Arthur (Dorothy) joined the Marine Corps. She spent 1944 and 1945 at USMCAS (US Marine Corps Air Station) Cherry Point, North Carolina, where she worked as a driver and a dispatcher. Upon her discharge in September 1945, Arthur had reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. 😊 Stallone only took that role because ARNOLD said he was going to take it. (He lied on purpose)
Those ladies never fail to make me laugh! 😄 They were all savages when it came to the insults, but Blanche and Sophia were my faves at it. Overall, though, Rose is my favorite GG. Thanks for the laughs this evening. Much love from Oregon! ❤
The young guy looks about as entertained as someone watching paint dry. However, then at 16:49 he expressed his true feelings. At 20:40 all three go off on a tangent about Stallone and Arnold on topics nobody really cares about at this point.
Bea Arthur was a very interesting person. In the service, etc. Tough cookie. My favorite character is Rose, then Bea A, Ma, and lastly Rue. The characters all need each other to make it work 😂
Just wanted to say that I really dug your Sly impression too! I love all the girls. I think most women have a little bit of each lady in them. So great watching you guys react to my fav show!
Blanche and Dorothy both did parts on All In The Family. Blanche and Rose both had parts on Mama's Family. You guys would probably like Betty White on Hot In Cleveland. She's quite a bit older, but she's got the digs in that one. 😊
All of the shows you mentioned were created by Norman Lear- including the Jefferson’s and Sanford and Son. All the characters from the different shows intermingled to a certain degree. Maude was a spinoff of All in the Family.
Bea as Dorothy has been -- by leaps and bounds -- my favorite for years! Hands down. Her impeccable line delivery, razor sharp whit, and the deadpan facial expression was top notch. I've loved her even since her other hit show from the 70s, Maude. How I miss her and all the girls. But rewatching the show keeps them alive and is still funny as anything!
Does the bottom guy not have a sense of humor? Or was he having a bad day? I haven't even seen him crack a smile and I'm 5 minutes into the video. BTW, my favorite was Sophia.
Okay I'm an old lady and I've been around since the original series and it was way ahead of its time and to be honest that show and 2 1/2 men pretty Ashton Kutcher are two of the best TV shows ever and they cover topics that were out there at the time and for older women having a primetime show at that time was unheard of probably even now😢😢😢 my favorite characters have got to be Sophia and Dorothy together and honestly they all were amazing❤❤❤ unfortunately none of them are still with us except in our hearts❤❤❤
I love how the people who put one of the newer editions of Dungeons & Dragons said that they put it together around their favorite idea for an adventuring party: the golden girls.
B Aurther was on judge judy once if i remember correctly. Ik one was on my kids blues clues .its sad that they are all gone i feel we lost a time that wont come back i wish id live as a adult during these times
My best friend of 40+ years moved in with me after her husband passed away. We’ve been living together now for about 10 years. We slam each other all the time and it keeps ya sharp and amused. It’s even more fun when my 2 daughters come over. 🖖🏻🇨🇦
That's what made their jokes funny. The show was hilarious. Without her caustic comments it wouldn't have been as funny. She played a bitter menopausal divorcee. Maud was ahead of its time. The first time a woman in later years has an abortion for one. It was controversial at the time.

Classic. The writing was perfect for these ladies and the ladies were perfect for the writing. Always a good laugh . Thanks guys.
Dorothy is my favorite. Even as a kid, I loved her biting wit.
Dorothy was like a Japanese sword, razor sharp that would cut you in two
Sophia was a flamethrower, burn you to ash in one sentence.
My favorite has changed so many times throughout the years - they’re all so funny that it depends on my mood lol
How can anyone not like Dorothy?
Those ladies never fail to make me laugh! 😄 They were all savages when it came to the insults, but Blanche and Sophia were my faves at it. Overall, though, Rose is my favorite GG. Thanks for the laughs this evening. Much love from Oregon! ❤
All four ladies have the perfect synergy- this is my favorite show of all time - love how Fenom loves it haha
Dorothy was crazy. I remember her being savage to Archie Bunker also!! 😊❤

Bea Arthur served in the military
Good Sly, Corey! More impressions please!
Thank you Karen. You got it! -- Corey Roy 😊😃

I love Maude 🙂

They were friends for a long time, that's why they could talk like that to one another.
Their PJs had shoulder pads lol

I love this show we used to watch it in the night 1990s. It was hilarious. We had it on at the beauty shop all the time. Thanks for reacting to this.
James' name was changed on the show, but then his father's character name was "Henry"
I have seen so many clips of The Golden girls and everybody knows the Golden girls song❤❤❤

The Golden Palace , The Golden Girls Spin Off Was Interesting!!
My best friend of 40+ years moved in with me after her husband passed away. We’ve been living together now for about 10 years. We slam each other all the time and it keeps ya sharp and amused. It’s even more fun when my 2 daughters come over. 🖖🏻🇨🇦
I think Golden Girls is the funnirst sitcom ever.
Bea author was on judge judy a case about animal cruelty
The audio was so messed up
Rue McClanahan (Blanche) and Bea Arthur also were in Maude together. Rue played the more naive neighbor friend to Maude.
Sophia is hands down my fav!!
I love the golden girls lol Rose made me laugh every time!!
thanks for watching
Olliwood did not like this. He brought the energy down during the reaction. Lol
That's what made their jokes funny. The show was hilarious. Without her caustic comments it wouldn't have been as funny. She played a bitter menopausal divorcee.
Maud was ahead of its time. The first time a woman in later years has an abortion for one. It was controversial at the time.
@singluna888
It also made news when she called her husband a son of a b*tch. First time something like that aired on tv.
Is the lad in the hoodie just paid or forced to be there watching? He might pretend to enjoy the stay at least to get some more likes.
I see as usual Ollie is not making much of a reaction😢😢😢😢
she almost like the female version of Al Bundy
No Rue that played Blanche was born in 1934. Estelle that played Sofia was born in 1923
You need to see Sly Stallone in OSCAR. He's awesome in that comedy. It's about a mobster in the 1920's attempting to go straight.
Are we bothering the guy on the bottom by forcing him to be here? Didn't look like he wanted to be here at all.
Comedy suggestion for you - Bernie Mac's first appearance on Def Comedy Jam.
Is the guy at the bottom falling asleep....have a little enthusiasm.
He is bringing down the whole team. Isn't he supposed to react in any way?
I love all of the girls it’s my favorite show. Rose is my favorite. I think Dorothy is awesome🩷
Was the styles of the times
❤❤❤ 😂😂😂😂😂
Messed up audio😢
I have seen so many clips of The Golden girls and everybody knows the Golden girls song❤❤❤
