A lot of the comedy comes from the amazing ability of these women expressing a punch line with just a look. They don’t even need a line of dialogue, they just carry the scene through with their facial expressions. That must be extremely difficult as an actor but they are all older and perfected their talent.

This show never gets old. Great performances, amazing writing, good celebrity guest appearances, touching on real issues out there, and the best savagery on tv. And my uncle did some work on the set for this show actually. He has a photo taken of his eldest son as a little boy beside Betty White, still has it.

The scene around the six minute and 30 second mark were they look like they were in a restaurant with Dorothy and the guy sitting at the table this was actually not the Golden girls this was the new spin off the golden girls in the 8th/1st season of the show called the Golden Palace so the very last episode of the actual Golden girls to serve the season Dorothy Mary’s Blanche uncle and they move to Atlanta then in the first episode of Golden Palace they leave and move out of that house and they become owners of a hotel called the Golden Palace minus Dorothy Who is no longer on the show but she did come in for one episode part one and part two and this was it and those episodes were I believe 25 episode one season in 1992 with several extra actors a black guy and a Hispanic guy
The black guy is don cheadle and the Hispanic guy is cheech
